gospel_n and_o whatsoever_o be_v not_o that_o but_o a_o command_n or_o threaten_a that_o belong_v to_o the_o law_n whereas_o this_o need_v a_o great_a discussion_n 2._o the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n be_v not_o about_o the_o gospel_n or_o the_o law_n as_o they_o be_v both_o a_o doctrine_n in_o the_o scripture_n but_o about_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n work_v by_o one_o or_o the_o other_o and_o the_o not_o attend_v to_o this_o make_v the_o argument_n so_o confound_v 3._o he_o say_v it_o be_v not_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o new_a birth_n whereas_o conversion_n or_o regeneration_n be_v make_v the_o write_n of_o the_o law_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o mat._n 13._o the_o word_n of_o god_n in_o general_n be_v compare_v to_o seed_v sow_v that_o bring_v forth_o different_a fruit_n as_o be_v justification_n how_o by_o the_o antinomian_a principle_n can_v our_o saviour_n pray_v for_o the_o justification_n of_o those_o who_o be_v already_o justify_v but_o in_o the_o next_o place_n grant_v that_o interpretation_n of_o sanctification_n answer_n 2_o for_o renovation_n how_o do_v this_o prove_v that_o the_o law_n be_v not_o use_v instrumental_o for_o our_o saviour_n argument_n be_v universal_a thy_o word_n be_v truth_n and_o may_v not_o this_o be_v affirm_v of_o the_o law_n as_o well_o as_o the_o gospel_n do_v not_o david_n speak_v of_o the_o law_n call_v it_o pure_a and_o clean_o that_o be_v true_a have_v no_o falsehood_n in_o it_o yea_o it_o be_v think_v probable_a by_o a_o learned_a man_n that_o this_o speech_n of_o our_o saviour_n be_v take_v out_o of_o psal_n 119._o 142._o where_o be_v these_o word_n gerbard_n gerbard_n express_o thy_o law_n be_v the_o truth_n where_o the_o word_n law_n can_v exclude_v the_o moral_a law_n though_o it_o may_v include_v more_o the_o next_o instance_n be_v tit._n 2._o ver_fw-la 11_o 12._o for_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n that_o instance_n 2_o bring_v salvation_n have_v appear_v to_o all_o man_n teach_v we_o that_o the_o rom._n ver_fw-la 14._o where_o speak_v of_o the_o great_a commendation_n the_o psalmist_n give_v the_o law_n of_o god_n that_o it_o convert_v the_o soul_n and_o we_o may_v add_v those_o place_n of_o enlighten_v the_o mind_n that_o they_o cleanse_v a_o man_n way_n etc._n etc._n he_o make_v this_o question_n whether_o the_o law_n do_v ever_o obtain_v such_o effect_n or_o no_o and_o he_o answer_v affirmative_o that_o it_o do_v but_o then_o when_o it_o be_v write_v not_o in_o table_n but_o in_o the_o heart_n and_o bowel_n of_o man_n so_o that_o he_o conceive_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n answer_v of_o instance_n 3_o which_o all_o be_v answer_v be_v from_o gal._n 3._o 2._o receive_v you_o the_o spirit_n by_o answ_n the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n or_o by_o the_o hear_n of_o faith_n
