creature_n but_o only_o i_o wot_v not_o what_o formelesse_a matter_n or_o dead_a carcase_n for_o such_o a_o uncouth_a thing_n be_v the_o body_n without_o the_o soul_n and_o though_o a_o soul_n come_v afterward_o from_o another_o ans_fw-fr obj._n ans_fw-fr that_o be_v nothing_o to_o the_o parent_n for_o they_o beget_v only_o the_o former_a and_o i_o trow_v it_o be_v unjust_a to_o make_v they_o father_n that_o which_o they_o never_o beget_v so_o that_o by_o the_o course_n of_o nature_n if_o man_n do_v not_o beget_v the_o whole_a man_n he_o can_v possible_o be_v say_v to_o be_v a_o father_n to_o the_o whole_a man_n form_n no_o father_n without_o give_v the_o form_n this_o far_a appear_v for_o that_o by_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n it_o be_v not_o the_o give_v of_o the_o matter_n alone_o much_o less_o the_o matter_n of_o the_o body_n only_o that_o make_v a_o father_n for_o that_o be_v of_o the_o element_n in_o the_o conveyance_n whereof_o the_o father_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o instrument_n only_o but_o the_o form_n be_v proper_o and_o immediate_o he_o which_o if_o he_o do_v not_o propagate_v to_o his_o offspring_n he_o can_v no_o more_o be_v a_o father_n to_o his_o child_n than_o to_o flea_n or_o louse_n that_o breed_v of_o his_o matter_n but_o without_o his_o form_n than_o which_o what_o grosser_n absurdity_n can_v be_v in_o nature_n body_n 3._o else_o he_o can_v be_v a_o father_n to_o the_o body_n beside_o man_n shall_v then_o be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v a_o father_n to_o the_o whole_a man_n that_o he_o can_v be_v father_n to_o no_o part_n of_o he_o for_o he_o can_v be_v but_o partly_o a_o father_n that_o beget_v but_o part_n of_o a_o creature_n and_o so_o not_o a_o whole_a father_n to_o any_o part_n and_o if_o fatherhood_n consist_v especial_o in_o give_v the_o form_n and_o that_o come_v only_o from_o god_n he_o only_o be_v a_o father_n to_o the_o whole_a man_n rather_o yea_o be_v not_o there_o much_o more_o reason_n to_o say_v god_n only_o be_v our_o father_n because_o the_o soul_n the_o more_o noble_a part_n come_v from_o he_o than_o that_o adam_n be_v because_o the_o base_a part_n the_o body_n and_o yet_o not_o the_o body_n neither_o but_o something_o like_o the_o body_n come_v from_o he_o i_o suppose_v any_o reasonable_a man_n will_v grant_v it_o without_o any_o far_a reason_n nothing_o 4._o else_o he_o can_v beget_v nothing_o and_o thus_o he_o can_v be_v father_n to_o our_o body_n unless_o to_o our_o soul_n also_o yea_o it_o be_v impossible_a in_o nature_n that_o he_o shall_v beget_v any_o thing_n without_o the_o soul_n for_o there_o can_v be_v no_o natural_a body_n without_o form_n and_o no_o form_n of_o a_o humane_a body_n but_o the_o soul_n if_o therefore_o man_n do_v not_o propagate_v the_o soul_n together_o with_o the_o body_n he_o can_v propagate_v any_o thing_n but_o a_o mere_a nullity_n viz._n nothing_o at_o all_o all_o 5._o else_o he_o can_v beget_v at_o all_o moreover_o i_o say_v he_o can_v propagate_v at_o all_o for_o generation_n be_v not_o of_o part_n but_o of_o creature_n the_o matter_n and_o form_n simple_o consider_v can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v generate_v but_o the_o creature_n consist_v of_o matter_n and_o form_n and_o therefore_o when_o i_o say_v the_o soul_n be_v generate_v or_o produce_v it_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v joint_o with_o the_o body_n because_o the_o whole_a be_v otherwise_o neither_o can_v proper_o be_v say_v to_o be_v generate_v but_o rather_o congenerate_v so_o that_o if_o man_n beget_v not_o both_o he_o beget_v not_o at_o all_o beast_n 6._o else_o man_n shall_v be_v inferior_a to_o beast_n again_o if_o man_n can_v beget_v man_n he_o be_v by_o nature_n herein_o inferior_a to_o brute_n beast_n yea_o even_o the_o base_a creature_n who_o yet_o can_v propagate_v their_o like_a both_o in_o regard_n of_o soul_n and_o body_n and_o to_o make_v man_n herein_o inferior_a to_o beast_n ans_fw-fr ob._n ans_fw-fr what_o can_v be_v more_o absurd_a neither_o be_v it_o not_o any_o disparagement_n so_o long_o as_o his_o soul_n come_v from_o a_o high_a principle_n for_o it_o be_v not_o only_o a_o indecorum_n and_o a_o gross_a deformity_n in_o nature_n that_o man_n shall_v be_v leave_v destitute_a of_o that_o power_n which_o be_v give_v to_o brute_n beast_n in_o so_o main_a a_o thing_n yea_o even_o the_o high_a degree_n of_o natural_a perfection_n but_o also_o it_o cast_v a_o aspersion_n upon_o god_n himself_o as_o if_o he_o be_v oversee_v in_o endeavour_v to_o make_v a_o creature_n subject_a to_o the_o law_n of_o nature_n of_o so_o high_a
