himself_o can_v not_o enjoy_v the_o benefit_n that_o be_v offer_v he_o neither_o shall_v his_o child_n enjoy_v it_o that_o be_v too_o come_v you_o see_v then_o that_o two_o thousand_o and_o four_o hundred_o year_n be_v then_o to_o pass_v 18._o and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o abraham_n repent_v he_o not_o that_o he_o have_v forsake_v his_o father_n house_n as_o the_o apostle_n declare_v in_o the_o eleven_o too_o the_o hebrew_n but_o hilde_n on_o his_o race_n still_o albeit_o that_o god_n intend_v too_o try_v his_o patience_n too_o the_o uttermoste_a of_o much_o more_o reason_n ought_v we_o now_o adays_o too_o go_v on_o steadfast_o whither_o soever_o god_n call_v we_o and_o too_o hold_v up_o our_o head_n till_o we_o come_v too_o the_o crown_n of_o glory_n not_o withstand_v that_o as_o now_o it_o be_v hide_v from_o we_o and_o that_o we_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o believe_v and_o hope_v for_o thing_n that_o surmount_v all_o our_o capacity_n and_o which_o we_o can_v perceyve_v thus_o you_o see_v how_o we_o ought_v too_o put_v this_o text_n in_o ure_n now_o hereupon_o s._n paul_n conclude_v that_o if_o the_o inheritance_n come_v by_o the_o law_n it_o shall_v not_o come_v by_o faith_n but_o god_n give_v abraham_n all_o thing_n in_o respect_n of_o faith_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v too_o be_v conclude_v that_o the_o law_n must_v needs_o cease_v when_o man_n go_v about_o to_o get_v favour_n at_o god_n hand_n and_o the_o praise_n of_o our_o salvation_n must_v be_v yield_v all_o whole_o untoo_o he_o s._n paul_n in_o speak_v here_o of_o inheritance_n meen_v two_o thing_n the_o one_o be_v that_o what_o soever_o god_n have_v at_o any_o time_n promise_v we_o be_v of_o his_o own_o mere_a free_a goodness_n for_o a_o inheritance_n be_v not_o a_o wage_n or_o hire_n true_a it_o be_v that_o a_o father_n in_o give_v his_o child_n their_o heritage_n may_v well_o say_v see_v how_o i_o take_v pain_n for_o you_o mark_v what_o shall_v come_v of_o it_o you_o shall_v have_v my_o good_n among_o you_o but_o yet_o how_o soever_o the_o father_n deal_v with_o they_o he_o have_v none_o other_o respect_n than_o too_o his_o own_o kinship_n he_o labour_v and_o take_v great_a pain_n too_o provide_v for_o such_o as_o be_v so_o ally_v unto_o he_o see_v then_o that_o heritage_n be_v thing_n of_o free_a gift_n among_o man_n we_o must_v not_o take_v eternal_a life_n as_o a_o deserve_a wage_n or_o hire_n at_o god_n hand_n for_o why_o it_o be_v a_o heritage_n mark_v it_o for_o a_o sure_a ground_n that_o here_o all_o worthiness_n of_o man_n be_v exclude_v for_o when_o a_o man_n make_v his_o child_n his_o heir_n he_o pass_v not_o whither_o they_o have_v do_v any_o great_a work_n or_o no_o or_o whither_o they_o be_v fair_a or_o foul_a or_o whither_o they_o be_v one_o thing_n or_o other_o but_o it_o be_v enough_o for_o he_o that_o they_o be_v his_o child_n and_o that_o his_o mind_n be_v too_o provide_v for_o they_o another_o point_n be_v that_o saint_n paul_n in_o so_o say_v give_v we_o a_o inkling_n that_o we_o be_v all_o of_o we_o utter_o reject_v of_o god_n so_o as_o we_o can_v no_n not_o even_o in_o this_o transitory_a life_n enjoy_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o but_o by_o the_o only_a mere_a grace_n of_o god_n true_a it_o be_v that_o the_o sun_n shine_v as_o well_o upon_o the_o faithless_a