myself_o of_o all_o the_o most_o unprofitable_a when_o as_o the_o lord_n may_v utter_o and_o yet_o justly_o have_v supplant_v i_o he_o have_v in_o mercy_n only_o remoove_v i_o that_o i_o may_v hereafter_o labour_v which_o have_v as_o yet_o but_o loiter_v in_o his_o harvest_n the_o lord_n in_o mercy_n lie_v not_o my_o negligence_n to_o my_o charge_n now_o when_o as_o by_o your_o lordship_n mean_n and_o appointment_n i_o be_v place_v where_o i_o be_o for_o the_o build_n up_o of_o the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o this_o city_n i_o think_v it_o most_o convenient_a first_o to_o lay_v this_o foundation_n of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n that_o so_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o building_n may_v go_v the_o better_a forward_o the_o which_o as_o my_o first_o fruit_n i_o have_v presume_v to_o present_v unto_o your_o lordship_n for_o two_o especial_a cause_n first_o that_o hereby_o i_o may_v witness_v my_o thankful_a mind_n to_o your_o l._n for_o the_o exercise_n of_o my_o ministry_n &_o the_o ministry_n of_o my_o brethren_n in_o our_o place_n which_o we_o enjoy_v under_o your_o l._n government_n and_o beside_o that_o which_o i_o may_v in_o no_o wise_n forget_v that_o favour_n which_o you_o show_v i_o which_o as_o it_o be_v altogether_o undeserued_a and_o unlooked_v for_o so_o it_o be_v not_o as_o some_o have_v untrue_o report_v conditional_a but_o only_o with_o desire_n that_o i_o may_v employ_v my_o endeavour_n to_o the_o lord_n great_a advantage_n in_o feed_v his_o people_n commit_v to_o your_o care_n &_o over_o sight_n with_o doctrine_n most_o necessary_a for_o that_o people_n second_o that_o your_o lo._n may_v rest_v satisfy_v concern_v some_o complaint_n which_o have_v be_v offer_v by_o certain_a underminer_n touch_v the_o confirmation_n of_o some_o point_n herein_o contain_v and_o thus_o leave_v my_o present_a endeavour_n to_o your_o lordship_n due_a consideration_n i_o humble_o take_v my_o leave_n the_o lord_n almighty_a grant_v increase_v and_o continuance_n of_o your_o godly_a care_n over_o that_o people_n which_o jesus_n christ_n the_o great_a shepherd_n of_o the_o flock_n have_v buy_v with_o his_o blood_n and_o commit_v to_o your_o charge_n so_o that_o in_o the_o great_a day_n of_o account_n you_o may_v be_v free_a from_o all_o their_o blood_n &_o receive_v that_o crown_n of_o righteousness_n and_o immortal_a joy_n which_o shall_v then_o be_v give_v to_o all_o that_o have_v fight_v a_o good_a fight_n and_o have_v keep_v the_o faith_n in_o a_o good_a conscience_n unto_o the_o end_n amen_n your_o lordship_n always_o to_o either_o not_o to_o know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n at_o all_o or_o else_o not_o to_o know_v what_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o god_n who_o we_o ought_v to_o serve_v most_o man_n will_v confess_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n but_o what_o manner_n of_o god_n he_o be_v they_o can_v tell_v and_o therefore_o while_o they_o frame_v unto_o themselves_o a_o god_n after_o their_o own_o blind_a affection_n they_o make_v a_o idol_n of_o the_o true_a god_n &_o according_a to_o that_o conceit_n which_o they_o have_v of_o he_o they_o lead_v all_o their_o whole_a life_n that_o the_o ignorance_n of_o god_n and_o his_o nature_n be_v the_o principal_a cause_n of_o all_o ungodliness_n in_o this_o life_n and_o of_o everlasting_a condemnation_n after_o this_o life_n it_o do_v manifest_o appear_v not_o only_o by_o the_o testimony_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n but_o also_o by_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n itself_o the_o scripture_n be_v plain_a in_o this_o case_n first_o 10.4_o the_o prophet_n david_n paint_v out_o a_o notorious_a wicked_a man_n say_v this_o of_o he_o the_o wicked_a be_v so_o proud_a that_o he_o seek_v not_o for_o god_n he_o think_v always_o there_o be_v no_o god_n now_o mark_v his_o life_n in_o the_o seven_o verse_n his_o mouth_n be_v full_a of_o curse_v deceit_n and_o fraud_n under_o his_o tongue_n be_v mischief_n and_o iniquity_n 8._o he_o lie_v in_o the_o village_n in_o the_o secret_a place_n do_v he_o murder_v the_o innocent_a his_o eye_n be_v bend_v against_o the_o poor_a etc._n etc._n read_v the_o 11.12.13_o and_o 14._o verse_n to_o be_v of_o god_n be_v a_o similitude_n of_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o may_v be_v if_o he_o will_v which_o he_o must_v needs_o know_v for_o he_o do_v most_o perfect_o know_v himself_o and_o thus_o if_o we_o consider_v his_o power_n or_o almighty_a essence_n all_o thing_n shall_v be_v do_v which_o he_o can_v do_v and_o do_v know_v q._n then_o whether_o be_v his_o knowledge_n and_o power_n the_o of_o god_n 4.13_o and_o therefore_o his_o knowledge_n can_v any_o way_n be_v deceive_v objection_n but_o thing_n do_v often_o change_n and_o alter_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v not_o always_o as_o they_o be_v know_v answer_n a._n although_o thing_n be_v change_v and_o alter_v yet_o god_n do_v know_v thereof_o and_o although_o they_o change_v and_o alter_v yet_o his_o knowledge_n do_v never_o
