corruption_n which_o lie_v sore_a and_o heavy_a upon_o they_o make_v they_o groan_v what_o be_v the_o cause_n then_o that_o man_n seek_v for_o good_a in_o riches_n in_o honour_n and_o in_o pleasure_n why_o do_v they_o make_v account_n that_o their_o misery_n be_v assuage_v and_o mitigate_v by_o these_o doubtless_o there_o be_v no_o cause_n but_o blindness_n yea_o intolerable_a and_o lamentable_a blindness_n as_o they_o know_v not_o themselves_o so_o have_v they_o no_o eye_n to_o see_v in_o what_o case_n all_o creature_n under_o heaven_n be_v for_o if_o man_n can_v be_v bring_v to_o see_v in_o decay_n nor_o no_o undo_n of_o thing_n do_v in_o former_a age_n there_o will_v have_v be_v enough_o do_v long_o ago_o to_o suffice_v all_o that_o shall_v follow_v but_o as_o he_o say_v there_o be_v a_o time_n to_o plant_v and_o a_o time_n to_o pluck_v up_o that_o which_o be_v plant_v a_o time_n to_o break_v down_o and_o a_o time_n to_o build_v some_o undo_v and_o destroy_v as_o fault_n as_o other_o set_v up_o thus_o shall_v it_o continue_v to_o the_o world_n end_n because_o god_n have_v thus_o decree_v and_o set_v it_o upon_o the_o child_n of_o man_n the_o wise_a man_n behold_v this_o with_o other_o thing_n before_o mention_v be_v clean_o out_o of_o hope_n that_o any_o of_o all_o his_o goodly_a work_n wrought_v with_o such_o wisdom_n shall_v continue_v for_o who_o can_v withstand_v god_n decree_n second_o he_o show_v that_o this_o be_v do_v of_o god_n by_o a_o goodly_a excellent_a and_o just_a dispensation_n he_o utter_v it_o in_o these_o word_n he_o have_v make_v every_o thing_n beautiful_a in_o his_o time_n we_o have_v see_v certain_a particular_n whereby_o he_o declare_v that_o every_o thing_n have_v his_o time_n and_o their_o contrary_n succeed_v a_o time_n to_o be_v bear_v a_o time_n to_o die_v a_o time_n of_o war_n a_o time_n of_o peace_n a_o time_n to_o love_n a_o time_n to_o hate_v go_v through_o all_o thing_n under_o heaven_n and_o it_o be_v so_o he_o say_v also_o that_o god_n have_v set_v it_o thus_o it_o may_v arise_v in_o man_n mind_n how_o can_v these_o thing_n come_v from_o god_n be_v they_o beséeme_v his_o government_n many_o thing_n be_v ugly_a and_o horrible_a to_o behold_v he_o affirm_v that_o he_o have_v make_v they_o all_o be_v wtifull_a in_o their_o time_n in_o the_o outward_a appearance_n there_o be_v a_o thousand_o evil_a favour_a sight_n in_o the_o mischéefe_n the_o misery_n and_o calamity_n that_o light_n upon_o man_n there_o be_v monstrous_a exploit_n loathsome_a to_o be_v speak_v whereby_o man_n be_v oppress_v and_o their_o estate_n make_v miserable_a come_v these_o from_o god_n appointment_n can_v it_o agree_v with_o his_o holy_a government_n yea_o say_v solomon_n how_o so_o ever_o the_o outward_a appearance_n be_v if_o man_n have_v eye_n to_o see_v if_o man_n be_v lighten_v with_o god_n spirit_n it_o shall_v be_v apparent_a unto_o they_o that_o all_o these_o deform_a mischéefe_n and_o calamity_n be_v not_o only_o send_v from_o god_n for_o just_a cause_n but_o also_o very_o beautiful_a in_o their_o time_n i_o must_v here_o enter_v into_o some_o particular_n that_o it_o may_v be_v clear_a for_o i_o know_v this_o doctrine_n will_v seem_v strange_a to_o the_o ignorant_a sort_n he_o say_v before_o that_o there_o be_v a_o time_n of_o war_n and_o a_o time_n of_o peace_n the_o one_o of_o they_o that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o time_n of_o peace_n be_v beautiful_a all_o man_n see_v the_o beauty_n of_o peace_n and_o commend_v it_o for_o then_o mâ—_n increase_v and_o prosper_v they_o plant_v orchard_n they_o buyld_v fair_a house_n then_o kingdom_n and_o city_n do_v flourish_v but_o can_v this_o be_v say_v of_o the_o other_o namely_o of_o the_o time_n of_o war_n be_v it_o a_o beautiful_a sight_n to_o see_v man_n slay_v to_o have_v their_o blood_n run_v in_o the_o street_n be_v it_o pleasant_a to_o behold_v fair_a house_n break_v down_o city_n