thirst_n to_o cold_a and_o nakedness_n to_o labour_v and_o weariness_n in_o short_a to_o all_o want_n and_o to_o all_o woe_n the_o grave_n be_v quiet_a it_o be_v the_o only_a piece_n of_o quiet_a earth_n that_o man_n can_v meet_v withal_o though_o a_o little_a above_o the_o grave_n on_o the_o earth_n there_o be_v cry_n out_o and_o complain_n yet_o the_o grave_n be_v quiet_a nothing_o can_v disturb_v the_o rest_n and_o quiet_a of_o that_o bed_n it_o be_v not_o capable_a of_o disturbance_n therefore_o exceed_v useful_a to_o rest_v in_o this_o i_o assure_v you_o be_v a_o great_a benefit_n than_o all_o the_o live_a world_n enjoy_v beside_o crown_n have_v their_o cross_n state_n their_o crack_n all_o person_n and_o thing_n their_o want_n every_o person_n state_n condition_n and_o thing_n under_o the_o sin_n wrap_v up_o in_o vanity_n all_o want_n be_v bury_v no_o where_o but_o in_o the_o grave_n of_o death_n the_o body_n of_o man_n never_o bid_v adieu_o to_o all_o want_n till_o it_o be_v embrace_v in_o the_o arm_n of_o death_n and_o lay_v to_o rest_v in_o that_o quiet_a centre_n of_o the_o earth_n but_o when_o death_n come_v without_o its_o sting_n it_o bring_v this_o certain_a benefit_n and_o advantage_n with_o it_o a_o second_o benefit_n and_o advantage_n of_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n in_o death_n without_o its_o sting_n be_v this_o it_o take_v from_o the_o world_n scorn_n and_o cruelty_n when_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n be_v in_o the_o grave_n worldling_n must_v seek_v some_o other_o object_n for_o their_o slander_n scorn_n or_o cruelty_n they_o will_v find_v no_o sap_n or_o moisture_n in_o the_o dust_n of_o saint_n to_o feed_v these_o lust_n withal_o the_o derision_n and_o persecution_n of_o god_n dear_a saint_n on_o earth_n be_v the_o pastime_n and_o practice_n of_o sin_v soul_n like_o the_o fly_n that_o sport_v itself_o about_o the_o candle_n till_o she_o have_v burn_v her_o wing_n but_o god_n have_v his_o time_n to_o ease_v his_o people_n of_o this_o burden_n and_o if_o not_o before_o yet_o certain_o and_o full_o when_o death_n come_v be_v this_o work_n effect_v saint_n whilst_o they_o live_v in_o the_o body_n be_v with_o their_o spirit_n above_o the_o world_n scorn_n and_o cruelty_n but_o when_o death_n come_v than_o the_o body_n get_v beyond_o they_o too_o so_o that_o here_o be_v another_o benefit_n in_o death_n it_o free_v they_o from_o the_o scorn_v of_o fool_n and_o the_o cruelty_n of_o cruel_a man_n the_o wicked_a worldling_n count_v a_o saint_n to_o be_v the_o only_a troubler_n of_o the_o people_n and_o place_n wherein_o he_o live_v but_o when_o death_n come_v to_o a_o saint_n he_o be_v very_o willing_a to_o leave_v the_o world_n their_o portion_n and_o their_o elbowroom_n he_o be_v not_o desirous_a to_o trouble_v they_o any_o long_o all_o he_o desire_v be_v a_o little_a earth_n to_o lie_v down_o to_o sleep_v in_o and_o that_o the_o world_n be_v content_a withal_o wish_v that_o all_o the_o rest_n be_v there_o too_o this_o be_v a_o benefit_n which_o a_o saint_n with_o submission_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n desire_v many_o a_o hour_n before_o it_o come_v he_o be_v as_o willing_a to_o be_v at_o home_o in_o his_o own_o inheritance_n as_o the_o worldling_n be_v to_o have_v he_o out_o of_o he_o now_o death_n crown_v these_o longing_n in_o saint_n and_o bring_v in_o the_o harvest_n of_o many_o prayer_n which_o the_o spirit_n have_v make_v for_o this_o very_a thing_n so_o that_o in_o these_o and_o many_o more_o particular_n be_v death_n beneficial_a and_o advantageous_a to_o the_o body_n of_o saint_n but_o i_o shall_v mention_v two_o general_n in_o which_o death_n without_o its_o sting_n be_v through_o christ_n exceed_v advantageous_a and_o benificous_a to_o the_o soul_n of_o believe_a saint_n first_o it_o deliver_v they_o from_o a_o body_n of_o sin_n a_o place_n of_o temptation_n and_o darkness_n which_o be_v the_o whole_a complaint_n of_o saint_n whilst_o they_o be_v