you_o that_o forget_v god_n nay_o you_o that_o forget_v yourselves_o lest_o he_o pluck_v you_o away_o and_o there_o be_v none_o to_o deliver_v you_o psal._n 50._o 22._o 10._o but_o i_o tell_v you_o there_o be_v a_o second_o way_n whereby_o a_o thing_n may_v be_v in_o danger_n and_o that_o be_v from_o some_o disorder_n or_o distemper_n within_o itself_o this_o be_v often_o the_o case_n of_o our_o body_n disease_v that_o do_v not_o right_o perform_v their_o office_n we_o account_v it_o a_o sick_a palate_n that_o taste_v not_o aright_o a_o sick_a stomach_n that_o digest_v not_o and_o thus_o it_o be_v with_o the_o soul_n its_o part_n do_v not_o right_o perform_v their_o office_n 11._o the_o part_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v especial_o these_o three_o the_o understanding_n the_o will_n and_o the_o affection_n and_o that_o these_o be_v disorder_v there_o needs_o little_a proof_n let_v any_o man_n look_v serious_o into_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o consider_v how_o little_a it_o be_v he_o know_v of_o spiritual_a thing_n and_o then_o tell_v i_o whether_o his_o understanding_n be_v not_o dark_a how_o much_o apt_a be_v he_o to_o will_v evil_a then_o good_a and_o then_o â—ell_v i_o whether_o his_o will_n be_v not_o crooked_a and_o how_o strong_a desire_n he_o have_v after_o the_o pleasure_n of_o sin_n and_o what_o cold_a and_o faint_a one_o towards_o god_n and_o goodness_n and_o then_o tell_v i_o whether_o his_o affection_n be_v not_o disorder_v and_o rebellious_a even_o against_o the_o vice_n of_o his_o own_o reason_n within_o he_o now_o as_o in_o bodily_a disease_n the_o first_o step_n to_o the_o cure_n be_v to_o know_v the_o cause_n of_o the_o sickness_n so_o likewise_o here_o it_o be_v very_o necessary_a for_o we_o to_o know_v how_o the_o soul_n first_o fall_v into_o this_o disease_a condition_n and_o that_o i_o shall_v now_o brief_o tell_v you_o 12._o god_n create_v the_o first_o man_n adam_n without_o sin_n covenant_n and_o endue_v his_o soul_n with_o the_o full_a knowledge_n of_o his_o duty_n and_o with_o such_o a_o strength_n that_o he_o may_v if_o he_o will_v perform_v all_o that_o be_v require_v of_o he_o have_v thus_o create_v he_o he_o make_v a_o covenant_n or_o agreement_n with_o he_o to_o this_o purpose_n that_o if_o he_o continue_v in_o obedience_n to_o god_n without_o commit_v sin_n then_o first_o that_o strength_n of_o soul_n which_o he_o let_v he_o i_o say_v remember_v these_o together_o with_o those_o many_o other_o mean_n god_n have_v use_v towards_o he_o for_o the_o same_o end_n and_o he_o will_v have_v reason_n to_o confess_v god_n kindness_n not_o only_o to_o man_n soul_n in_o general_a but_o to_o his_o own_o in_o particular_a 31._o neither_o have_v he_o be_v want_v to_o our_o body_n all_o the_o good_a thing_n they_o enjoy_v as_o health_n strength_n food_n raiment_n and_o whatever_o else_o concern_v they_o be_v mere_o his_o gift_n so_o that_o indeed_o it_o be_v impossible_a we_o shall_v be_v ignorant_a of_o his_o mercy_n to_o they_o all_o those_o outward_a comfort_n and_o refreshmet_n we_o daily_o enjoy_v be_v continual_a effect_n and_o witness_n of_o it_o and_o though_o some_o enjoy_v more_o of_o these_o than_o other_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o person_n but_o enjoy_v so_o much_o in_o one_o kind_n or_o other_o as_o abundant_o show_v god_n mercy_n and_o kindness_n to_o he_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o body_n 32._o and_o now_o sure_o you_o will_v think_v it_o but_o reasonable_a we_o shall_v love_v he_o who_o be_v in_o all_o respect_n thus_o lovely_a indeed_o this_o be_v a_o duty_n so_o general_o
