place_n or_o other_o if_o our_o adversary_n will_v yield_v to_o be_v try_v about_o the_o forementioned_a controversy_n by_o these_o old_a canon_n which_o have_v be_v universal_o receive_v for_o undoubted_a truth_n by_o all_o christian_a church_n in_o primitive_a time_n when_o the_o water_n run_v clear_a from_o under_o the_o threshold_n of_o the_o sanctuary_n i_o shall_v adventure_v to_o bear_v the_o disgrace_n if_o i_o do_v not_o convince_v they_o of_o error_n about_o each_o controversy_n that_o i_o have_v before_o name_v the_o first_o controversy_n handle_v about_o election_n their_o first_o error_n that_o i_o shall_v undertake_v to_o confute_v be_v their_o assertion_n that_o god_n election_n of_o man_n unto_o salvation_n be_v ground_v upon_o his_o foresight_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o obedience_n or_o sanctification_n and_o good_a work_n that_o be_v that_o he_o elect_v such_o and_o such_o man_n to_o life_n and_o salvation_n because_o he_o forsee_v that_o they_o will_v believe_v and_o walk_v in_o obedience_n to_o his_o commandment_n this_o assertion_n i_o shall_v prove_v to_o be_v a_o error_n by_o these_o four_o argument_n the_o first_o argument_n if_o man_n shall_v therefore_o believe_v because_o they_o be_v elect_v and_o ordain_v to_o eternal_a life_n than_o they_o be_v not_o elect_v and_o ordain_v to_o eternal_a life_n because_o they_o will_v believe_v this_o consequence_n can_v be_v deny_v by_o any_o intelligent_a man_n but_o man_n shall_v therefore_o believe_v because_o they_o be_v elect_v and_o ordain_v to_o eternal_a life_n and_o therefore_o be_v not_o predestination_n to_o salvation_n therefore_o god_n foresight_n of_o their_o sanctification_n and_o good_a work_n can_v be_v the_o first_o cause_n and_o ground_n thereof_o the_o a_o sumption_n i_o prove_v from_o these_o two_o text_n of_o scripture_n pass_v by_o many_o other_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n rom._n 9.11_o s._n paul_n there_o affirm_v that_o the_o purpose_n of_o god_n according_a