in_o the_o flesh_n the_o apostle_n paul_n complain_v of_o the_o law_n in_o his_o member_n which_o rebel_v against_o the_o law_n of_o his_o mind_n and_o of_o the_o body_n of_o death_n how_o often_o do_v the_o prophet_n david_n pray_v to_o be_v keep_v from_o temptation_n and_o to_o be_v enlighten_v in_o his_o darkness_n that_o god_n will_v show_v he_o the_o way_n he_o shall_v walk_v in_o and_o make_v his_o path_n straight_o saint_n desire_v to_o be_v unclothe_v of_o the_o body_n of_o flesh_n because_o they_o be_v capable_a of_o sin_v in_o that_o body_n any_o it_o be_v a_o body_n which_o tempt_v to_o sin_n and_o in_o which_o the_o soul_n be_v under_o much_o darkness_n and_o therefore_o groan_v within_o ourselves_o wait_v for_o the_o adoption_n to_o wit_n the_o redemption_n of_o our_o body_n 8._o rom._n 23._o it_o be_v very_o sweet_a to_o be_v deliver_v from_o temptation_n that_o they_o get_v not_o the_o upper_a hand_n so_o as_o to_o lead_v the_o soul_n captive_a at_o their_o will_n
now_o fear_v of_o death_n be_v no_o less_o than_o diffidence_n of_o that_o redemption_n therefore_o saint_n shall_v be_v very_o watchful_a that_o they_o harbour_v no_o sad_a nor_o hard_a thought_n of_o death_n because_o in_o so_o do_v we_o dishonour_v a_o true_a friend_n nay_o christ_n that_o make_v death_n thus_o to_o be_v our_o friend_n in_o the_o next_o place_n this_o call_v upon_o saint_n that_o when_o death_n come_v to_o sit_v in_o our_o bosom_n we_o shall_v bid_v he_o true_o welcome_a and_o give_v he_o the_o entertainment_n of_o a_o friend_n that_o be_v be_v true_o joyful_a to_o see_v he_o let_v he_o find_v by_o the_o joy_n of_o our_o heart_n that_o he_o be_v welcome_a to_o our_o besom_n let_v his_o countenance_n be_v please_v to_o we_o for_o though_o he_o be_v pale_a death_n to_o our_o flesh_n yet_o that_o flesh_n shall_v be_v a_o gainer_n by_o its_o paleness_n and_o find_v nothing_o in_o death_n but_o a_o quiet_a rest_n till_o it_o shall_v put_v on_o incorruption_n but_o to_o the_o spirit_n death_n be_v a_o messenger_n from_o god_n and_o christ_n of_o glad_a tiding_n and_o the_o foot_n of_o those_o which_o bring_v glad_a tiding_n shall_v be_v beatiful_a to_o we_o let_v death_n when_o he_o come_v find_v he_o be_v a_o long_o look_v for_o friend_n that_o he_o be_v not_o come_v before_o he_o be_v welcome_a but_o shall_v have_v be_v welcome_a if_o he_o have_v come_v much_o soon_o that_o thou_o take_v he_o for_o so_o good_a and_o so_o real_a a_o friend_n that_o thou_o be_v hearty_o willing_a to_o go_v with_o he_o and_o to_o leave_v all_o thy_o friend_n in_o the_o flesh_n that_o thou_o have_v keep_v they_o company_n but_o till_o he_o come_v and_o now_o be_v willing_a to_o leave_v they_o all_o to_o go_v with_o he_o saint_n may_v well_o bid_v death_n welcome_a as_o a_o friend_n for_o christ_n be_v in_o he_o and_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n when_o christ_n take_v sin_n from_o saint_n which_o be_v the_o sting_n of_o death_n he_o give_v they_o love_n in_o the_o room_n of_o sin_n so_o as_o before_o we_o have_v sin_n in_o all_o now_o we_o have_v love_n in_o all_o and_o though_o death_n to_o saint_n have_v not_o the_o sting_n of_o sin_n yet_o it_o have_v the_o love_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v bid_v welcome_a and_o entertain_v with_o gladness_n when_o he_o come_v but_o in_o the_o next_o place_n this_o call_v loud_a to_o saint_n that_o they_o believe_v strong_o in_o that_o love_n of_o christ_n who_o have_v take_v away_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n which_o be_v sin_n and_o thereby_o make_v death_n that_o be_v a_o original_a be_v a_o true_a cause_n of_o fear_n have_v be_v under_o christ_n destroy_v for_o he_o have_v destroy_v all_o enemy_n and_o where_o no_o enemy_n be_v there_o be_v no_o true_a ground_n of_o fear_n what_o remain_v then_o why_o nothing_o but_o a_o firm_a and_o last_a foundation_n of_o faith_n the_o love_n of_o christ_n be_v a_o strong_a foundation_n for_o a_o saint_n to_o believe_v strong_o in_o