therefore_o to_o be_v contemn_v because_o some_o have_v abuse_v they_o and_o worship_v they_o as_o god_n so_o philosophy_n be_v not_o to_o be_v despise_v though_o it_o have_v error_n in_o it_o but_o what_o profit_n soever_o can_v be_v gather_v out_o of_o it_o the_o same_o be_v to_o be_v apply_v to_o the_o use_n of_o our_o life_n vain_a pleasure_n 1_o as_o pilgrim_n and_o stranger_n do_v not_o use_v to_o delight_v themselves_o with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o country_n whither_o they_o travel_v as_o stranger_n but_o so_o use_v they_o that_o they_o set_v not_o their_o heart_n on_o they_o but_o be_v ready_a and_o willing_a to_o leave_v they_o if_o it_o be_v to_o morrow_n so_o also_o must_v we_o be_v pilgrim_n hear_v on_o earth_n never_o set_v our_o heart_n or_o affection_n on_o the_o vain_a pleasure_n of_o this_o life_n but_o use_v this_o world_n as_o though_o we_o use_v it_o not_o 1._o pet._n 2.10_o 2_o even_o as_o there_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o tickle_v in_o the_o flesh_n which_o do_v diminish_v the_o other_o part_n of_o sanctification_n by_o the_o immoderate_a and_o unlawful_a seek_v and_o use_v of_o earthly_a pleasure_n keep_v of_o promise_n like_a as_o the_o mulberrie-tree_n be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o wise_a of_o all_o tree_n because_o it_o bud_v last_o of_o all_o and_o not_o till_o the_o cold_a be_v pass_v and_o bring_v forth_o fruit_n first_o which_o be_v ripe_a before_o the_o cold_a come_v again_o so_o we_o must_v be_v slow_a in_o promise_v and_o quick_a in_o perform_v pride_n make_v god_n to_o take_v his_o grace_n from_o we_o and_o to_o bestow_v most_o perfect_a &_o godly_a yea_o most_o divine_a and_o angelical_a the_o least_o pride_n that_o may_v be_v will_v whole_o corrupt_v it_o and_o make_v it_o worse_o and_o more_o imperfect_a then_o ever_o it_o be_v good_a 2_o as_o it_o be_v a_o lamentable_a thing_n to_o see_v a_o merchant_n after_o a_o long_a and_o prosperous_a navigation_n suffer_v shipwreck_n in_o the_o haven_n and_o loss_n
