to_o the_o world_n to_o attract_v the_o esteem_n and_o love_n of_o the_o world_n we_o may_v exalt_v and_o expose_v ourselves_o to_o view_n as_o object_n fit_a to_o employ_v those_o mind_n and_o heart_n which_o god_n have_v make_v only_o for_o himself_o we_o may_v then_o employ_v ourselves_o either_o about_o ourselves_o or_o the_o imaginary_a power_n of_o the_o creature_n viii_o there_o be_v nothing_o certain_o more_o agreeable_a both_o to_o christianity_n and_o reason_n than_o this_o principle_n that_o it_o be_v god_n alone_o who_o do_v every_o thing_n and_o that_o he_o communicate_v to_o the_o creator_n alone_o when_o the_o creature_n by_o a_o power_n which_o they_o have_v not_o in_o they_o execute_v such_o design_n as_o be_v form_v before_o their_o creation_n what_o be_v more_o holy_a than_o this_o principle_n which_o clear_o show_v to_o such_o as_o be_v capable_a of_o right_o understand_v it_o that_o in_o many_o case_n it_o be_v lawful_a for_o we_o to_o approach_v the_o object_n of_o our_o sense_n by_o the_o motion_n of_o our_o body_n but_o that_o we_o must_v reserve_v all_o the_o motion_n of_o our_o soul_n for_o god_n alone_o for_o we_o may_v nay_o and_o many_o time_n ought_v to_o move_v towards_o the_o occasional_a cause_n of_o our_o sensation_n but_o we_o must_v never_o leave_v it_o we_o may_v join_v ourselves_o to_o other_o man_n but_o we_o must_v never_o adore_v they_o with_o the_o motion_n of_o our_o love_n either_o as_o our_o good_a or_o as_o capable_a of_o procure_v we_o any_o good_a we_o must_v love_v and_o fear_v only_o the_o true_a cause_n of_o good_a and_o evil_a we_o must_v love_v and_o fear_v
