mirror_n see_v and_o contemplate_v his_o infinite_a excellency_n who_o be_v the_o efficient_a cause_n of_o this_o and_o of_o all_o other_o excellency_n and_o happiness_n and_o so_o be_v excite_v to_o love_v he_o with_o dear_a ardent_a love_n and_o rejoice_v in_o he_o with_o sweet_a and_o high_a pleasure_n who_o be_v our_o mind_n only_o true_a joy_n and_o happiness_n also_o further_o when_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n consider_v its_o own_o excellency_n even_o by_o reason_n it_o often_o do_v or_o may_v look_v upward_o to_o heaven_n wihther_o its_o future_a eternal_a and_o heavenly_a nature_n and_o desire_n direct_v it_o and_o contemplate_v if_o in_o this_o short_a transitory_a mortal_a life_n it_o be_v of_o such_o excellent_a wisdom_n agility_n sprightfulnesse_n perspicuity_n wonder_n joy_n and_o happiness_n how_o much_o more_o wise_a lightsome_a quick_a perspicuous_a angel-like_o divine_a and_o happy_a shall_v the_o same_o be_v when_o it_o be_v disburden_v of_o this_o corrupt_a heavy_a earthly_a body_n which_o clog_v it_o when_o also_o it_o shall_v leave_v the_o world_n and_o ascend_v to_o heaven_n to_o god_n himself_o with_o he_o and_o in_o he_o to_o live_v and_o partake_v of_o his_o infinite_a sweetness_n and_o heavenly_a pleasure_n for_o ever_o also_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n from_o its_o conscience_n can_v even_o by_o reason_n in_o some_o sort_n know_v and_o espy_v heavenly_a happiness_n conscience_n be_v call_v by_o some_o a_o little_a god_n within_o we_o to_o direct_v we_o to_o do_v well_o and_o to_o cheer_v and_o rejoice_v we_o therein_o also_o to_o divert_v we_o from_o evil_a and_o to_o cause_n trouble_n and_o sorrow_n in_o we_o when_o we_o eschew_v goodness_n and_o do_v evil_a this_o divine_a part_n of_o the_o mind_n call_v conscience_n do_v as_o it_o be_v by_o a_o heavenly_a instinct_n tell_v we_o that_o there_o be_v a_o most_o powerful_a glorious_a wise_a just_a good_a love_a and_o in_o all_o respect_v infinite_o excellent_a creator_n and_o governor_n of_o all_o thing_n who_o dwell_v in_o the_o heaven_n who_o give_v we_o all_o the_o good_a we_o have_v and_o that_o he_o have_v also_o prepare_v for_o pious_a and_o virtuous_a man_n eternal_a heavenly_a reward_n after_o this_o life_n check_v we_o with_o thought_n of_o atheism_n and_o blasphemy_n when_o we_o go_v about_o to_o think_v and_o believe_v the_o contrary_a but_o rejoice_v we_o when_o we_o do_v well_o when_o we_o love_v desire_v seek_v and_o contemplate_v this_o our_o gracious_a and_o infinite_o excellent_a god_n and_o his_o heavenly_a felicity_n wherefore_o see_v god_n have_v imprint_v in_o we_o such_o a_o feel_n of_o himself_o as_o no_o conscience_n can_v deny_v he_o but_o rather_o that_o every_o one_o acknowledge_v his_o infinite_a glory_n power_n excellency_n and_o heavenly_a felicity_n it_o be_v great_a reason_n that_o we_o shall_v believe_v and_o endeavour_v to_o seek_v see_v and_o enjoy_v the_o same_o also_o from_o the_o desire_n of_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n to_o this_o eternal_a heavenly_a happiness_n in_o god_n and_o the_o satisfaction_n and_o contentment_n which_o it_o receive_v in_o the_o faithful_a contemplation_n thereof_o even_o on_o earth_n reason_n in_o some_o sort_n see_v and_o espy_v the_o same_o for_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n be_v of_o so_o large_a and_o excellent_a