and_o town_n burn_v and_o consume_v the_o corn_n field_n and_o orchard_n lay_v waste_v and_o destroy_v be_v it_o delightsome_a for_o man_n to_o look_v upon_o the_o savage_a barbarous_a soldier_n when_o they_o take_v their_o wife_n and_o daughter_n even_o the_o sober_a matron_n and_o beautiful_a virgin_n to_o ravish_v and_o defile_v they_o even_o before_o their_o face_n can_v any_o take_v pleasure_n when_o the_o sword_n the_o dagger_n and_o spear_n be_v thrust_v into_o the_o young_a infant_n the_o little_a babe_n even_o their_o daughter_n and_o their_o son_n their_o tender_a body_n cast_v forth_o into_o the_o street_n and_o tread_v like_o mire_n with_o the_o horse_n be_v not_o this_o lamentable_a shall_v we_o say_v that_o god_n have_v make_v these_o beautiful_a in_o their_o time_n he_o say_v so_o and_o we_o must_v believe_v he_o in_o like_a sort_n he_o say_v there_o be_v a_o time_n to_o cast_v away_o stone_n and_o a_o time_n to_o gather_v stone_n together_o a_o time_n to_o find_v a_o time_n to_o lose_v a_o time_n to_o keep_v a_o time_n to_o cast_v away_o the_o one_o part_n that_o be_v to_o gather_v to_o find_v to_o keep_v may_v seem_v beautiful_a but_o not_o their_o contrary_n as_o for_o example_n a_o man_n gather_v good_n heap_v up_o riches_n build_v house_n and_o purchase_v land_n his_o son_n do_v come_v after_o and_o he_o add_v double_a and_o treble_a he_o go_v beyoond_v his_o father_n it_o continue_v thus_o for_o certain_a generation_n until_o the_o heap_n be_v great_a at_o last_o their_o step_v in_o one_o that_o scatter_v all_o abroad_o
addict_v to_o follow_v his_o own_o brain_n that_o let_v never_o so_o good_a counsel_n and_o admonition_n be_v give_v he_o will_v not_o follow_v it_o to_o make_v manifest_a how_o great_a the_o harm_n and_o damage_n be_v which_o this_o man_n do_v draw_v upon_o himself_o and_o the_o mischief_n and_o snare_n into_o which_o he_o fall_v solomon_n do_v very_o excellent_o set_v it_o forth_o by_o comparison_n this_o fool_n for_o so_o he_o term_v he_o let_v he_o have_v all_o the_o advantage_n that_o may_v be_v to_o such_o a_o one_o yet_o shall_v they_o not_o deliver_v he_o age_n be_v a_o great_a matter_n to_o be_v regard_v and_o a_o great_a help_n to_o go_v through_o because_o it_o have_v see_v much_o riches_n and_o honour_n and_o authority_n especial_o when_o they_o be_v with_o the_o great_a as_o in_o king_n must_v needs_o do_v exceed_a much_o but_o yet_o all_o these_o that_o be_v age_n riches_n honour_n power_n or_o authority_n shall_v not_o be_v able_a to_o deliver_v the_o wilful_a conceit_a fool_n that_o know_v not_o to_o be_v admonish_v any_o more_o from_o misery_n and_o danger_n no_o though_o he_o be_v a_o king_n this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o he_o say_v better_o be_v a_o poor_a child_n that_o be_v wise_a than_o a_o old_a king_n which_o be_v a_o fool_n and_o know_v not_o to_o be_v admonish_v and_o to_o show_v how_o unâ—esistablie_o this_o fool_n cast_v himself_o â—owne_n or_o how_o little_a those_o thing_n shall_v â—elpe_v namely_o his_o year_n of_o experience_n â—is_n riches_n honour_n and_o power_n he_o set_v â—ne_a that_o want_v all_o these_o in_o better_a case_n for_o a_o poor_a child_n have_v not_o experience_n he_o â—anteth_v power_n for_o both_o tender_a age_n and_o poverty_n bring_v contempt_n he_o have_v nothing_o â—ut_v wisdom_n and_o that_o wisdom_n but_o of_o a_o â—ild_n yet_o be_v he_o better_v they_o the_o other_o thus_o be_v we_o teach_v what_o mischief_n headstrong_a folly_n do_v carry_v with_o it_o but_o i_o must_v here_o make_v the_o matter_n a_o little_a plain_o it_o will_v be_v say_v what_o be_v this_o to_o declare_v the_o vanity_n of_o life_n present_a we_o shall_v seldom_o find_v such_o a_o king_n and_o if_o it_o fall_v out_o oftenner_a yet_o do_v it_o touch_v but_o a_o few_o i_o answer_v first_o that_o when_o this_o be_v a_o king_n all_o the_o whole_a realm_n do_v smart_a for_o it_o a_o wise_a