shall_v agree_v liferenters_a and_o wodsetter_n always_o be_v liable_a during_o their_o right_n as_o heretor_n and_o the_o other_o half_o thereof_o to_o be_v lay_v upon_o the_o tenant_n and_o possessor_n according_a to_o their_o mean_n and_o substance_n and_o in_o case_n the_o say_n heretor_n be_v require_v by_o any_o person_n or_o society_n employ_v the_o poor_a as_o say_v be_v shall_v failȝie_v to_o make_v up_o and_o deliver_v a_o stint_v roll_n in_o manner_n foresay_a with_o power_n to_o the_o person_n society_n or_o other_o entrust_v by_o they_o to_o charge_v the_o heretor_n of_o each_o paroch_n for_o the_o sum_n of_o two_o shilling_n scot_n per_fw-la diem_fw-la for_o each_o one_o of_o their_o poor_a whereof_o they_o shall_v be_v relieve_v in_o manner_n foresay_a conform_v to_o the_o old_a extent_n or_o valuation_n foresay_a at_o the_o option_n of_o the_o person_n or_o society_n employ_v or_o these_o entrust_v by_o they_o which_o stint_v roll_n shall_v continue_v and_o stand_v for_o one_o year_n after_o the_o make_n up_o thereof_o either_o by_o the_o heretor_n or_o in_o case_n of_o failȝie_n by_o the_o person_n or_o society_n employ_v the_o poor_a as_o say_v be_v and_o shall_v then_o be_v renew_v from_o year_n to_o year_n during_o the_o year_n above-written_a provide_v also_o that_o the_o heretor_n in_o case_n they_o failȝie_v to_o make_v astent_fw-la roll_n as_o say_v be_v and_o be_v charge_v conform_v to_o the_o old_a extent_n or_o valuation_n of_o their_o land_n that_o they_o shall_v have_v relief_n of_o the_o tenant_n and_o possessor_n of_o their_o of_o regality_n principality_n magistrate_n of_o burrough_n or_o justice_n of_o peace_n and_o their_o constable_n to_o be_v assist_v in_o the_o apprehend_n of_o the_o say_n vagabound_v or_o in_o the_o bring_n of_o they_o back_o to_o their_o service_n after_o they_o shall_v be_v employ_v and_o strict_o prohibit_n and_o discharge_v all_o person_n whatsoever_o to_o oppose_v or_o hinder_v the_o take_n or_o bring_v back_o of_o they_o in_o manner_n foresay_a respective_a under_o the_o pain_n of_o deforcement_n likeas_n it_o be_v hereby_o declare_v that_o the_o poor_a so_o employ_v shall_v continue_v in_o the_o service_n of_o the_o employer_n and_o under_o their_o direction_n and_o correction_n in_o manner_n foresay_a not_o only_o during_o the_o space_n of_o the_o maintenance_n to_o be_v pay_v for_o they_o by_o their_o paroch_n in_o manner_n above-written_a but_o also_o for_o the_o space_n of_o seven_o year_n thereafter_o for_o meat_n and_o cloth_n only_o declare_v always_o likea_n it_o be_v hereby_o express_o declare_v that_o the_o burgh_n of_o air_n nor_o their_o inhabitant_n shall_v no_o way_n be_v comprehend_v herein_o but_o be_v except_v here-from_a in_o all_o point_n and_o recommend_v to_o the_o lord_n of_o the_o privy_a council_n to_o see_v this_o act_n and_o all_o former_a act_n of_o parliament_n make_v against_o sturdy_a beggar_n and_o vagabond_n put_v to_o execution_n with_o power_n to_o they_o to_o supply_v by_o their_o order_n what_o shall_v be_v deficient_a as_o to_o the_o execution_n of_o the_o say_n acts._n xvi_o act_z anent_o the_o measure_n of_o coal_n our_o sovereign_a lord_n consider_v that_o several_a question_n and_o debate_n do_v arise_v betwixt_o the_o buyer_n of_o coal_n and_o the_o customer_n and_o receiver_n of_o the_o bullion_n anent_o the_o measure_n of_o the_o chalder_n