a_o apprehension_n and_o desire_n as_o it_o be_v already_o in_o some_o measure_n capable_a to_o view_v and_o long_o after_o eternity_n and_o heavenly_a happiness_n of_o so_o generous_a a_o nature_n it_o be_v as_o nothing_o will_v satisfy_v the_o desire_n thereof_o but_o infiniteness_n but_o eternity_n but_o heaven_n but_o god_n himself_o there_o be_v yet_o never_o any_o man_n though_o possess_v with_o all_o sort_n of_o earthly_a felicity_n but_o his_o mind_n have_v still_o desire_v new_a pleasure_n it_o never_o can_v be_v satisfy_v until_o it_o can_v enjoy_v god_n himself_o and_o his_o heavenly_a felicity_n which_o often_o do_v or_o may_v cause_v our_o mind_n great_o to_o desire_v and_o long_o thereafter_o and_o to_o pray_v with_o king_n david_n show_v i_o o_o god_n the_o joy_n of_o thy_o salvation_n this_o also_o may_v in_o some_o sort_n even_o by_o reason_n make_v we_o perceive_v and_o enjoy_v this_o infinite_a eternal_a heavenly_a felicity_n since_o without_o the_o same_o our_o divine_a heaven_n bear_v soul_n can_v never_o be_v satisfy_v and_o after_o the_o same_o since_o we_o do_v even_o according_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o our_o soul_n great_o long_a and_o desire_v also_o forasmuch_o as_o when_o our_o mind_n once_o come_v to_o be_v true_o raise_v in_o divine_a contemplation_n to_o heaven_n to_o god_n himself_o the_o desire_n thereof_o do_v remain_v even_o satisfy_v content_a and_o most_o sweet_o please_v on_o earth_n for_o then_o know_v that_o when_o god_n please_v and_o think_v good_a we_o shall_v eternal_o enjoy_v this_o heavenly_a happiness_n in_o perfection_n of_o which_o in_o such_o divine_a contemplation_n we_o begin_v to_o taste_v already_o and_o in_o this_o heavenly_a elevation_n see_v our_o mind_n raise_v above_o the_o world_n above_o ourselves_o and_o begin_v already_o to_o live_v a_o heavenly_a angellicall_a life_n with_o god_n himself_o our_o desire_n remain_v sweet_o please_v and_o satisfy_v with_o heavenly_a delight_n and_o happiness_n thus_o do_v divine_a virtue_n or_o reason_n which_o be_v the_o compound_v light_n and_o directress_n thereof_o prepare_v our_o mind_n to_o see_v know_v attain_v and_o enjoy_v heavenly_a delight_n and_o happiness_n on_o earth_n i_o may_v instance_n also_o concern_v divers_a particular_a virtue_n but_o in_o general_n let_v we_o yet_o further_o consider_v the_o mind_n of_o vicious_a man_n be_v dull_v and_o annoy_v by_o sloth_n intemperance_n or_o distemper_v by_o passion_n and_o perturbation_n can_v be_v well_o capable_a nor_o well_o prepare_v to_o perform_v the_o function_n and_o exercise_n thereof_o or_o any_o good_a action_n or_o office_n proper_a thereunto_o such_o as_o be_v prayer_n study_n divine_a meditation_n contemplation_n and_o all_o lofty_a and_o excellent_a matter_n or_o to_o receive_v retain_v or_o enjoy_v divine_a wisdom_n grace_n jllumination_n or_o consolation_n but_o virtuous_a man_n their_o mind_n be_v free_a from_o sloth_n and_o evil_a desire_n from_o distemper_n passion_n and_o perturbation_n and_o on_o the_o contrary_n be_v active_a quick_a lightsome_a well_o dispose_v and_o possess_v with_o sweet_a tranquillity_n joy_n and_o happiness_n become_v free_a cheerful_a sprightly_a apt_a and_o well_o prepare_v for_o the_o performance_n of_o all_o excellent_a and_o divine_a study_n exercise_n and_o contemplation_n and_o to_o know_v receive_v retain_v entertain_v and_o