satisfy_v god_n justice_n remove_v the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n due_a unto_o we_o sinner_n purchase_v pardon_n and_o life_n and_o yet_o that_o none_o shall_v have_v in_o or_o a_o actual_a right_n unto_o redemption_n from_o the_o curse_n special_a reconciliation_n with_o god_n pardon_v and_o salvation_n but_o such_o as_o true_o believe_v and_o therefore_o when_o they_o speak_v of_o be_v clothe_v with_o christ_n righteousness_n as_o a_o robe_n and_o garment_n i_o will_v think_v they_o mean_v no_o more_o but_o that_o it_o be_v this_o which_o be_v the_o screen_n or_o sanctuary_n to_o secure_v all_o true_a penitent_a believer_n from_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o law_n curse_v or_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n but_o then_o not_o this_o as_o it_o be_v the_o only_a righteousness_n of_o their_o person_n but_o as_o it_o be_v the_o proper_a and_o only_a righteousness_n of_o their_o mediator_n though_o the_o bless_a benefit_n hereof_o as_o be_v plain_a redound_v to_o their_o person_n and_o thus_o as_o it_o be_v for_o they_o to_o remove_v the_o great_a evil_n that_o be_v due_a and_o procure_v all_o save_a good_a so_o it_o be_v as_o i_o have_v above_o express_v it_o the_o formal_a satisfactory_a righteousness_n for_o their_o person_n by_o god_n imputation_n but_o then_o not_o the_o formal_a righteousness_n of_o their_o person_n be_v by_o god_n imputation_n i._n e._n god_n do_v for_o this_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n account_v they_o upon_o such_o a_o faith_n as_o i_o have_v above_o describe_v personal_o righteous_a in_o the_o sense_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o so_o to_o have_v interest_n in_o christ_n and_o a_o right_a to_o pardon_n and_o life_n promise_v but_o then_o not_o personal_o righteous_a with_o it_o seeing_z as_o i_o have_v say_v it_o can_v in_o itself_o after_o any_o sort_n be_v communicate_v to_o believer_n although_o it_o be_v in_o its_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n i_o think_v if_o this_o little_a which_o i_o have_v here_o insert_v be_v but_o well_o consider_v and_o our_o old_a divine_n thus_o understand_v the_o difference_n will_v not_o be_v great_a betwixt_o they_o and_o those_o that_o be_v call_v new_a upon_o the_o matter_n but_o the_o hold_v ungrounded_a notion_n from_o the_o manner_n of_o expression_n keep_v we_o far_o from_o a_o accommodation_n and_o if_o some_o man_n will_v stick_v by_o such_o notion_n the_o consequence_n we_o have_v collect_v from_o the_o very_a nature_n of_o the_o thing_n whether_o we_o will_v or_o no_o devolve_v upon_o they_o though_o as_o to_o such_o as_o be_v practical_a christian_n their_o practice_n as_o i_o have_v say_v must_v contradict_v such_o notion_n and_o agree_v with_o those_o very_o same_o i_o have_v lay_v down_o wherein_o through_o christ_n be_v their_o safety_n though_o yet_o hold_v such_o notion_n from_o whence_o such_o consequence_n flow_v i_o know_v from_o my_o own_o experience_n they_o must_v be_v attend_v with_o confusion_n and_o act_v but_o in_o the_o dark_a while_o yet_o they_o may_v think_v they_o have_v the_o great_a light_n for_o whatsoever_o the_o notion_n of_o a_o true_a practical_a holy_a christian_a be_v yet_o i_o be_o certain_a he_o dare_v not_o conclude_v his_o interest_n in_o or_o right_a unto_o christ_n pardon_v and_o life_n purchase_v by_o he_o any_o further_a than_o he_o have_v ground_n of_o hope_n that_o he_o be_v a_o true_a penitent_a sincere_a obedient_a believer_n and_o sure_o i_o be_o when_o he_o plead_v with_o god_n for_o pardon_n grace_n and_o acceptation_n he_o dare_v not_o plead_v as_o the_o merit_n of_o this_o any_o righteousness_n upon_o himself_o or_o wherewith_o he_o be_v formal_o personal_o righteous_a with_o christ_n righteousness_n yet_o he_o dare_v not_o plead_v this_o no_o but_o only_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o mediator_n jesus_n christ_n without_o he_o as_o the_o merit_n of_o pardon_n grace_n and_o acceptation_n and_o this_o include_v the_o whole_a that_o can_v come_v within_o a_o christian_n practice_n upon_o this_o matter_n i_o dare_v appeal_n to_o any_o practical_a christian_a herein_o and_o though_o this_o be_v that_o i_o hold_v in_o this_o point_n yet_o say_v this_o man_n if_o this_o opinion_n prevail_v both_o law_n and_o gospel_n be_v overthrow_v truth_n and_o save_a light_n extinguish_v and_o we_o lose_v our_o crown_n and_o that_o which_o we_o have_v labour_v for_o this_o as_o much_o as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v that_o which_o must_n and_o will_v be_v find_v in_o every_o true_a and_o real_a christian_n practice_n if_o this_o prevail_v both_o law_n and_o gospel_n be_v overthrow_v etc._n etc._n and_o not_o have_v do_v enough_o he_o add_v and_o many_o holy_a man_n of_o god_n lose_v that_o they_o have_v labour_v for_o and_o lose_v their_o life_n what_o a_o man_n be_v this_o do_v he_o ever_o know_v or_o hear_v or_o read_v of_o any_o of_o the_o holy_a man_n of_o god_n who_o lose_v their_o life_n for_o the_o oppose_a such_o notion_n the_o practice_n of_o which_o as_o holy_a man_n must_v unavoidable_o be_v find_v in_o their_o own_o practice_n let_v he_o give_v i_o a_o instance_n any_o where_o at_o any_o time_n of_o any_o one_o holy_a man_n of_o god_n indeed_o or_o woman_n that_o lose_v their_o life_n and_o so_o suffer_v martyrdom_n for_o oppose_v this_o doctrine_n i._n e._n that_o true_a faith_n unite_v to_o christ_n give_v interest_n in_o he_o and_o so_o through_o and_o for_o he_o a_o actual_a right_n to_o pardon_n and_o life_n and_o that_o no_o true_a christian_n dare_v conclude_v that_o he_o have_v this_o union_n interest_n and_o right_o any_o further_a than_o he_o have_v ground_n of_o hope_n that_o he_o be_v a_o true_a penitent_a sincere_a obedient_a believer_n and_o that_o he_o dare_v not_o plead_v any_o righteousness_n that_o be_v in_o he_o or_o upon_o he_o as_o the_o merit_n of_o pardon_n grace_n and_o acceptation_n but_o only_o the_o righteousness_n of_o christ_n the_o mediator_n without_o he_o i_o say_v let_v
