unto_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o lord_n people_n therefore_o they_o shall_v study_v to_o grow_v in_o grace_n particular_o in_o love_n to_o the_o saint_n and_o that_o they_o shall_v labour_v to_o have_v such_o love_n to_o they_o as_o slow_v from_o a_o sincere_a desire_n of_o their_o good_a and_o by_o the_o effect_n of_o it_o do_v prove_v itself_o to_o be_v such_o hence_o learn_v 1._o the_o fair_a beginning_n and_o further_a progress_n any_o have_v already_o make_v in_o the_o way_n of_o holiness_n they_o shall_v find_v themselves_o the_o more_o strong_o oblige_v to_o hold_v on_o in_o that_o way_n lest_o they_o lose_v the_o fruit_n of_o their_o former_a pain_n 2_o joh._n 8._o and_o prove_v more_o dishonourable_a to_o god_n and_o offensive_a to_o other_o than_o if_o they_o have_v never_o enter_v or_o make_v such_o progress_n in_o that_o way_n 2_o pet._n 2.22_o for_o the_o apostle_n here_o make_v former_a progress_n in_o holiness_n a_o motive_n to_o further_a progress_n therein_o see_v you_o have_v purify_v your_o soul_n etc._n etc._n see_v that_o you_o love_v etc._n etc._n 2._o as_o all_o those_o who_o the_o lord_n have_v save_o enlighten_v and_o renew_v will_v discern_v in_o their_o soul_n many_o filthy_a and_o unclean_a root_n beside_o any_o that_o have_v break_v out_o so_o their_o great_a work_n shall_v be_v to_o have_v their_o soul_n purge_v from_o those_o know_v that_o from_o the_o pollute_a fountain_n of_o the_o heart_n flow_v all_o the_o pollution_n of_o the_o life_n mat._n 15.19_o and_o that_o except_o the_o heart_n be_v in_o some_o measure_n cleanse_v
