this_o will_v sweeten_v the_o bitterness_n of_o death_n to_o we_o which_o will_v put_v a_o end_n to_o all_o our_o sorrow_n and_o this_o will_v make_v we_o willing_a to_o leave_v this_o world_n and_o desire_v with_o paul_n to_o be_v dissolve_v because_o we_o do_v steadfast_o believe_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v with_o christ_n but_o if_o we_o give_v ourselves_o to_o worldly_a vanity_n to_o lewd_a and_o licentious_a live_n and_o not_o to_o the_o true_a worship_n and_o service_n of_o god_n we_o shall_v then_o be_v unwilling_a to_o part_v with_o this_o life_n or_o to_o look_v upon_o death_n when_o it_o come_v because_o we_o know_v not_o to_o who_o it_o will_v deliver_v our_o poor_a soul_n for_o we_o can_v comfortable_o commend_v they_o to_o god_n when_o we_o die_v with_o any_o hope_n or_o good_a assurance_n that_o he_o will_v receive_v they_o see_v they_o do_v god_n no_o service_n while_o we_o live_v what_o thankfulness_n be_v it_o then_o to_o commend_v our_o soul_n unto_o god_n when_o we_o can_v keep_v they_o no_o long_o for_o the_o world_n or_o for_o our_o sinful_a delight_n and_o what_o comfort_n can_v we_o have_v at_o our_o death_n if_o we_o have_v no_o faith_n to_o believe_v that_o we_o shall_v enjoy_v all_o happiness_n with_o christ_n but_o rather_o just_a cause_n to_o fear_v that_o the_o sinfulness_n of_o our_o life_n will_v bring_v we_o to_o everlasting_a torment_n after_o death_n it_o may_v sometime_o fall_v out_o that_o we_o shall_v neither_o have_v time_n nor_o ability_n to_o dispose_v of_o our_o soul_n when_o we_o die_v as_o we_o desire_v and_o as_o we_o ought_v for_o if_o death_n come_v sudden_o upon_o we_o by_o any_o casualty_n or_o otherwise_o we_o have_v then_o no_o time_n to_o commit_v our_o soul_n unto_o god_n protection_n or_o if_o we_o be_v take_v away_o by_o some_o violent_a or_o malignant_a disease_n which_o do_v distemper_v our_o sense_n and_o weaken_v our_o understanding_n and_o reason_n that_o we_o be_v unfit_a for_o this_o great_a work_n we_o have_v then_o no_o ability_n to_o resign_v up_o our_o spirit_n unto_o god_n in_o a_o holy_a way_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v then_o where_o be_v our_o comfort_n in_o death_n this_o need_v not_o trouble_v our_o thought_n if_o we_o have_v former_o in_o our_o life_n have_v any_o holy_a assurance_n of_o our_o union_n with_o christ_n of_o our_o justification_n by_o his_o righteousness_n of_o our_o redemption_n by_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o blood_n and_o of_o his_o death_n and_o of_o his_o sanctification_n by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o that_o we_o have_v live_v virtuous_o and_o pious_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o have_v serve_v the_o lord_n our_o god_n with_o a_o perfect_a and_o upright_a heart_n in_o the_o time_n of_o our_o life_n for_o then_o death_n can_v come_v sudden_o upon_o we_o and_o no_o extremity_n of_o sickness_n or_o pain_n can_v separate_v we_o from_o christ_n nor_o take_v away_o our_o comfort_n from_o our_o soul_n at_o our_o death_n because_o god_n will_v receive_v they_o up_o into_o his_o holy_a habitation_n to_o abide_v and_o dwell_v with_o christ_n for_o ever_o though_o we_o have_v neither_o time_n nor_o ability_n to_o commend_v they_o unto_o he_o last_o let_v we_o zealous_o meditate_v for_o our_o great_a comfort_n upon_o the_o blood_n and_o water_n that_o gush_v out_o from_o our_o saviour_n heart_n after_o he_o be_v dead_a when_o his_o side_n be_v pierce_v with_o the_o spear_n there_o be_v blood_n to_o take_v away_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n for_o our_o justification_n and_o there_o be_v water_n to_o wash_v away_o the_o stain_n of_o sin_n for_o our_o sanctification_n for_o as_o our_o sin_n be_v impute_v to_o he_o as_o our_o surety_n so_o by_o faith_n his_o righteousness_n be_v impute_v to_o we_o and_o god_n do_v account_v we_o just_o and_o righteous_a in_o his_o sight_n for_o the_o sake_n of_o christ_n so_o likewise_o by_o grace_n we_o be_v renew_v daily_o and_o sanctify_a in_o our_o life_n and_o conversation_n wherefore_o we_o shall_v raise_v up_o our_o thought_n and_o the_o affection_n of_o our_o heart_n to_o this_o sanctify_a water_n when_o we_o think_v upon_o our_o baptism_n or_o see_v that_o sacrament_n celebrate_v that_o our_o heart_n may_v be_v sprinkle_v with_o it_o by_o faith_n to_o purify_v our_o soul_n from_o the_o leprosy_n and_o spot_n of_o our_o sin_n also_o we_o must_v set_v the_o cogitation_n of_o our_o heart_n upon_o this_o sacred_a blood_n when_o we_o feed_v at_o the_o lord_n table_n that_o by_o faith_n we_o may_v be_v persuade_v that_o christ_n do_v shed_v his_o blood_n and_o be_v crucify_v for_o we_o consider_v also_o that_o though_o the_o body_n of_o our_o bless_a redeemer_n be_v miserable_o rend_v and_o tear_v by_o the_o cruelty_n of_o his_o enemy_n yet_o god_n will_v not_o suffer_v they_o to_o break_v a_o bone_n of_o he_o according_a to_o this_o of_o david_n 20_o david_n psal_n 34._o 20_o he_o keep_v all_o his_o bone_n not_o one_o of_o they_o be_v break_v and_o though_o they_o break_v the_o bone_n of_o the_o two_o malefactor_n that_o be_v crucify_v with_o he_o yet_o they_o break_v not_o a_o bone_n of_o he_o that_o the_o scripture_n may_v be_v