what_o shall_v we_o fear_v death_n be_v our_o friend_n the_o love_n of_o christ_n have_v make_v he_o so_o the_o break_n forth_o of_o this_o love_n be_v ground_n sufficient_a to_o banish_v all_o fear_n if_o death_n be_v no_o enemy_n then_o there_o be_v no_o enmity_n between_o death_n and_o we_o for_o death_n be_v the_o last_o destroy_v enemy_n and_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n have_v destroy_v that_o enmity_n saint_n have_v many_o that_o hate_v they_o but_o none_o that_o can_v hurt_v they_o take_v this_o for_o proof_n death_n be_v a_o saint_n friend_n there_o can_v be_v no_o great_a testimony_n of_o love_n then_o the_o destroy_n of_o enemy_n for_o no_o man_n will_v destroy_v the_o enemy_n of_o he_o that_o he_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o himself_o enmity_n will_v make_v enemy_n it_o be_v only_a love_n that_o destroy_v they_o and_o this_o love_n be_v christ_n to_o his_o people_n his_o love_n be_v so_o great_a that_o he_o will_v leave_v we_o no_o enemy_n that_o be_v no_o person_n person_n or_o thing_n shall_v ever_o be_v able_a to_o destroy_v a_o saint_n then_o sure_o saint_n may_v and_o aught_o to_o believe_v strong_o in_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n let_v worldling_n know_v their_o nail_n be_v too_o short_a to_o scratch_v out_o this_o love_n their_o strength_n too_o weak_a to_o shake_v this_o eternal_a foundation_n if_o they_o suck_v our_o blood_n they_o may_v choke_v themselves_o but_o do_v we_o no_o hurt_n for_o through_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n saint_n be_v conqueror_n over_o death_n saint_n may_v believe_v strong_o on_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n for_o a_o worse_a enemy_n than_o the_o world_n shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o destroy_v they_o even_o sin_n for_o christ_n have_v destroy_v sin_n and_o in_o that_o death_n for_o all_o that_o believe_v in_o he_o so_o as_o a_o saint_n triumph_v over_o death_n in_o the_o want_n of_o its_o sting_n be_v in_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n which_o have_v take_v away_o sin_n and_o this_o be_v that_o love_n which_o the_o soul_n of_o saint_n shall_v believe_v in_o and_o rest_v strong_o upon_o saint_n need_v not_o fear_n they_o can_v lay_v more_o upon_o this_o love_n then_o christ_n be_v able_a and_o willing_a to_o bear_v nay_o then_o he_o have_v bear_v already_o for_o he_o have_v bear_v all_o the_o transgression_n iniquity_n sin_n grief_n sorrow_n stripe_n and_o chastisement_n of_o his_o people_n isâ—_n 53._o so_o that_o he_o have_v redeem_v his_o from_o the_o whole_a of_o sin_n and_o believe_v saint_n may_v not_o fear_v to_o venture_v their_o soul_n in_o all_o upon_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n nay_o doubtless_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o saint_n to_o live_v believe_v strong_o in_o the_o love_n of_o christ_n which_o have_v put_v death_n to_o death_n and_o overcome_v all_o enemy_n for_o they_o but_o in_o the_o four_o place_n saint_n shall_v make_v this_o improvement_n of_o these_o truth_n to_o wait_v upon_o god_n patient_o in_o believe_v death_n will_v assure_o come_v and_o deliver_v they_o long_o out_o of_o heaven_n and_o their_o father_n embrace_n and_o in_o that_o time_n to_o be_v in_o a_o body_n of_o sin_n and_o a_o sinful_a world_n to_o bear_v the_o infirmity_n of_o the_o body_n with_o the_o scorn_n slander_n &_o persecution_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o remember_v that_o this_o be_v the_o fulfil_n of_o the_o will_n of_o our_o god_n and_o all_o this_o time_n death_n our_o friend_n be_v a_o come_n every_o moment_n bring_v this_o long_v for_o blessing_n near_a and_o near_o and_o we_o can_v tell_v but_o it_o may_v be_v at_o the_o door_n that_o death_n may_v be_v in_o the_o next_o moment_n be_v the_o world_n fear_n let_v it_o be_v a_o saint_n joy_n and_o serve_v to_o quench_v immoderate_a thirst_n here_o be_v this_o to_o answer_v all_o fear_n it_o will_v certain_o
