purpose_n in_o book_n of_o controversy_n against_o all_o the_o profess_a enemy_n of_o the_o gospel_n this_o study_n also_o have_v not_o the_o like_a fruit_n in_o all_o sort_n of_o people_n for_o howsoever_o some_o profit_n much_o this_o way_n the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o the_o confutation_n of_o all_o the_o adversary_n of_o the_o gospel_n yet_o in_o very_a many_o these_o book_n help_v little_a to_o godliness_n but_o rather_o fill_v the_o head_n and_o heart_n of_o man_n with_o a_o spirit_n of_o contradiction_n and_o contention_n as_o our_o common_a experience_n daily_o teach_v us._n this_o good_a servant_n of_o christ_n in_o all_o these_o work_n do_v not_o only_o teach_v and_o inform_v the_o mind_n in_o sundry_a argument_n handle_v in_o this_o volume_n concern_v truth_n and_o observer_n of_o the_o sabbath_n of_o careless_a governor_n careful_a governor_n of_o disobedient_a obedient_a of_o cruel_a meek_a of_o unchaste_a chaste_a person_n of_o unrighteous_a righteous_a person_n of_o evil_a speaker_n coverer_n of_o the_o infirmity_n of_o other_o of_o such_o as_o have_v let_v their_o thought_n run_v uncontrolled_a careful_a watcher_n even_o over_o our_o least_o affection_n the_o want_n of_o the_o knowledge_n hereof_o be_v punish_v by_o the_o devilish_a vermin_n of_o the_o family_n of_o love_n they_o say_v christ_n in_o they_o be_v their_o new_a birth_n we_o and_o old_a age_n even_o so_o in_o the_o spiritual_a birth_n we_o grow_v from_o strength_n to_o strength_n from_o measure_n to_o measure_n until_o we_o come_v to_o perfection_n our_o wisdom_n be_v often_o captivate_v our_o faith_n be_v often_o weak_a our_o righteousness_n be_v often_o defile_v our_o holiness_n be_v often_o corrupt_v now_o as_o in_o the_o cross_n of_o christ_n our_o sin_n be_v
