the_o greatness_n of_o his_o mercy_n here_o methinks_v he_o triumph_n over_o our_o nature_n and_o will_v have_v the_o devil_n the_o world_n and_o the_o flesh_n to_o know_v and_o man_n as_o well_o the_o bad_a as_o the_o good_a and_o the_o holy_a as_o well_o as_o the_o profane_a to_o understand_v that_o god_n give_v more_o joy_n and_o comfort_n in_o one_o day_n of_o a_o virtuous_a life_n than_o which_o they_o vain_o have_v endeavour_v to_o give_v themselves_o by_o run_v after_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o world_n what_o be_v this_o o_o christian_a what_o do_v thou_o forsake_v and_o what_o do_v thou_o seek_v after_o what_o will_v thou_o leave_v the_o delight_n and_o jollity_n of_o this_o life_n he_o answer_v no_o i_o leave_v only_o the_o disquiet_n and_o vexation_n of_o it_o what_o do_v thou_o seek_v after_o grief_n sorrow_n and_o repentance_n no_o say_v he_o i_o neither_o seek_v nor_o find_v any_o thing_n but_o consolation_n and_o satisfaction_n i_o live_v here_o in_o this_o religious_a course_n as_o if_o i_o be_v already_o in_o glory_n and_o while_o i_o spend_v my_o time_n in_o the_o debauch_a ramble_n of_o the_o world_n though_o i_o have_v outward_a pleasure_n i_o have_v a_o inward_a hell_n and_o that_o thou_o may_v practical_o see_v what_o the_o joy_n be_v of_o those_o that_o serve_v god_n beside_o innumerable_a example_n that_o may_v be_v give_v of_o it_o i_o can_v assure_v thou_o that_o i_o myself_o know_v a_o man_n not_o in_o a_o religious_a house_n but_o abroad_o in_o the_o world_n who_o have_v leave_v a_o very_a loose_a and_o wicked_a life_n upon_o the_o light_n of_o truth_n that_o have_v undeceive_v he_o be_v seize_v with_o so_o excessive_a a_o joy_n soon_o after_o his_o conversion_n that_o not_o be_v able_a to_o contain_v himself_o he_o will_v rise_v by_o three_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o morning_n and_o sometime_o much_o soon_o to_o break_v forth_o into_o divine_a praise_n and_o give_v vent_v to_o the_o overflowing_n of_o his_o delight_n by_o sing_v psalm_n which_o he_o be_v not_o able_a to_o forbear_v what_o be_v this_o lord_n what_o be_v this_o yesterday_o a_o thief_n and_o a_o murderer_n that_o fill_v the_o air_n with_o the_o cry_v of_o those_o that_o feel_v his_o violence_n and_o to_o day_n fill_v it_o with_o soft_a tune_n of_o his_o spiritual_a music_n yesterday_o a_o devil_n to_o day_n a_o angel_n yesterday_o groan_v under_o the_o chain_n of_o vice_n to_o day_n rejoice_v for_o the_o recovery_n of_o his_o freedom_n o_o the_o infinite_a goodness_n of_o god_n how_o wonderful_o thou_o work_v with_o the_o son_n of_o man_n in_o short_a this_o inward_a joy_n increase_v in_o such_o manner_n in_o the_o spiritual_a life_n that_o if_o god_n do_v not_o enlarge_v the_o heart_n of_o those_o to_o who_o he_o give_v intention_n and_o extension_n 5._o if_o they_o have_v condemn_v i_o to_o lie_v among_o galleyslave_n traitor_n and_o murderer_n the_o vile_a and_o base_a of_o wretch_n man_n of_o abominable_a life_n and_o worse_a manner_n this_o be_v a_o great_a evil_n to_o be_v tie_v to_o such_o ill_a company_n but_o they_o condemn_v i_o to_o be_v among_o utter_a enemy_n who_o not_o only_o abhor_v but_o will_v fain_o destroy_v one_o another_o and_o themselves_o too_o to_o hear_v nothing_o else_o but_o yell_n and_o blasphemy_n to_o see_v none_o but_o tormentor_n execute_v their_o rage_n and_o their_o revenge_n upon_o the_o damn_a by_o a_o death_n that_o know_v no_o death_n and_o a_o end_n that_o be_v still_o begin_v and_o which_o keep_v it_o duration_n even_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o torment_n 6._o if_o they_o have_v condemn_v i_o to_o some_o limit_a time_n though_o it_o be_v for_o a_o hundred_o year_n to_o suffer_v such_o sharp_a and_o terrible_a pain_n that_o be_v a_o great_a evil_n since_o soul_n as_o in_o the_o other_o life_n no_o man_n can_v see_v god_n without_o a_o pure_a heart_n so_o in_o this_o spiritual_a life_n seldom_o do_v a_o man_n hearken_v to_o god_n till_o he_o have_v cleanse_v his_o conscience_n by_o cast_v out_o his_o sin_n sin_n and_o passion_n be_v troublesome_a companion_n and_o make_v so_o great_a a_o noise_n that_o they_o disquiet_v and_o deafen_v the_o
