write_v to_o they_o before_o in_o 1_o cor._n 5.9_o where_o he_o so_o press_v they_o from_o have_v any_o communion_n or_o fellowship_n with_o any_o unclean_a person_n in_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n that_o they_o understand_v he_o to_o condemn_v also_o civil_a commerce_n with_o the_o world_n upon_o which_o they_o question_v the_o lawful_a retain_v of_o their_o unbelieved_a husband_n and_o wife_n &_o that_o near_a relation_n of_o husband_n and_o wife_n in_o their_o civil_a commerce_n they_o write_v to_o the_o apostle_n for_o information_n 1_o cor._n 7.1_o and_o question_v not_o their_o child_n whereby_o it_o appear_v they_o hold_v it_o lawful_a to_o retain_v their_o child_n to_o which_o the_o apostle_n answer_v from_o a_o double_a ground_n thus_o 1._o in_o that_o all_o thing_n be_v say_v point_n in_o hand_n the_o apostle_n have_v sufficient_o clear_v both_o his_o own_o meaning_n and_o the_o corinthian_n scruple_n touch_v their_o civil_a society_n with_o their_o unbelieved_a yoak-fellowe_n in_o expound_v himself_o not_o to_o forbid_v they_o communion_n with_o the_o fornicator_n or_o idolater_n of_o this_o world_n but_o of_o the_o church_n whence_o it_o clear_o appear_v that_o their_o unbelieved_a yoak-fellowe_n be_v not_o of_o the_o church_n but_o of_o the_o world_n it_o be_v no_o part_n of_o the_o apostle_n meaning_n in_o his_o former_a or_o latter_a letter_n to_o forbid_v they_o communion_n with_o their_o unbelieved_a yoak-fellowe_n so_o that_o if_o the_o scruple_n of_o the_o corinthiane_fw-la have_v spring_v from_o the_o mistake_n of_o the_o apostle_n former_a letter_n the_o apostle_n have_v there_o full_o clear_v his_o own_o meaning_n and_o withal_o remove_v their_o scruple_n there_o need_v no_o more_o word_n of_o it_o again_o here_o it_o seem_v therefore_o much_o more_o probable_a that_o their_o scruple_n arise_v from_o that_o other_o place_n which_o you_o mention_v ezra_n 10._o where_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v charge_v to_o separate_v themselves_o from_o the_o people_n of_o the_o land_n and_o from_o their_o strange_a wife_n which_o charge_n they_o obey_v also_o and_o fulfil_v but_o if_o their_o scruple_n spring_v from_o that_o place_n than_o the_o corinthian_n have_v as_o just_a occasion_n to_o scruple_n the_o keep_n of_o their_o child_n which_o they_o have_v by_o these_o wife_n as_o the_o keep_n of_o their_o wife_n for_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o that_o chapter_n of_o ezra_n make_v a_o holy_a covenant_n with_o god_n to_o put_v away_o not_o only_o their_o strange_a wife_n but_o their_o child_n also_o which_o be_v but_o rather_o give_v he_o a_o pure_a and_o sanctify_a use_n both_o of_o his_o marriage_n and_o of_o his_o yokefellow_n but_o the_o apostle_n do_v not_o here_o give_v for_o a_o ground_n thereof_o the_o purity_n of_o all_o thing_n to_o a_o believer_n though_o he_o may_v have_v give_v it_o for_o a_o just_a ground_n thereof_o but_o the_o only_a ground_n which_o in_o this_o text_n he_o give_v of_o
