shall_v be_v utter_o in_o vain_a to_o deny_v or_o excuse_v they_o if_o any_o menwill_n then_o think_v to_o make_v their_o cause_n as_o good_a to_o god_n as_o they_o cannow_v do_v to_o we_o that_o be_v not_o able_a to_o see_v their_o heart_n they_o will_v be_v foul_o mistake_v now_o they_o can_v say_v they_o have_v as_o good_a heart_n as_o the_o best_a then_o god_n will_v bring_v they_o out_o in_o but_o what_o the_o particular_a excuse_n will_v be_v we_o may_v partly_o know_v by_o these_o scripture_n which_o recite_v they_o and_o partly_o by_o hear_v what_o the_o ungodly_a do_v now_o say_v for_o themselves_o and_o because_o it_o be_v for_o their_o present_a benefit_n that_o i_o now_o make_v mention_n of_o they_o that_o they_o may_v see_v the_o vanity_n of_o all_o such_o excuse_n i_o will_v mention_v they_o as_o i_o now_o meet_v with_o they_o in_o the_o mouth_n of_o sinner_n in_o our_o ordinary_a discourse_n and_o these_o excuse_n be_v of_o several_a sort_n some_o by_o which_o they_o will_v justify_v their_o estate_n some_o excuse_n of_o particular_a action_n and_o that_o either_o in_o whole_a or_o in_o part_n some_o by_o which_o they_o will_v put_v by_o the_o penalty_n though_o they_o confess_v the_o sin_n some_o by_o which_o they_o lie_v the_o blame_n on_o other_o man_n and_o in_o some_o they_o will_v cast_v it_o upon_o god_n himself_o i_o must_v touch_v but_o some_o of_o they_o very_o brief_o the_o first_o excuse_n i_o be_o not_o guilty_a of_o these_o thing_n which_o i_o be_o accuse_v of_o i_o do_v love_n god_n above_o all_o and_o my_o neighbour_n as_o myself_o i_o do_v use_v the_o world_n but_o for_o necessity_n but_o god_n have_v my_o heart_n answer_n the_o all-seeing_a judge_n do_v know_v the_o contrary_a and_o he_o will_v make_v thy_o conscience_n know_v it_o look_v back_o man_n upon_o thy_o heart_n and_o life_n how_o seldom_o and_o how_o neglectfully_a do_v thou_o think_v of_o god_n how_o cold_o do_v thou_o worship_v he_o or_o a_o full_a â—ustifiction_n a_o heathen_n conscience_n may_v excuse_v he_o from_o those_o sin_n which_o he_o be_v never_o guilty_a of_o but_o not_o from_o all_o but_o no_o more_o of_o they_o 2._o the_o case_n of_o those_o that_o have_v have_v the_o gospel_n be_v more_o plain_o open_v to_o we_o in_o god_n word_n their_o sentence_n be_v open_v in_o many_o place_n of_o scripture_n but_o most_o full_o in_o matth_n 25._o whence_o we_o will_v now_o collect_v it_o there_o we_o find_v that_o jesus_n christ_n the_o redeemer_n as_o king_n of_o the_o world_n shall_v sit_v in_o judgement_n on_o all_o man_n or_o death_n without_o just_a cause_n so_o he_o will_v publish_v this_o cause_n in_o his_o sentence_n as_o it_o be_v the_o manner_n of_o judge_n to_o do_v if_o you_o say_v christ_n will_v not_o use_v a_o voice_n let_v it_o satisfy_v that_o though_o we_o know_v not_o the_o manner_n yet_o if_o he_o do_v it_o but_o by_o mental_a discovery_n as_o he_o show_v man_n what_o shall_v everlasting_o befall_v they_o so_o he_o will_v show_v they_o why_o it_o shall_v so_o befall_v they_o 1._o the_o sentence_n on_o they_o on_o the_o right_a hand_n will_v contain_v 1._o their_o justification_n and_o general_n they_o shall_v be_v pronounce_v bless_v satan_n will_v have_v have_v they_o curse_v and_o miserable_a the_o law_n do_v curse_v they_o to_o misery_n many_o a_o fearful_a thought_n have_v possess_v their_o own_o breast_n lest_o they_o shall_v prove_v at_o last_o accurse_v and_o miserable_a but_o now_o they_o hear_v the_o contrary_a from_o their_o judge_n all_o the_o promise_n in_o the_o gospel_n can_v not_o perfect_o overcome_v those_o their_o fear_n all_o the_o comfortable_a word_n of_o the_o minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n conld_v not_o perfect_o subdue_v they_o all_o the_o tend_a mercy_n of_o god_n in_o christ_n dâ—d_v not_o perfect_o subdue_v they_o but_o now_o they_o be_v vanquish_v all_o for_o ever_o he_o that_o once_o have_v hear_v his_o redeemer_n in_o judgement_n call_v he_o bless_v will_v never_o fear_v be_v curse_v more_o for_o he_o that_o christ_n bless_v shall_v be_v bless_v indeed_o the_o description_n of_o their_o blessedness_n follow_v come_v inherit_v hoâ—d_v it_o in_o this_o tenure_n for_o ever_o the_o true_a believer_n be_v convince_v in_o this_o life_n that_o indeed_o there_o be_v no_o true_a blessedness_n but_o this_o enjoyment_n of_o god_n in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n the_o lord_n reveal_v this_o to_o his_o heart_n by_o his_o word_n and_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o he_o contemn_v the_o seem_a happiness_n on_o earth_n and_o lay_v up_o for_o himself_o a_o treasure_n in_o heaven_n and_o make_v he_o friend_n with_o the_o mammon_n of_o unrighteousness_n and_o venture_v all_o his_o hope_n in_o this_o vessel_n and_o now_o he_o find_v the_o wisdom_n of_o that_o choice_n in_o a_o rich_a return_n god_n make_v he_o so_o wise_a a_o merchant_n as_o to_o sell_v all_o for_o this_o pearl_n of_o great_a price_n and_o therefore_o now_o he_o shall_v find_v the_o gain_n as_o there_o be_v no_o other_o true_a happiness_n but_o god_n in_o glory_n so_o be_v there_o nothing_o more_o suitable_a and_o welcome_a to_o the_o true_a believer_n o_o how_o welcome_a will_v the_o face_n of_o that_o god_n be_v who_o he_o love_v who_o he_o seek_v who_o he_o long_v and_o wait_v for_o how_o welcome_a will_v that_o kingdom_n be_v which_o