as_o upon_o the_o faithful_a and_o all_o man_n be_v nurrish_v alike_o with_o the_o thing_n that_o god_n give_v and_o grant_v unto_o they_o but_o yet_o howsoever_o they_o fare_v the_o unbeliever_n possess_v not_o any_o thing_n by_o just_a title_n they_o be_v but_o thief_n and_o must_v yield_v account_n of_o the_o benefit_n and_o good_n which_o they_o have_v receyve_v of_o god_n even_o too_o the_o last_o drop_n of_o water_n because_o they_o be_v not_o sanctify_v but_o defile_v they_o asmuch_o as_o in_o they_o lay_v because_o they_o have_v no_o faith_n which_o as_o say_v saint_n paul_n be_v the_o thing_n whereby_o the_o benefit_n that_o god_n give_v untoo_o we_o be_v make_v clean_o 5._o that_o be_v the_o way_n for_o we_o too_o use_v they_o lawful_o but_o let_v faith_n be_v away_o and_o there_o shall_v be_v nothing_o else_o but_o unclennesse_n for_o why_o if_o my_o hand_n be_v foul_a and_o i_o handle_v the_o pretious_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n with_o they_o they_o shall_v be_v ray_v with_o the_o filthiness_n of_o my_o hand_n even_o so_o be_v it_o when_o we_o abuse_v god_n benefit_n the_o unbelief_n that_o be_v in_o we_o defile_v all_o and_o in_o the_o end_n all_o creature_n must_v cry_v out_o for_o vengeance_n upon_o we_o because_o we_o abuse_v they_o if_o we_o possess_v they_o not_o with_o faith_n
you_o see_v then_o that_o we_o can_v enjoy_v any_o thing_n at_o all_o unless_o we_o be_v god_n child_n and_o for_o the_o same_o cause_n also_o saint_n paul_n in_o the_o four_o too_o the_o roman_n 13._o think_v it_o not_o enough_o too_o set_v down_o the_o heavenly_a life_n and_o everlasting_a salvation_n but_o also_o name_v the_o heritage_n of_o the_o world_n and_o say_v that_o abraham_n be_v make_v heir_n of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o the_o same_o be_v not_o for_o that_o man_n alone_o but_o for_o all_o man_n in_o general_n therefore_o whereas_o god_n adopt_v we_o and_o tell_v we_o that_o he_o will_v be_v gracious_a untoo_o we_o it_o be_v too_o the_o end_n that_o while_o we_o live_v here_o beneath_o we_o shall_v be_v feed_v by_o his_o hand_n and_o he_o in_o give_v we_o food_n make_v we_o too_o taste_v aforehand_o of_o the_o love_n which_o he_o bear_v we_o and_o of_o the_o care_n that_o he_o have_v over_o us._n too_o be_v short_a we_o may_v and_o ought_v also_o too_o behold_v god_n fatherly_a goodness_n in_o all_o his_o creature_n do_v we_o open_v our_o eye_n and_o look_n upon_o the_o light_n of_o the_o sun_n even_o there_o do_v god_n show_v himself_o a_o father_n towards_o us._n when_o we_o eat_v and_o receyve_v our_o sustenance_n god_n reach_v out_o his_o hand_n too_o show_v that_o we_o be_v already_o feed_v by_o he_o as_o his_o own_o child_n too_o be_v short_a in_o all_o thing_n and_o by_o all_o mean_v he_o make_v we_o too_o taste_v his_o fatherly_a love_n aforehand_o too_o the_o intent_n we_o shall_v be_v confirm_v in_o the_o thing_n that_o he_o show_v we_o in_o the_o gospel_n that_o be_v too_o wit_n that_o he_o have_v reserve_v a_o better_a heritage_n for_o we_o as_o for_o his_o child_n who_o he_o have_v adopt_v then_o must_v all_o creature_n direct_v we_o untoo_o heavenward_o but_o sure_o we_o do_v the_o clean_a contrary_n for_o we_o apply_v god_n creature_n to_o our_o own_o lust_n so_o as_o we_o behilde_n down_o still_o by_o they_o here_o to_o be_v short_a look_v how_o many_o help_v god_n have_v give_v