cause_n and_o often_o end_v in_o a_o like_a effect_n viz._n a_o partial_a deluge_n or_o inundation_n of_o the_o place_n or_o country_n where_o they_o happen_v to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o though_o water_n other_o again_o by_o certain_a mouldering_n or_o foundering_n in_o certain_a cavern_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o other_o cause_n be_v assign_v for_o they_o last_o when_o the_o author_n come_v to_o the_o main_a difficulty_n as_o he_o call_v it_o viz._n the_o find_n of_o water_n sufficient_a to_o make_v a_o universal_a deluge_n which_o after_o some_o time_n shall_v so_o return_v into_o its_o channel_n that_o the_o earth_n shall_v become_v again_o habitable_a both_o which_o he_o say_v be_v as_o easy_o effect_v according_a to_o his_o explication_n set_v down_o before_o by_o i_o as_o they_o be_v impossible_a any_o other_o way_n i_o confess_v i_o great_o admire_v at_o this_o his_o assertion_n and_o the_o explanation_n he_o give_v for_o those_o effect_n the_o first_o thing_n we_o shall_v the_o present_a phoenomena_fw-la of_o the_o earth_n be_v solve_v consequential_o to_o it_o i_o see_v not_o why_o he_o shall_v be_v backward_o to_o assign_v we_o some_o possible_a proportion_n of_o his_o orb_n of_o earth_n and_o water_n in_o order_n to_o it_o unless_o which_o i_o can_v think_v he_o have_v rather_o involve_v man_n in_o erroneous_a thought_n by_o offer_v only_o unlimited_a on_o the_o disruption_n of_o his_o earth_n whereas_o he_o suppose_v only_o the_o rise_n of_o mountain_n a_o sea_n and_o the_o like_a by_o it_o the_o conception_n of_o which_o may_v admit_v of_o a_o latitude_n in_o some_o more_o tolerable_a way_n but_o all_o man_n will_v have_v just_o expect_v he_o shall_v have_v assign_v proportion_n to_o his_o orb_n and_o i_o be_o so_o far_o from_o think_v that_o any_o latitude_n assignable_a to_o proportion_n of_o such_o orb_n can_v be_v here_o admit_v that_o i_o be_o of_o opinion_n when_o any_o man_n shall_v assign_v any_o proportion_n whatsoever_o to_o a_o abyss_n orb_n for_o cause_v a_o deluge_n as_o the_o author_n propose_v i_o shall_v always_o be_v ready_a to_o show_v he_o either_o his_o abyss_n orb_n to_o be_v so_o shallow_a that_o the_o the_o abyss_n orb_n which_o lie_v under_o it_o we_o may_v judge_v they_o to_o be_v of_o equal_a content_n in_o their_o dimension_n as_o you_o may_v see_v in_o the_o scheme_n before_o give_v you_o and_o i_o believe_v a_o reader_n who_o shall_v peruse_v his_o book_n cursory_o not_o find_v the_o proportion_n of_o his_o two_o orb_n clear_o state_v and_o perhaps_o not_o mind_v the_o supposition_n i_o conceive_v the_o author_n whole_a hypothesis_n both_o according_a to_o the_o proportion_n he_o seem_v to_o have_v give_v to_o his_o orb_n in_o his_o scheme_n or_o to_o have_v otherwise_o
