christian_n revel_v 3._o 1._o and_o be_v dead_a i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o four_o thing_n and_o that_o be_v this_o what_o it_o be_v to_o be_v aliving_a christian_n first_o i_o will_v describe_v it_o by_o the_o efficient_a cause_n second_o by_o the_o instrumental_a cause_n three_o by_o the_o part_n of_o it_o for_o the_o first_o the_o efficient_a cause_n that_o make_v one_o a_o live_a 1._o christian_n be_v god_n as_o the_o psalmist_n say_v he_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o life_n psal_n 36._o 9_o he_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o all_o life_n it_o be_v he_o that_o make_v one_o a_o live_a man_n he_o give_v life_n and_o breath_n to_o all_o act._n 17._o 25._o if_o he_o shall_v take_v away_o our_o natural_a life_n we_o die_v and_o turn_v again_o unto_o our_o earth_n as_o long_o as_o he_o breathe_v on_o we_o we_o live_v as_o elihu_n speak_v the_o breath_n of_o the_o almighty_a give_v i_o life_n job_n 33._o 4._o yea_o all_o the_o world_n will_v be_v a_o dead_a chaos_n if_o he_o do_v not_o quicken_v it_o there_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o life_n in_o every_o thing_n that_o have_v be_v but_o it_o will_v be_v a_o dead_a mass_n if_o he_o do_v not_o concur_v with_o it_o what_o be_v money_n and_o meat_n and_o clothes_n and_o friend_n and_o life_n and_o health_n itself_o man_n think_v they_o be_v well_o to_o live_v when_o they_o have_v they_o all_o true_o if_o he_o bless_v they_o and_o quicken_v they_o unto_o we_o but_o if_o he_o be_v want_v to_o they_o they_o be_v dead_a thing_n and_o can_v do_v we_o no_o good_a nay_o the_o word_n of_o life_n itself_o it_o be_v but_o a_o dead_a letter_n without_o he_o all_o the_o ordinance_n of_o god_n we_o see_v they_o minister_v life_n to_o some_o because_o god_n put_v life_n into_o they_o but_o if_o he_o do_v not_o put_v life_n into_o they_o they_o be_v sapless_a and_o cadaverous_a thing_n so_o that_o god_n be_v the_o author_n even_o of_o our_o natural_a life_n as_o john_n say_v in_o he_o be_v life_n and_o his_o life_n be_v the_o life_n of_o man_n
shall_v be_v so_o four_o we_o begin_v to_o show_v you_o the_o use_n of_o this_o point_n first_o how_o wide_a then_o be_v they_o that_o be_v profane_o wicked_a 1_o if_o they_o that_o be_v christian_n god_n and_o here_o i_o show_v you_o first_o who_o be_v the_o principal_a and_o prime_a cause_n of_o this_o life_n and_o quicken_a and_o that_o be_v god_n who_o quicken_v the_o dead_a god_n the_o father_n quicken_v who_o he_o will_v god_n the_o son_n he_o quicken_v who_o he_o will_v and_o god_n the_o holy_a ghost_n he_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o life_n second_o i_o show_v you_o what_o be_v the_o instrument_n of_o this_o life_n and_o that_o be_v faith_n this_o faith_n when_o it_o be_v a_o true_a and_o a_o lively_a faith_n it_o make_v a_o man_n adhere_v to_o the_o fountain_n of_o life_n apply_v it_o to_o one_o self_n this_o be_v a_o stir_a act_n of_o the_o mind_n look_v where_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n be_v alive_a if_o it_o be_v alive_a towards_o the_o world_n if_o it_o know_v any_o way_n unto_o profit_n or_o preferment_n or_o the_o have_v of_o what_o it_o like_v present_o it_o will_v apply_v it_o so_o when_o a_o man_n be_v alive_a towards_o god_n now_o his_o mind_n have_v a_o apply_v disposition_n look_v what_o he_o know_v about_o god_n he_o apply_v it_o to_o himself_o for_o his_o own_o edification_n instruction_n humiliation_n direction_n and_o guide_n as_o eliphaz_n say_v so_o this_o it_o be_v hear_v it_o and_o know_v it_o for_o thy_o good_a job_n 5._o 27._o that_o be_v do_v not_o only_o know_v it_o but_o be_v quicken_v up_o to_o apply_v it_o to_o thyself_o
