fire_n for_o let_v they_o tell_v i_o how_o fire_n affect_v the_o soul_n now_o she_o be_v in_o the_o body_n and_o i_o will_v tell_v they_o how_o it_o may_v torment_v it_o when_o out_o of_o the_o body_n but_o this_o by_o the_o by_o the_o thing_n i_o direct_o intend_v be_v that_o since_o the_o soul_n may_v be_v capable_a of_o pain_n as_o well_o without_o the_o mediation_n of_o the_o body_n as_o with_o it_o this_o can_v be_v its_o distinction_n from_o grief_n that_o it_o affect_v the_o soul_n by_o the_o mediation_n of_o the_o body_n but_o to_o go_v on_o as_o i_o be_o not_o satisfy_v with_o the_o ground_n of_o your_o distinction_n so_o neither_o be_o i_o with_o the_o use_n and_o application_n you_o make_v of_o it_o mental_a pain_n say_v you_o be_v a_o evil_a but_o such_o as_o god_n do_v not_o cause_n again_o sensible_a pain_n god_n do_v indeed_o cause_n but_o then_o that_o be_v not_o proper_o the_o evil_a of_o man._n now_o i_o can_v accord_v with_o you_o in_o either_o of_o these_o as_o to_o the_o first_o i_o think_v it_o very_o certain_a that_o mental_a pain_n be_v a_o real_a modification_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v cause_v by_o god_n who_o alone_o be_v able_a to_o new_a modify_v our_o soul_n who_o only_a act_n upon_o they_o and_o be_v able_a to_o make_v they_o happy_a or_o miserable_a as_o i_o have_v sufficient_o prove_v in_o my_o discourse_n of_o divine_a love_n and_o as_o you_o your_o distinguish_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n into_o two_o part_n a_o superior_a and_o a_o inferior_a part_n the_o latter_a of_o which_o be_v not_o proper_o the_o man_n that_o pain_n which_o be_v lodge_v there_o can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o proper_a evil_n of_o man._n thus_o the_o stoic_n reason_v of_o old_a and_o thus_o you_o now_o but_o beside_o that_o this_o distinction_n of_o the_o and_o since_o as_o it_o have_v be_v sufficicient_o prove_v we_o perceive_v all_o thing_n in_o god_n who_o present_v to_o spirit_n no_o other_o idea_n than_o himself_o who_o indeed_o be_v all_o it_o plain_o and_o necessary_o follow_v that_o the_o natural_a motion_n of_o our_o will_n be_v and_o must_v be_v towards_o god_n and_o he_o only_o who_o have_v make_v himself_o the_o sole_a term_n and_o object_n of_o our_o natural_a love_n ought_v also_o to_o be_v make_v by_o we_o the_o sole_a object_n of_o that_o which_o be_v free_a since_o as_o be_v lay_v down_o in_o the_o beginning_n the_o determination_n of_o our_o will_n that_o be_v free_a aught_o to_o be_v conformable_a to_o that_o which_o be_v natural_a the_o whole_a sum_n and_o force_n of_o this_o reason_n lie_v in_o this_o
