from_o he_o now_o when_o it_o be_v object_v against_o this_o viz._n that_o our_o vocation_n be_v that_o which_o go_v before_o our_o justification_n sanctification_n be_v part_n of_o glorification_n follow_v after_o rom._n 8.30_o hereupon_o some_o other_o tread_v in_o his_o step_n affirm_v that_o vocation_n be_v the_o same_o with_o sanctification_n and_o not_o comprehend_v under_o glorification_n other_o perceive_v the_o evil_a of_o this_o error_n viz._n to_o place_n sanctification_n before_o justification_n good_a fruit_n before_o a_o good_a tree_n they_o do_v therefore_o deny_v any_o save_a work_n whether_o of_o vocation_n or_o sanctification_n before_o justification_n and_o hence_o on_o the_o other_o extreme_a they_o do_v place_n a_o christian_n justification_n before_o his_o faith_n he_o say_v witty_o and_o wise_o faith_v by_o his_o justification_n before_o i_o come_v to_o clear_v the_o truth_n in_o these_o spiritual_a mystery_n let_v this_o only_o be_v remember_v viz._n that_o sanctification_n which_o pemble_n call_v out_o spiritual_a life_n may_v be_v take_v two_o way_n 1._o large_o 2._o strictly_n 1._o large_o for_o any_o awakening_n of_o conscience_n or_o act_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n and_o so_o it_o be_v true_a we_o be_v quicken_v by_o these_o act_n and_o so_o in_o a_o large_a sense_n sanctify_v first_o 2._o strict_o for_o those_o habit_n of_o the_o life_n of_o holiness_n which_o be_v opposite_a to_o the_o body_n of_o death_n in_o we_o and_o that_o we_o be_v not_o first_o sanctify_v before_o we_o be_v justify_v in_o this_o sense_n we_o shall_v manifest_v by_o and_o by_o only_o let_v i_o begin_v to_o show_v the_o error_n of_o the_o last_o opinion_n first_o viz._n 1._o that_o a_o christian_a be_v not_o first_o justify_v before_o faith_n or_o be_v the_o great_a sin_n of_o many_o saint_n when_o they_o do_v thirst_n and_o believe_v and_o come_v to_o christ_n and_o so_o be_v under_o the_o promise_n of_o grace_n yet_o they_o think_v it_o presumption_n now_o to_o believe_v and_o take_v possession_n of_o all_o those_o treasure_n that_o be_v in_o christ_n but_o look_v that_o the_o lord_n shall_v first_o make_v they_o feel_v and_o then_o they_o will_v believe_v whereas_o faith_n shall_v now_o receive_v and_o drink_v in_o abundant_o of_o the_o fullness_n of_o christ_n shall_v it_o be_v account_v presumption_n for_o any_o man_n to_o eat_v his_o own_o bread_n and_o drink_v his_o own_o drink_n and_o put_v on_o his_o own_o clothes_n the_o promise_n make_v christ_n and_o all_o his_o benefit_n your_o own_o therefore_o it_o be_v no_o presumption_n to_o apply_v they_o 2._o suppose_v you_o can_v find_v yourself_o within_o any_o promise_n and_o you_o see_v no_o reason_n to_o believe_v only_o you_o have_v the_o lord_n call_v and_o command_v to_o believe_v do_v you_o now_o in_o conscience_n and_o obedience_n to_o this_o command_n or_o to_o god_n invitation_n and_o entreaty_n in_o the_o gospel_n believe_v because_o thou_o