we_o too_o draw_v we_o too_o he_o so_o many_o let_v have_v we_o too_o hold_v we_o back_o in_o the_o world_n for_o we_o never_o pass_v too_o know_v how_o we_o shall_v be_v reckon_v for_o god_n child_n so_o we_o may_v live_v at_o our_o ease_n in_o this_o world_n that_o be_v enough_o for_o us._n but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o it_o stand_v we_o great_o on_o hand_n too_o perceyve_v that_o god_n do_v already_o in_o this_o world_n show_v himself_o a_o father_n towards_o we_o and_o intend_v too_o do_v we_o too_o wit_n what_o a_o care_n he_o have_v of_o we_o too_o the_o end_n we_o shall_v learn_v too_o refer_v ourselves_o whole_o untoo_o he_o and_o there_o too_o rest_n you_o see_v then_o that_o by_o this_o word_n heritage_n or_o inheritance_n god_n show_v first_o that_o whatsoever_o he_o offer_v we_o be_v of_o his_o own_o mere_a free_a bounteousness_n and_o second_o that_o we_o be_v so_o curse_v that_o we_o have_v no_o right_a too_o any_o thing_n no_o not_o even_o too_o a_o drop_n of_o water_n except_o god_n make_v we_o his_o heir_n and_o that_o must_v be_v do_v all_o only_a for_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n sake_n and_o therefore_o we_o must_v once_o again_o call_v to_o remembrance_n how_o we_o have_v heretofore_o see_v that_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v too_o jesus_n christ_n then_o be_v not_o abraham_n the_o stay_n and_o shoot_v anchor_n thereof_o 2._o and_o for_o that_o cause_n also_o be_v our_o lord_n jesus_n name_v the_o heir_n of_o all_o thing_n and_o look_v what_o he_o have_v peculiar_a too_o himself_o that_o doothe_v he_o communicate_v too_o we_o as_o too_o the_o member_n of_o his_o body_n in_o that_o respect_n also_o do_v s._n paul_n say_v 27._o that_o the_o say_n which_o be_v write_v in_o the_o seven_o verse_n of_o the_o eight_o psalm_n which_o be_v that_o he_o be_v make_v lord_n of_o all_o thing_n ought_v too_o be_v apply_v first_o of_o all_o to_o his_o person_n true_a it_o be_v that_o the_o say_a text_n be_v speak_v of_o all_o man_n according_a as_o we_o see_v how_o god_n have_v put_v all_o beast_n of_o the_o earth_n in_o subjection_n to_o man_n so_o as_o they_o be_v fain_o too_o die_v too_o give_v we_o sustenance_n and_o too_o clothe_v we_o and_o keep_v we_o warm_v again_o we_o see_v how_o the_o earth_n yield_v we_o fruit_n therefore_o the_o lordship_n of_o the_o world_n be_v give_v untoo_o we_o how_o beit_n that_o be_v but_o by_o the_o mean_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n for_o as_o i_o have_v touch_v already_o if_o we_o be_v separate_v from_o he_o we_o be_v forthwith_o so_o cut_v of_o from_o god_n house_n that_o the_o inheritance_n of_o they_o belong_v no_o more_o untoo_o we_o than_o too_o the_o further_a stranger_n in_o the_o world_n but_o now_o let_v we_o come_v too_o the_o chief_a point_n that_o be_v contain_v here_o s._n paul_n say_v that_o this_o heritage_n come_v not_o of_o the_o law_n but_o of_o faith_n whereas_o he_o use_v these_o two_o speech_n and_o cupple_v they_o toogither_o they_o be_v thing_n flat_o contrary_a as_o i_o have_v tell_v you_o heretofore_o not_o that_o the_o law_n be_v contrary_a too_o faith_n but_o because_o that_o too_o be_v justify_v before_o god_n and_o too_o obtain_v favour_n and_o mercy_n at_o his_o hand_n can_v come_v too_o pass_v by_o the_o law_n the_o law_n be_v not_o give_v too_o that_o end_n as_o we_o shall_v