those_o who_o be_v draw_v up_o to_o the_o father_n through_o the_o son_n by_o a_o power_n above_o themselves_o who_o be_v know_v and_o belove_v of_o god_n from_o everlasting_a the_o father_n give_v forth_o his_o son_n as_o a_o public_a person_n make_v satisfaction_n to_o the_o law_n of_o transgression_n that_o all_o mankind_n may_v be_v bring_v under_o the_o tender_a of_o the_o gospel_n that_o so_o upon_o believe_v they_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o both_o the_o first_o covenant_n and_o transgression_n no_o man_n be_v indeed_o deliver_v from_o either_o but_o by_o believe_v all_o man_n remain_v in_o the_o first_o adam_n and_o so_o under_o the_o law_n of_o transgression_n in_o the_o spririt_n unless_o believer_n christ_n have_v purchase_v a_o eternal_a salvation_n but_o keep_v it_o in_o his_o own_o hand_n and_o dispense_v it_o in_o the_o spirit_n to_o those_o to_o who_o god_n give_v heart_n to_o receive_v both_o he_o and_o it_o so_o now_o nothing_o hinder_v the_o salvation_n of_o any_o man_n with_o relation_n to_o christ_n a_o saviour_n or_o deliverer_n from_o the_o transgression_n and_o sin_n of_o the_o first_o adam_n on_o god_n part_n external_o all_o partake_v of_o it_o internal_o only_o believer_n he_o be_v the_o saviour_n of_o all_o but_o espeacial_o of_o they_o that_o believe_v and_o nothing_o on_o god_n part_n hinder_v the_o eternal_a salvation_n of_o all_o with_o relation_n to_o the_o purchase_n or_o price_n pay_v but_o only_o on_o god_n part_n his_o eternal_a purpose_n to_o draw_v up_o some_o into_o union_n with_o himself_o in_o his_o son_n and_o leave_v other_o to_o believe_v if_o they_o will_v or_o can_v and_o from_o hence_o on_o the_o creature_n part_n be_v thus_o leave_v only_o a_o christ_n tender_v able_a to_o save_v they_o if_o they_o believe_v they_o be_v leave_v of_o god_n have_v neither_o will_n skill_n nor_o power_n to_o believe_v perish_v everlasting_o under_o the_o reject_v of_o the_o gospel_n object_n it_o seem_v to_o be_v injustice_n in_o god_n to_o condemn_v the_o sin_n of_o all_o upon_o christ_n and_o yet_o to_o condemn_v it_o upon_o the_o sinner_n too_o answ_n 1._o it_o be_v as_o easy_a for_o christ_n be_v thereunto_o appoint_v of_o the_o father_n to_o make_v satisfaction_n to_o the_o law_n of_o transgression_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o all_o as_o one_o such_o be_v his_o excellent_a worth_n second_o the_o spiritual_a and_o eternal_a part_n of_o it_o remain_v still_o with_o god_n in_o christ_n and_o be_v hand_v forth_o to_o none_o but_o believer_n and_o of_o it_o remain_v that_o there_o be_v no_o injustice_n in_o god_n to_o put_v such_o a_o worth_n in_o the_o suffering_n of_o his_o son_n that_o it_o be_v able_a to_o satisfy_v the_o law_n of_o transgression_n for_o all_o and_o able_a to_o save_v all_o that_o come_v to_o god_n by_o he_o and_o yet_o to_o condemn_v sin_n even_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o first_o as_o well_o as_o the_o reject_v of_o the_o second_o adam_n in_o all_o those_o that_o refuse_v he_o see_v his_o eternal_a purpose_n in_o all_o be_v the_o set_v forth_o of_o his_o son_n as_o a_o maker_n that_o so_o there_o may_v be_v a_o visible_a ground_n upon_o which_o the_o belove_a of_o god_n may_v accept_v of_o peace_n and_o so_o come_v to_o enjoy_v that_o invisible_a union_n with_o the_o father_n in_o the_o spirit_n which_o he_o from_o eternity_n intend_v and_o likewise_o that_o there_o may_v be_v a_o visible_a rule_n of_o reject_v all_o who_o wilful_o contemn_v their_o own_o peace_n and_o so_o judge_v themselves_o unworthy_a of_o eternal_a life_n quest_n do_v christ_n purchase_v life_n and_o love_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o father_n answ_n nay_o he_o do_v not_o purchase_v life_n and_o love_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o father_n but_o be_v a_o gift_n flow_v forth_o from_o the_o father_n love_n the_o death_n of_o christ_n be_v not_o the_o cause_n efficient_a either_o of_o life_n or_o love_n but_o love_n in_o god_n be_v the_o efficient_a cause_n of_o the_o come_n forth_o and_o suffer_v of_o christ_n joh_n 3.16_o god_n so_o love_v the_o world_n that_o he_o give_v his_o son_n qu._n in_o what_o sense_n then_o may_v christ_n be_v say_v to_o deliver_v from_o wrath_n 1_o thes_n 1.10_o and_o to_o purchase_v his_o church_n with_o his_o blood_n act_v 20.28_o answ_n 1._o he_o deliver_v from_o wrath_n in_o a_o twofold_a consideration_n first_o from_o that_o wrath_n and_o justice_n of_o god_n go_v forth_o in_o a_o righteous_a law_n it_o be_v break_v wrath_n be_v go_v forth_o upon_o all_o because_o god_n be_v truth_n and_o so_o in_o the_o letter_n wrath_n be_v go_v forth_o upon_o all_o through_o adam_n transgression_n and_o so_o all_o unbeliever_n in_o that_o sense_n be_v under_o wrath_n and_o there_o remain_v eternal_o if_o not_o deliver_v john_n the_o 3.2_o they_o be_v deliver_v from_o wrath_n with_o relation_n to_o their_o apprehension_n never_o any_o soul_n come_v save_o to_o christ_n but_o the_o first_o make_v he_o sensible_a of_o a_o estate_n of_o wrath_n and_o so_o every_o believer_n may_v true_o say_v they_o be_v once_o child_n of_o wrath_n that_o be_v in_o a_o estate_n of_o wrath_n under_o the_o law_n of_o transgression_n and_o so_o be_v deliver_v from_o wrath_n to_o come_v because_o if_o god_n have_v not_o from_o everlasting_a receive_v they_o into_o the_o number_n of_o those_o write_v in_o heaven_n they_o must_v likewise_o have_v endure_v wrath_n to_o come_v second_o he_o purchase_v his_o church_n with_o his_o blood_n and_o so_o salvation_n for_o they_o under_o two_o consideration_n 1._o he_o purchase_v his_o church_n from_o the_o law_n of_o transgression_n god_n have_v say_v in_o the_o day_n that_o thou_o eat_v thereof_o thou_o shall_v die_v man_n eat_v and_o so_o shall_v have_v dye_v eternal_o have_v not_o god_n provide_v such_o a_o remedy_n therefore_o he_o give_v his_o son_n to_o purchase_v man_n from_o that_o condition_n 2._o he_o purchase_v his_o with_o his_o blood_n from_o wrath_n and_o condemnation_n in_o their_o own_o apprehension_n man_n be_v sensible_a of_o his_o lose_a condition_n must_v have_v something_o to_o satisfy_v his_o conscience_n therefore_o likewise_o the_o father_n give_v christ_n and_o in_o both_o these_o not_o as_o the_o first_o and_o move_a cause_n of_o any_o thing_n in_o god_n but_o god_n out_o of_o his_o love_n give_v forth_o his_o son_n to_o
