spiritual_a and_o celestial_a the_o renovation_n of_o the_o will_n be_v when_o god_n give_v a_o man_n grace_n true_o to_o will_v good_a as_o to_o believe_v honour_n fear_v and_o obey_v god_n the_o sanctification_n of_o the_o memory_n be_v a_o aptness_n by_o grace_n to_o keep_v and_o to_o be_v mindful_a of_o good_a thing_n especial_o of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o our_o salvation_n and_o such_o like_a the_o regeneration_n of_o the_o conscience_n be_v when_o it_o be_v fit_v to_o give_v true_a testimony_n to_o a_o man_n heart_n of_o the_o remission_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o of_o the_o carefulness_n of_o his_o care_n to_o serve_v god_n and_o to_o do_v other_o good_a duty_n concern_v our_o christian_a brethren_n it_o consist_v also_o in_o the_o spiritual_a transformation_n of_o the_o affection_n as_o joy_n love_n sadness_n fear_n anger_n and_o such_o like_a whereby_o a_o man_n that_o be_v justify_v do_v so_o temper_v they_o by_o his_o reason_n refine_v and_o by_o the_o light_n of_o the_o law_n with_o the_o help_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n that_o they_o do_v not_o break_v out_o as_o in_o the_o wicked_a that_o give_v the_o reins_n to_o their_o lust_n but_o be_v hold_v in_o some_o good_a order_n howbeit_o in_o this_o life_n this_o be_v not_o do_v without_o much_o strife_n and_o reluctation_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o spirit_n and_o be_v rather_o affect_v then_o effect_v here_o we_o must_v observe_v that_o sanctification_n do_v not_o alter_v the_o substance_n of_o man_n but_o only_o his_o corrupt_a and_o sinful_a quality_n it_o rectifi_v affection_n but_o abolish_v they_o not_o it_o correct_v and_o moderate_v mirth_n sorrow_n anger_n and_o such_o humane_a passion_n but_o take_v they_o not_o quite_o away_o it_o tune_v the_o jar_a string_n of_o a_o man_n heart_n examine_v their_o faith_n and_o compare_v their_o faith_n and_o their_o work_n together_o that_o their_o work_n be_v good_a those_o work_n may_v justify_v their_o faith_n to_o be_v a_o live_n and_o know_v by_o his_o fruit_n and_o as_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o gather_v grape_n of_o thorn_n or_o fig_n of_o thistle_n even_o so_o be_v our_o faith_n judge_v by_o our_o work_n and_o so_o it_o be_v impossible_a that_o good_a work_n shall_v proceed_v from_o a_o evil_a faith_n or_o that_o a_o good_a faith_n shall_v not_o produce_v good_a work_n good_a work_n be_v a_o necessary_a dependence_n upon_o a_o good_a faith_n this_o aught_o to_o provoke_v all_o man_n to_o a_o emulation_n of_o godly_a exercise_n to_o contend_v to_o exceed_v in_o holy_a action_n and_o to_o square_v and_o fashion_v all_o their_o work_n by_o their_o faith_n note_n note_n and_o to_o make_v every_o act_n of_o they_o a_o testimony_n that_o they_o be_v true_o faithful_a for_o he_o that_o be_v not_o with_o we_o be_v against_o we_o and_o those_o work_n of_o we_o that_o witness_v not_o for_o we_o will_v be_v witness_n against_o we_o and_o will_v condemn_v we_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o all_o man_n that_o our_o faith_n be_v not_o good_a or_o not_o at_o all_o and_o that_o therefore_o we_o be_v not_o justify_v neither_o can_v be_v save_v this_o may_v judge_v all_o those_o action_n of_o man_n that_o disproportion_n a_o good_a faith_n and_o a_o good_a conscience_n for_o though_o man_n flatter_v themselves_o and_o promise_v peace_n to_o their_o soul_n and_o think_v to_o be_v justify_v and_o save_v by_o a_o bare_a acknowledgement_n of_o god_n and_o their_o common_a historical_a faith_n yet_o in_o a_o time_n when_o they_o think_v not_o on_o it_o note_n note_n their_o ungodly_a work_n will_v
