drive_v off_o from_o day_n to_o day_n and_o can_v neither_o unfeinedlie_o repent_v nor_o at_o any_o time_n come_v home_o again_o in_o the_o mean_a while_n when_o they_o little_o think_v thereof_o sudden_a death_n many_o time_n strike_v they_o unaware_o for_o as_o every_o man_n be_v sure_a to_o die_v so_o the_o hour_n of_o death_n be_v uncertain_a and_o therefore_o we_o be_v will_v in_o the_o such_o as_o believe_v and_o call_v upon_o he_o which_o may_v raise_v new_a motion_n in_o the_o heart_n and_o as_o it_o be_v regenerate_v the_o will_n of_o man_n and_o drive_v he_o unto_o all_o duty_n of_o godliness_n and_o to_o all_o virtue_n seemly_a for_o a_o christian_a and_o final_o to_o a_o life_n answerable_a and_o agree_v to_o the_o profession_n of_o the_o gospel_n of_o which_o we_o have_v speak_v at_o large_a in_o a_o other_o place_n oh_o how_o much_o be_v the_o mind_n of_o simple_a people_n offend_v by_o these_o and_o such_o like_a speech_n be_v thou_o say_v they_o a_o adulterer_n a_o fornicator_n a_o covetous_a person_n or_o defile_v with_o any_o other_o vice_n or_o wickedness_n believe_v only_o and_o thou_o shall_v be_v save_v as_o for_o the_o law_n thou_o need_v not_o fear_v it_o for_o christ_n have_v fulfil_v the_o law_n and_o satisfy_v for_o the_o sin_n of_o mankind_n these_o word_n without_o peradventure_o do_v much_o offend_v the_o ear_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o open_v a_o gap_n to_o the_o commit_n of_o wickedness_n and_o be_v a_o cause_n that_o man_n do_v not_o think_v of_o amend_v their_o manner_n but_o persevere_v obstinate_o in_o vice_n and_o wickedness_n yea_o and_o to_o say_v the_o truth_n animate_v such_o as_o be_v ill_o bend_v unto_o all_o impiety_n and_o as_o i_o may_v say_v cut_v off_o all_o occasion_n of_o repentance_n how_o much_o better_o do_v paul_n paul_n who_o as_o luke_n in_o the_o act_n record_v do_v not_o only_o preach_v unto_o felix_n and_o to_o drusilla_n his_o wife_n the_o faith_n which_o be_v in_o christ_n but_o dispute_v also_o of_o righteousness_n and_o temperance_n and_o of_o the_o judgement_n to_o come_v in_o so_o much_o that_o felix_n tremble_v thereat_o yea_o and_o the_o same_o paul_n again_o in_o the_o act_n witness_v repent_v of_o which_o afore_o chapter_n second_o against_o this_o incredulity_n therefore_o of_o we_o concern_v the_o judgement_n to_o come_v the_o pain_n of_o the_o wicked_a and_o immortal_a happiness_n of_o the_o godly_a the_o authority_n of_o god_n our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n christ_n unless_o we_o have_v rather_o to_o be_v count_v than_o in_o deed_n be_v christian_n will_v prevail_v out_o of_o doubt_n if_o we_o remember_v and_o set_v as_o it_o be_v before_o the_o eye_n of_o our_o mind_n those_o say_n which_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n concern_v this_o matter_n as_o that_o be_v of_o many_o to_o recite_v a_o few_o in_o the_o 〈◊〉_d after_o john_n the_o hour_n shall_v come_v say_v he_o in_o the_o which_o all_o that_o be_v in_o the_o grave_n shall_v hear_v his_o voice_n and_o they_o shall_v come_v forth_o that_o have_v do_v good_a unto_o the_o resurrection_n of_o life_n but_o they_o that_o have_v do_v evil_a unto_o the_o resurrection_n of_o condemnation_n etc._n etc._n again_o he_o say_v this_o be_v the_o will_n of_o he_o that_o send_v i_o that_o every_o one_o which_o have_v the_o son_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v have_v everlasting_a life_n the_o sentence_n he_o will_v pronounce_v upon_o the_o godly_a on_o this_o wise_a come_v you_o bless_v of_o my_o father_n inherit_v you_o the_o kingdom_n prepare_v for_o you_o from_o the_o foundation_n corinthian_n he_o say_v for_o we_o must_v all_o appear_v before_o the_o judgement_n seat_n of_o christ_n that_o every_o man_n may_v receive_v the_o thing_n which_o be_v do_v in_o the_o body_n according_a to_o that_o he_o have_v do_v whether_o it_o be_v good_a or_o evil_n in_o which_o judgement_n as_o testify_v the_o same_o paul_n he_o will_v lighten_v thing_n that_o be_v do_v in_o darkness_n and_o make_v the_o counsel_n of_o the_o
heart_n manifest_a so_o that_o all_o man_n shall_v behold_v the_o same_o the_o which_o how_o horrible_a it_o will_v be_v to_o the_o wicked_a no_o man_n can_v sufficient_o either_o tell_v or_o conceive_v for_o if_o in_o this_o life_n a_o wicked_a man_n who_o wicked_a and_o shameful_a vice_n and_o wickedness_n be_v to_o be_v rip_v up_o and_o repeat_v in_o the_o face_n of_o a_o great_a you_o our_o mind_n be_v trouble_v when_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v open_v and_o all_o our_o cogitation_n counsel_n and_o do_n bring_v before_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n of_o the_o angel_n of_o god_n and_o of_o all_o the_o saint_n in_o heaven_n if_o here_o we_o deem_v it_o a_o miserable_a and_o wretched_a thing_n to_o be_v lead_v unto_o prison_n how_o miserable_a will_v it_o then_o seem_v to_o be_v throw_v into_o everlasting_a torment_n if_o it_o be_v horrible_a to_o be_v punish_v in_o this_o world_n either_o with_o banishment_n or_o death_n what_o will_v it_o be_v hereafter_o to_o be_v banish_v world_n without_o end_n from_o the_o celestial_a kingdom_n and_o body_n and_o soul_n to_o be_v put_v to_o everlasting_a death_n if_o it_o be_v most_o comfortable_a for_o the_o godly_a to_o hear_v god_n bid_v they_o to_o inherit_v the_o kingdom_n prepare_v for_o they_o from_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n how_o horrible_a do_v we_o think_v that_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o judge_n will_v be_v to_o the_o wicked_a condemn_v they_o unto_o everlasting_a fire_n prepare_v for_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n if_o we_o believe_v these_o thing_n of_o the_o judgement_n to_o come_v of_o the_o reward_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o due_a punishment_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v true_a why_o do_v we_o so_o live_v as_o though_o there_o be_v neither_o heaven_n nor_o hell_n if_o we_o do_v not_o believe_v these_o thing_n why_o will_v we_o needs_o be_v call_v and_o count_v christian_n let_v we_o therefore_o shake_v off_o security_n which_o possess_v our_o mind_n together_o with_o that_o sluggishness_n cowardness_n and_o blockishness_n and_o drowsiness_n which_o have_v invade_v us._n we_o argue_v not_o about_o nifle_n but_o about_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o soul_n the_o possession_n of_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n about_o everlasting_a life_n and_o blessedness_n wherefore_o now_o i_o say_v now_o while_o we_o live_v and_o be_v in_o health_n while_o we_o may_v be_v forgive_v while_o he_o be_v our_o advocate_n which_o will_v be_v our_o judge_n let_v we_o endeavour_n to_o amend_v our_o life_n and_o never_o defer_v we_o the_o same_o till_o