enjoy_v all_o heavenly_a inspiration_n irradiation_n and_o consolation_n insomuch_o as_o it_o be_v say_v that_o many_o of_o the_o ancient_a father_n and_o other_o divine_a saint_n of_o god_n have_v by_o reason_n of_o temperance_n and_o other_o virtue_n attain_v unto_o a_o very_a high_a pitch_n of_o heavenly_a wisdom_n and_o grace_n and_o that_o by_o this_o mean_v they_o come_v to_o so_o great_a a_o measure_n of_o holiness_n and_o familiarity_n with_o god_n as_o they_o become_v admirable_a to_o all_o the_o world_n and_o that_o his_o divine_a majesty_n vouchsafe_v very_o gracious_o to_o descend_v down_o unto_o they_o illuminate_v they_o wonderful_o with_o divine_a grace_n and_o heavenly_a consolation_n insomuch_o as_o they_o be_v possess_v with_o so_o great_a joy_n and_o solace_n of_o mind_n with_o such_o heavenly_a delight_n and_o happiness_n as_o they_o deem_v themselves_o in_o paradise_n insomuch_o as_o true_o by_o divine_a virtue_n the_o mind_n of_o man_n become_v most_o apt_a well_o prepare_v and_o dispose_v to_o enjoy_v as_o far_o as_o it_o be_v capable_a the_o felicity_n of_o heaven_n on_o earth_n to_o mount_v up_o to_o heaven_n in_o faithful_a contemplation_n and_o to_o entertain_v itself_o with_o angel_n and_o with_o god_n himself_o to_o enjoy_v within_o itself_o as_o much_o heavenly_a pleasure_n and_o happiness_n as_o it_o can_v think_v of_o nay_o more_o as_o some_o have_v enjoy_v such_o and_o so_o much_o as_o the_o mind_n that_o enjoy_v the_o same_o be_v not_o able_a to_o conceive_v or_o receive_v it_o such_o as_o st._n paul_n say_v have_v not_o enter_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n such_o as_o even_o overcome_v the_o heart_n and_o mind_n bring_v the_o same_o into_o a_o divine_a ecstasy_n and_o transportation_n and_o make_v it_o even_o beside_o itself_o with_o heavenly_a admiration_n and_o pleasure_n yea_o even_o beyond_o and_o above_o itself_o of_o a_o future_a and_o divine_a nature_n of_o a_o super-humane_a and_o heavenly_a temper_n on_o earth_n but_o concern_v this_o subject_a of_o heavenly_a joy_n and_o happiness_n i_o have_v now_o late_o also_o publish_v another_o treatise_n entitle_v heaven_n within_o we_o or_o divine_a happiness_n on_o earth_n a_o paradise_n of_o heavenly_a joy_n so_o may_v we_o gain_v that_o even_o within_o we_o we_o already_o may_v possess_v delight_n of_o heaven_n to_o conclude_v in_o sum_n by_o virtue_n our_o mind_n become_v apt_a well_o prepare_v and_o dispose_v to_o enjoy_v a_o paradise_n of_o delight_n and_o felicity_n both_o earthly_a and_o heavenly_a within_o us._n so_o if_o we_o can_v fair_a virtue_n beauty_n spy_v with_o love_n we_o shall_v be_v inflame_v present_o her_o sweetness_n will_v attract_v we_o with_o such_o charm_n we_o shall_v embrace_v the_o same_o with_o open_a arm_n who_o love_v her_o lovely_a self_n love_v not_o in_o vain_a million_o of_o pleasure_n they_o shall_v sure_o gain_v she_o free_a be_v our_o mind_n from_o sloth_n and_o evil_a passion_n from_o ill_a desire_n from_o fear_n and_o perturbation_n she_o crown_n the_o same_o with_o lightsome_a pleasantness_n with_o peace_n and_o courage_n joy_n and_o happiness_n she_o do_v direct_v we_o and_o prepare_v the_o way_n both_o unto_o earthly_a and_o to_o heavenly_a joy._n so_o he_o that_o be_v wise_a a_o paradise_n of_o sweet_a delight_n do_v find_v in_o virtue_n way_n which_o he_o enjoy_v within_o his_o happy_a mind_n finis_fw-la
