thus_o idolise_v themselves_o again_o you_o have_v some_o who_o be_v none_o of_o the_o worst_a religion_n 7._o idolatry_n be_v commit_v by_o trust_v to_o the_o performance_n and_o task_n of_o religion_n who_o commit_v this_o great_a sin_n of_o idolatry_n by_o trust_v to_o the_o outward_a performance_n and_o task_n of_o religion_n think_v that_o god_n must_v needs_o be_v bind_v unto_o they_o when_o they_o have_v do_v so_o many_o task_n read_v and_o pray_v or_o hear_v so_o many_o sermon_n or_o do_v a_o good_a deed_n but_o here_o lie_v the_o spiritual_a subtlety_n in_o that_o they_o set_v up_o these_o thing_n too_o high_a when_o if_o they_o find_v not_o that_o success_n they_o look_v for_o than_o they_o inward_o murmur_v against_o god_n when_o rather_o all_o these_o thing_n shall_v be_v do_v with_o a_o spirit_n of_o humility_n and_o subjection_n use_v they_o only_o as_o mean_n whereupon_o we_o expect_v god_n blessing_n crave_v his_o assistance_n and_o strength_n to_o do_v they_o in_o a_o holy_a and_o a_o selfe-denying_a manner_n when_o we_o do_v otherwise_o and_o trust_v to_o the_o outward_a task_n and_o performance_n we_o do_v we_o make_v they_o idol_n and_o you_o have_v many_o that_o go_v along_o with_o outward_a performance_n who_o never_o come_v to_o a_o dram_n of_o grace_n because_o they_o trust_v to_o the_o outward_a performance_n and_o look_v not_o to_o the_o life_n and_o soul_n of_o they_o which_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n assist_v quicken_a strengthen_v blessing_n they_o the_o life_n of_o a_o christian_a be_v a_o perpetual_a dependence_n upon_o god_n in_o the_o use_n of_o mean_n and_o not_o a_o idolize_v of_o they_o to_o be_v careless_a when_o he_o have_v do_v his_o task_n everlasting_a 8._o it_o be_v idolatry_n so_o to_o trust_v to_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n as_o to_o neglect_v justification_n and_o acceptation_n to_o life_n everlasting_a but_o a_o more_o subtle_a idolatry_n than_o this_o be_v of_o a_o other_o kind_n when_o we_o trust_v too_o much_o to_o the_o work_n of_o grace_n and_o rely_v not_o upon_o god_n in_o christ_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o justification_n and_o acceptation_n to_o life_n everlasting_a which_o be_v a_o fault_n both_o 1._o before_o 2._o after_o conversion_n first_o before_o conversion_n when_o we_o think_v we_o have_v not_o do_v so_o much_o good_a and_o be_v sufficient_o humble_v and_o cause_n but_o only_o be_v help_n and_o comfort_n to_o we_o in_o our_o walk_n to_o heaven_n for_o if_o we_o have_v all_o the_o sin_n of_o all_o man_n yet_o christ_n all-sufficient_a righteousness_n how_o shall_v we_o come_v to_o grow_v answ_n go_v to_o god_n that_o we_o may_v continual_o have_v from_o he_o the_o sanctify_a dew_n of_o his_o grace_n go_v first_o for_o pardon_n of_o sin_n order_n
