commandment_n the_o obedience_n of_o which_o be_v most_o pleasant_a in_o his_o sight_n ver_fw-la 22._o and_o without_o which_o it_o be_v impossible_a to_o please_v he_o heb._n 11.6_o 3._o that_o every_o one_o who_o hear_v the_o gospel_n must_v make_v conscience_n of_o the_o duty_n of_o lively_a faith_n in_o christ_n the_o weak_a believer_n must_v not_o think_v it_o presumption_n to_o do_v impenitent_a profane_a and_o wicked_a person_n must_v not_o thrust_v out_o himself_o or_o be_v thrust_v out_o by_o other_o from_o orderly_o aim_v at_o this_o duty_n how_o desperate_a soever_o his_o condition_n seem_v to_o be_v for_o he_o that_o command_v all_o man_n to_o believe_v in_o christ_n do_v thereby_o command_v all_o man_n to_o believe_v that_o they_o be_v damn_v and_o lose_v without_o christ_n he_o thereby_o command_v all_o man_n to_o acknowledge_v their_o sin_n and_o their_o need_n of_o christ_n and_o in_o effect_n command_v all_o man_n to_o repent_v that_o they_o may_v believe_v in_o he_o and_o whosoever_o do_v refuse_v to_o repent_v of_o their_o bygone_a sin_n be_v guilty_a of_o disobedience_n to_o this_o command_n give_v to_o all_o hearer_n but_o especial_o to_o those_o that_o be_v within_o the_o visible_a church_n for_o this_o be_v his_o commandment_n that_o we_o shall_v believe_v in_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n say_v he_o 4._o that_o he_o who_o ob●yeth_v this_o commandment_n have_v build_v his_o salvation_n on_o a_o solid_a ground_n for_o first_o he_o have_v find_v the_o promise_a messiah_n complete_o furnish_v with_o all_o perfection_n unto_o the_o perfect_a execution_n of_o the_o office_n of_o prophet_n priest_n and_o king_n for_o he_o be_v that_o christ_n in_o who_o the_o man_n do_v believe_v 2._o he_o have_v embrace_v a_o saviour_n who_o be_v able_a to_o save_v to_o the_o uttermost_a yea_o and_o who_o do_v effectual_o save_o every_o one_o that_o come_v to_o god_n through_o he_o for_o he_o be_v jesus_n the_o true_a saviour_n of_o his_o people_n from_o their_o sin_n 3._o he_o that_o obey_v this_o command_n have_v bui●t_v his_o salvation_n on_o the_o rock_n that_o be_v on_o the_o son_n of_o god_n to_o who_o it_o be_v no_o robbery_n to_o be_v call_v equal_a to_o the_o father_n and_o who_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v the_o object_n of_o save_a faith_n and_o of_o spiritual_a worship_n for_o this_o be_v his_o command_n say_v he_o that_o we_o believe_v in_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ._n 5._o that_o he_o who_o have_v believe_v on_o jesus_n christ_n though_o he_o be_v free_v from_o the_o curse_n of_o the_o law_n be_v not_o free_v from_o the_o command_n and_o obedience_n of_o the_o law_n but_o tie_v thereunto_o by_o a_o new_a obligation_n and_o a_o new_a command_n from_o christ_n which_o new_a command_n from_o christ_n import_v help_v to_o obey_v the_o command_n unto_o which_o command_n from_o christ_n the_o father_n add_v his_o authority_n and_o command_n also_o for_o this_o i●_n his_o commandment_n say_v john_n that_o we_o believe_v on_o the_o name_n of_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n and_o love_v one_o another_o as_o he_o have_v commandded_a we_o the_o first_o part_n sinfulness_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n wrath_n at_o the_o command_n of_o god_n be_v flee_v to_o jesus_n christ_n the_o only_a remedy_n of_o sin_n and_o mis●ry_n and_o have_v engage_v his_o heart_n to_o
