steadfastness_n of_o your_o faith_n the_o difference_n between_o a_o temporary_a faith_n and_o true_a justify_n faith_n faith_n in_o christ_n for_o justify_v faith_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o solid_a three_o property_n i_o find_v that_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v impute_v so_o much_o to_o those_o outward_a thing_n for_o which_o this_o faith_n do_v apprehend_v christ_n in_o the_o word_n and_o rejoice_v in_o he_o as_o to_o the_o inward_a evil_a affection_n of_o the_o heart_n for_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n as_o christ_n say_v be_v stony_a ground_n that_o be_v it_o be_v neither_o good_a nor_o honest_a of_o it_o own_o nature_n now_o we_o measure_v this_o goodness_n and_o honesty_n
chief_o by_o simplicity_n and_o sincerity_n which_o be_v oppose_v to_o hypocrisy_n and_o dissemble_n therefore_o a_o deep_a hypocrisy_n which_o be_v contrary_a to_o sincerity_n possess_v the_o heart_n of_o this_o man_n now_o the_o heart_n so_o affect_v do_v believe_v apprehend_v and_o rejoice_v not_o sincere_o for_o a_o true_a cause_n for_o which_o it_o ought_v to_o do_v these_o thing_n but_o for_o agree_v best_a with_o the_o will_n of_o the_o regenerate_a person_n but_o if_o you_o define_v liberty_n to_o consist_v of_o a_o power_n not_o constrain_v tend_v to_o good_a only_o and_o not_o to_o evil_a then_o very_o the_o man_n regenerate_v be_v not_o so_o free_a but_o proceed_v only_o to_o this_o liberty_n which_o shall_v at_o length_n be_v perfect_v in_o another_o life_n final_o concern_v the_o estate_n of_o glorification_n the_o question_n be_v whether_o man_n when_o he_o shall_v be_v glorify_v shall_v have_v this_o liberty_n of_o will_n i_o answer_v if_o you_o define_v freewill_n a_o power_n to_o make_v choice_n of_o either_o part_n even_o in_o good_a thing_n and_o in_o evil_a then_o i_o say_v man_n in_o this_o state_n of_o glorification_n shall_v not_o have_v it_o for_o he_o shall_v have_v that_o near_a power_n to_o good_a only_o because_o of_o that_o form_n of_o holiness_n or_o glory_n rather_o wherewith_o then_o his_o will_n shall_v be_v endue_v withal_o i_o deny_v free_o will_n or_o will_z choose_v or_o refuse_v howbeit_o since_o the_o fall_n of_o man_n such_o be_v the_o confusion_n of_o these_o faculty_n or_o power_n of_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n that_o what_o the_o understanding_n judge_v to_o be_v evil_a and_o disallow_v the_o very_a same_o do_v the_o will_v choose_v and_o prosecute_v man_n the_o disorder_n and_o confusion_n which_o be_v by_o nature_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_a that_o which_o the_o mind_n approve_v for_o good_a and_o allow_v that_o very_o same_o the_o will_n reject_v of_o the_o mind_n it_o may_v be_v demand_v whether_o it_o can_v discern_v between_o good_a and_o evil_a approve_v the_o one_o improve_v the_o other_o this_o question_n must_v be_v answer_v by_o the_o consideration_n of_o that_o fourfold_a state_n of_o man_n but_o because_o the_o question_n chief_o be_v of_o the_o understanding_n of_o man_n in_o the_o state_n of_o corruption_n whether_o that_o can_v approve_v or_o accept_v