king_n be_v a_o great_a blessing_n unto_o all_o his_o subject_n on_o the_o contrary_a such_o a_o fool_n as_o be_v here_o describe_v to_o be_v wilful_a and_o not_o know_v to_o be_v admonish_v by_o wise_a counsellor_n do_v not_o only_o harm_v himself_o but_o wrap_v all_o his_o kingdom_n in_o calamity_n great_a man_n draw_v many_o with_o they_o they_o fall_v not_o alone_o second_o i_o answer_v mean_v such_o as_o be_v wilful_a thus_o we_o see_v how_o it_o conclude_v all_o sort_n of_o man_n that_o be_v addict_v to_o their_o own_o will_n and_o be_v so_o wise_a in_o their_o own_o eye_n that_o they_o will_v not_o be_v counsel_v now_o let_v we_o see_v the_o difference_n between_o they_o by_o which_o be_v lay_v open_a the_o harm_n which_o he_o do_v to_o himself_o the_o one_o he_o say_v which_o be_v the_o poor_a child_n come_v out_o of_o prison_n to_o reign_v also_o the_o other_o that_o be_v the_o king_n which_o be_v a_o fool_n and_o know_v not_o to_o be_v admonish_v be_v bear_v poor_a in_o his_o kingdom_n here_o be_v wonderful_a difference_n the_o one_o out_o of_o poverty_n and_o affliction_n rise_v up_o into_o princely_a estate_n the_o other_o do_v fall_v down_o from_o his_o dignity_n and_o power_n into_o calamity_n we_o have_v example_n of_o this_o in_o holy_a scripture_n poor_a joseph_n be_v sell_v for_o a_o bond_n man_n he_o be_v cast_v into_o prison_n and_o from_o thence_o he_o be_v lift_v up_o to_o be_v ruler_n over_o all_o egypt_n sedekiah_n do_v not_o humble_v himself_o before_o jeremie_n the_o prophet_n at_o the_o mouth_n of_o the_o lord_n 2._o chron._n 36._o and_o therefore_o he_o be_v cast_v down_o all_o wilful_a fool_n be_v not_o king_n or_o prince_n and_o so_o can_v not_o fall_v so_o high_a but_o miserable_a be_v the_o plague_n if_o we_o behold_v they_o among_o the_o child_n of_o man_n which_o be_v wrought_v by_o wilful_a conceit_a fool_n it_o be_v a_o common_a sickness_n every_o man_n almost_o be_v wise_a and_o many_o be_v so_o see_v thou_o a_o man_n that_o be_v wise_a in_o his_o own_o conceit_n there_o be_v more_o hope_n of_o a_o fool_n then_o of_o he_o the_o see_v he_o leave_v little_a hope_n of_o a_o fool_n when_o bray_a a_o man_n to_o be_v wise_a in_o his_o own_o eye_n there_o be_v many_o of_o these_o fool_n which_o be_v crafty_a fool_n they_o be_v deep_a in_o fetch_n suspicious_a vainglorious_a and_o proud_a it_o be_v not_o possible_a with_o word_n to_o express_v what_o inconvenience_n and_o plague_n these_o bring_v unto_o country_n town_n and_o family_n where_o they_o bear_v sway_v you_o shall_v see_v they_o like_a unto_o unbrideled_a colt_n it_o be_v no_o marvel_n though_o solomon_n do_v behold_v these_o and_o bring_v they_o in_o as_o a_o part_n of_o the_o plague_n which_o be_v under_o the_o sun_n there_o be_v a_o innumerable_a rabblement_n of_o idle_a fool_n which_o fold_v up_o their_o hand_n and_o eat_v their_o own_o flesh_n there_o be_v many_o miser_n which_o turmoil_v without_o end_n to_o heap_v up_o riches_n for_o they_o can_v not_o tell_v who_o they_o pinch_v their_o own_o belly_n there_o be_v also_o as_o we_o may_v well_o perceive_v if_o we_o look_v upon_o the_o quarrel_n in_o law_n and_o contention_n among_o society_n and_o company_n that_o there_o be_v also_o very_a many_o conceit_a fool_n all_o be_v full_a of_o fool_n the_o whole_a world_n be_v trouble_v with_o fool_n if_o there_o be_v mo_z sort_n they_o be_v not_o here_o mention_v because_o these_o three_o be_v sufficient_a to_o be_v bring_v forth_o upon_o the_o stage_n learn_v out_o of_o this_o place_n a_o necessary_a lesson_n when_o you_o be_v to_o choose_v any_o to_o bearâ—_n office_n of_o government_n either_o alone_a or_o together_o with_o other_o take_v heed_n that_o you_o make_v not_o choice_n of_o such_o fool_n that_o be_v of_o such_o as_o be_v wise_a in_o their_o own_o estimation_n such_o man_n will_v trouble_v all_o the_o more_o wit_n they_o have_v the_o more_o dangerous_a you_o shall_v find_v
