wrap_v in_o wickedness_n as_o in_o a_o garment_n it_o can_v not_o be_v but_o we_o must_v hate_v he_o and_o why_o because_o here_o be_v no_o question_n of_o some_o bare_a nature_n &_o be_v neither_o aught_o we_o to_o imagine_v god_n as_o a_o idol_n but_o we_o must_v comprehend_v he_o in_o his_o justice_n it_o than_o we_o shall_v hate_v this_o which_o be_v in_o god_n that_o be_v to_o say_v his_o justice_n &_o uprightness_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v that_o we_o hate_v he_o also_o for_o he_o can_v not_o deny_v himself_o he_o can_v be_v disguise_v he_o can_v be_v transfigure_v after_o our_o fancy_n he_o always_o abide_v like_o himself_o so_o then_o as_o i_o have_v already_o touch_v all_o they_o which_o love_n god_n they_o fail_v not_o to_o be_v obedient_a to_o his_o law_n they_o cease_v not_o to_o observe_v and_o keep_v his_o commandment_n for_o these_o thing_n be_v knit_v together_o and_o be_v inseparable_a and_o this_o we_o have_v to_o bear_v in_o mind_n upon_o this_o place_n now_o here_o hence_o we_o be_v to_o take_v a_o warning_n that_o we_o have_v in_o great_a horror_n than_o we_o be_v wont_v to_o have_v all_o rebellion_n all_o sin_n and_o offence_n for_o it_o be_v no_o small_a thing_n to_o be_v proclaim_v the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o to_o make_v open_a war_n with_o he_o now_o it_o be_v so_o that_o we_o can_v turn_v ourselves_o from_o he_o nor_o cast_v off_o his_o yoke_n but_o we_o shall_v be_v convict_v to_o have_v be_v his_o enemy_n and_o to_o have_v wage_v open_a battle_n with_o he_o and_o lo_o be_v not_o this_o a_o execrable_a thing_n let_v we_o therefore_o learn_v to_o have_v our_o sin_n and_o offence_n in_o horror_n and_o detestation_n forasmuch_o as_o by_o they_o we_o be_v accuse_v to_o be_v the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o that_o he_o also_o must_v keep_v his_o commandment_n it_o behove_v then_o that_o our_o life_n be_v answerable_a in_o this_o behalf_n and_o that_o it_o bear_v witness_v whether_o we_o love_v god_n or_o whether_o we_o hate_v he_o for_o the_o rest_n which_o follow_v it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n that_o god_n make_v comparison_n of_o his_o wrath_n and_o vengeance_n with_o his_o favour_n and_o mercy_n say_v that_o he_o will_v punish_v they_o that_o hate_v he_o to_o the_o third_o and_o four_o generation_n and_o that_o he_o will_v show_v mercy_n to_o they_o that_o love_v he_o in_o a_o thousand_o generation_n for_o by_o this_o he_o declare_v that_o which_o be_v better_o and_o more_o folly_n express_v in_o other_o sentence_n of_o the_o scripture_n that_o be_v that_o he_o be_v slow_a to_o anger_n great_o incline_v to_o compassion_n and_o pity_n 8._o that_o he_o be_v patient_a &_o of_o long_a suffering_n 5._o that_o his_o anger_n endure_v but_o a_o while_n that_o his_o mercy_n be_v to_o life_n &_o endure_v for_o ever_o you_o see_v then_o the_o true_a nature_n of_o god_n that_o be_v that_o he_o desire_v nothing_o more_o than_o to_o draw_v man_n unto_o he_o by_o all_o lenity_n and_o gentleness_n and_o to_o use_v his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n towards_o they_o when_o he_o punish_v they_o this_o be_v as_o it_o be_v against_o his_o nature_n not_o but_o that_o it_o be_v agreeable_a to_o god_n aswell_o to_o punish_v as_o to_o show_v mercy_n but_o he_o will_v show_v we_o that_o his_o goodness_n be_v much_o more_o great_a and_o brief_o that_o he_o be_v not_o sharp_a and_o rigorous_a but_o desirous_a to_o allure_v we_o to_o bear_v he_o the_o love_n and_o reverence_n which_o we_o owe_v unto_o he_o and_o he_o desire_v rather_o to_o win_v we_o by_o his_o gentleness_n than_o to_o restrain_v we_o by_o his_o threaten_n you_o see_v then_o in_o what_o sort_n he_o speak_v my_o child_n think_v not_o that_o i_o will_v deal_v rough_o with_o you_o it_o be_v true_a if_o you_o provoke_v i_o i_o shall_v not_o suffer_v that_o man_n make_v a_o sport_n and_o game_n of_o i_o but_o when_o i_o have_v declare_v my_o anger_n i_o desire_v yet_o rather_o to_o train_v you_o and_o win_v you_o to_o myself_o by_o sort_n that_o they_o may_v not_o boast_v of_o their_o work_v as_o if_o they_o be_v worthy_a of_o reward_n and_o payment_n but_o rather_o know_v that_o god_n mean_v to_o declare_v by_o this_o that_o when_o we_o serve_v he_o the_o best_a that_o we_o can_v we_o have_v always_o need_v to_o be_v bear_v withal_o of_o he_o and_o that_o he_o pardon_v we_o our_o vice_n and_o our_o infirmity_n thus_o be_v there_o two_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v to_o note_v in_o this_o place_n 11._o the_o one_o be_v that_o although_o we_o shall_v serve_v god_n in_o all_o purity_n if_o he_o recompense_v we_o it_o be_v not_o of_o any_o duty_n he_o owe_v unto_o we_o for_o in_o deed_n from_o whence_o come_v this_o that_o we_o have_v serve_v he_o but_o from_o his_o mere_a and_o only_a grace_n and_o what_o then_o may_v he_o owe_v we_o the_o other_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v all_o find_v guilty_a when_o it_o shall_v please_v he_o to_o examine_v we_o according_a to_o the_o exact_a measure_n of_o his_o justice_n so_o then_o in_o that_o god_n recompense_v we_o when_o we_o have_v serve_v he_o he_o do_v this_o for_o his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n and_o not_o that_o he_o be_v bind_v unto_o we_o nay_o which_o