see_v in_o the_o next_o sermon_n but_o too_o the_o clean_a contrary_n so_o then_o sing_v that_o the_o heritage_n come_v by_o faith_n we_o must_v conclude_v that_o our_o work_v can_v do_v nothing_o and_o that_o we_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o come_v to_o god_n utter_o empty_a as_o poor_a beggar_n too_o crave_v too_o be_v fill_v by_o he_o because_o we_o have_v not_o one_o drop_n of_o goodness_n in_o ourselves_o you_o see_v then_o whereat_o s._n paul_n am_v when_o he_o say_v that_o the_o inheritance_n come_v of_o faith_n and_o not_o of_o the_o law_n according_a also_o as_o god_n give_v it_o untoo_o abraham_n in_o respect_n of_o faith_n and_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o if_o we_o be_v not_o able_a too_o deserve_v any_o nurrishment_n in_o this_o world_n what_o shall_v we_o be_v able_a too_o do_v towards_o the_o possess_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n when_o there_o be_v any_o talk_n of_o corruptible_a sustenance_n it_o be_v nothing_o in_o comparison_n of_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n 28._o for_o it_o be_v say_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v make_v parttaker_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o our_o god_n and_o that_o then_o we_o shall_v be_v all_o in_o all_o thing_n but_o as_o now_o we_o can_v deserve_v so_o much_o as_o one_o bit_n of_o bread_n for_o the_o inheritance_n come_v of_o faith_n that_o be_v to_o say_v all_o that_o ever_o god_n have_v promise_v man_n be_v of_o his_o own_o mere_a free_a goodness_n and_o how_o can_v we_o then_o purchase_v the_o realm_n of_o paradise_n what_o a_o pride_n be_v it_o for_o man_n to_o presume_v to_o come_v to_o it_o by_o their_o own_o strength_n must_v it_o not_o needs_o be_v that_o they_o be_v carry_v away_o with_o a_o terrible_a rage_n moreover_o in_o say_v that_o god_n give_v all_o thing_n to_o our_o father_n abraham_n in_o respect_n of_o his_o faith_n s._n paul_n do_v yet_o better_o express_v and_o show_v that_o which_o i_o have_v tell_v you_o already_o namely_o that_o man_n be_v able_a to_o deserve_v nothing_o of_o himself_o and_o that_o he_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o have_v all_o of_o free_a gift_n he_o have_v say_v afore_o as_o we_o have_v see_v already_o that_o the_o promise_n be_v make_v and_o utter_v but_o here_o he_o use_v the_o word_n give_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v here_o be_v not_o a_o bargain_n between_o party_n &_o party_n too_o say_v i_o will_v do_v this_o and_o thou_o shall_v do_v that_o i_o will_v sell_v and_o thou_o shall_v buy_v but_o god_n do_v free_o give_v and_o man_n do_v but_o only_o receive_v see_v then_o that_o we_o must_v come_v unto_o god_n to_o receyve_v that_o which_o he_o offer_v we_o and_o that_o we_o have_v not_o any_o other_o title_n to_o the_o thing_n that_o we_o look_v for_o at_o his_o hand_n than_o only_o by_o free_a gift_n let_v we_o forget_v all_o the_o worthiness_n which_o we_o imagine_v to_o be_v in_o ourselves_o and_o acknowledge_v that_o we_o be_v nothing_o and_o sure_o s._n paul_n use_v one_o other_o manner_n of_o speech_n which_o serve_v to_o express_v better_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v mean_v here_o which_o be_v that_o if_o the_o heritage_n come_v by_o the_o law_n the_o promise_n be_v disannul_v and_o so_o consequent_o faith_n therefore_o to_o be_v
