default_n that_o that_o young_a man_n do_v be_v this_o they_o give_v over_o themselves_o man_n to_o a_o inordinate_a carnal_a joy_n thiâ—…_n joy_n be_v set_v out_o from_o the_o time_n of_o it_o the_o day_n of_o their_o youth_n from_o the_o cause_n of_o it_o their_o heart_n cheer_v they_o from_o the_o kind_n of_o it_o they_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o their_o heart_n and_o after_o the_o sight_n daughter_n meet_v together_o to_o feast_v he_o be_v afraid_a lest_o they_o shall_v be_v misguide_v in_o this_o kind_n therefore_o the_o holy_a man_n in_o a_o godly_a care_n and_o thoughtfulnesse_n spiritual_a leprosy_n and_o malady_n and_o disease_n which_o as_o it_o prevail_v for_o the_o most_o part_n against_o age_n by_o covetousness_n so_o it_o get_v ground_n of_o youth_n by_o sensuality_n and_o voluptuousness_n this_o dam_n up_o the_o ear_n against_o reproof_n this_o harden_v the_o heart_n against_o instruction_n and_o make_v many_o young_a man_n the_o soldier_n of_o satan_n in_o sin_n again_o in_o the_o second_o place_n man_n in_o their_o youth_n forget_v the_o day_n 29._o of_o their_o reckon_n and_o judgement_n they_o be_v not_o mindful_a of_o their_o latter_a end_n deut._n 32._o 22._o oh_o that_o they_o be_v wise_a that_o they_o understand_v this_o that_o they_o will_v consider_v their_o latter_a end_n this_o precept_n be_v neglect_v both_o by_o youth_n and_o age_n but_o especial_o by_o those_o of_o young_a year_n for_o they_o feel_v their_o blood_n run_v warm_a in_o their_o vein_n and_o they_o be_v full_a of_o spirit_n and_o vigour_n therefore_o they_o suppose_v that_o the_o grave_a and_o the_o house_n of_o darkness_n be_v far_o off_o from_o they_o again_o in_o the_o three_o place_n young_a man_n be_v not_o break_v by_o affliction_n cross_n the_o fallow_a ground_n be_v not_o pough_v up_o by_o the_o pressure_n of_o affliction_n which_o through_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v great_a mean_n to_o tame_a nature_n and_o to_o subdue_v the_o pride_n of_o it_o and_o to_o bring_v it_o to_o a_o right_a frame_n and_o temper_n before_o i_o be_v afflict_v say_v david_n i_o go_v astray_o and_o ephraim_n say_v of_o himself_o jer._n 32._o i_o be_v as_o a_o bullock_n accustom_v to_o the_o yoke_n thou_o chastise_v i_o and_o i_o be_v chastise_v i_o be_v 32._o ashamed_a because_o i_o bear_v the_o reproach_n of_o my_o youth_n but_o young_a man_n be_v free_a joy_n in_o god_n therefore_o they_o betake_v joy_n themselves_o to_o carnal_a joy_n for_o sure_a it_o be_v that_o a_o man_n can_v live_v without_o joy_n and_o contentment_n if_o he_o have_v it_o not_o from_o the_o well_n of_o salvation_n he_o will_v drink_v it_o out_o of_o watery_a and_o slimy_a place_n now_o because_o man_n in_o their_o youth_n can_v take_v in_o the_o spiritual_a joy_n of_o that_o clear_a fountain_n therefore_o they_o drink_v in_o the_o muddy_a water_n of_o carnal_a joy_n the_o use_n of_o this_o point_n be_v in_o the_o first_o place_n a_o admonition_n to_o all_o young_a man_n to_o take_v notice_n of_o these_o malady_n and_o spiritual_a disease_n be_v in_o themselves_o the_o first_o degree_n of_o our_o heal_n be_v to_o see_v that_o we_o be_v sick_a and_o till_o then_o christ_n jesus_n the_o physician_n of_o our_o soul_n have_v no_o commission_n to_o do_v we_o good_a let_v young_a man_n observe_v in_o themselves_o first_o their_o carnal_a joy_n solomon_n here_o show_v that_o they_o rejoice_v inordinate_o this_o may_v appear_v to_o they_o first_o because_o they_o rejoice_v not_o where_o they_o ought_v they_o solace_n not_o themselves_o in_o god_n in_o who_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o joy_n nor_o in_o christ_n jesus_n in_o who_o be_v the_o spring_n of_o joy_n nor_o in_o the_o sacred_a word_n where_o there_o be_v the_o cistern_n of_o joy_n even_o as_o a_o bone_n when_o it_o be_v out_o of_o joint_n out_o of_o its_o place_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v a_o disorder_a bone_n so_o the_o affection_n when_o they_o be_v misplace_v be_v disorder_v and_o then_o our_o joy_n and_o any_o other_o affection_n be_v misplace_v when_o they_o be_v not_o set_v upon_o god_n and_o christ._n now_o if_o young_a man_n will_v deal_v upright_o with_o themselves_o they_o shall_v perceive_v that_o for_o the_o most_o part_n
vexation_n of_o spirit_n again_o god_n will_v abolish_v this_o humane_a wisdom_n 1_o cor._n 1._o 19_o 19_o i_o will_v destroy_v the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o wise_a and_o will_v bring_v to_o nothing_o the_o understanding_n of_o the_o prudent_a where_o be_v the_o wise_a where_o be_v the_o scribe_n where_o be_v the_o disputer_n of_o this_o world_n have_v not_o god_n make_v foolish_a the_o wisdom_n of_o this_o world_n beside_o all_o your_o humane_a wisdom_n it_o shall_v not_o go_v down_o to_o the_o grave_a it_o shall_v leave_v you_o when_o you_o die_v there_o be_v no_o work_n nor_o device_n
