may_v be_v of_o precept_n when_o the_o necessity_n of_o exercisinge_v they_o as_o we_o have_v say_v be_v so_o great_a that_o without_o the_o use_n of_o those_o mean_n the_o very_a commandment_n lie_v people_n after_o a_o diverse_a sort_n and_o that_o prayer_n and_o consideration_n itself_o which_o be_v one_o of_o these_o mean_n must_v be_v use_v of_o they_o in_o diverse_a degree_n for_o the_o religious_a person_n must_v exercise_v the_o same_o as_o a_o thing_n apperten_v to_o his_o office_n and_o dewtie_n of_o his_o profession_n because_o he_o walk_v towards_o perfection_n but_o the_o lie_v person_n must_v exercise_v it_o as_o a_o mean_a whereby_o he_o may_v the_o better_o fulfil_v his_o bind_a duty_n of_o keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o almighty_a god_n and_o therefore_o the_o lie_v person_n must_v take_v so_o much_o of_o this_o medicine_n to_o wit_n of_o prayer_n meditation_n etc._n etc._n as_o may_v suffice_v to_o cure_v his_o disease_n and_o so_o much_o must_v he_o take_v of_o these_o mean_n as_o may_v suffice_v to_o obtain_v his_o end_n it_o be_v sufficient_a for_o the_o lie_v person_n to_o withdraw_v himself_o sometime_o for_o to_o enter_v and_o take_v a_o inward_a view_n within_o himself_o and_o then_o by_o mean_n of_o these_o or_o any_o other_o spiritual_a exercise_n and_o prayer_n to_o attend_v unto_o the_o reparinge_v of_o his_o conscience_n and_o to_o the_o reformation_n of_o his_o life_n for_o consider_v that_o this_o be_v the_o great_a of_o all_o our_o business_n it_o be_v requisite_a that_o this_o be_v not_o the_o last_o of_o our_o care_n death_n of_o our_o saviour_n the_o remembrance_n of_o the_o terrible_a day_n of_o judgement_n of_o the_o horrible_a torment_n of_o hell_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n of_o the_o benefit_n of_o almighty_a god_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o of_o our_o life_n and_o death_n for_o every_o one_o of_o these_o point_n be_v well_o wey_v and_o consider_v be_v able_a to_o provoke_v our_o heart_n very_o matter_n be_v the_o food_n of_o our_o soul_n to_o be_v use_v in_o these_o matter_n that_o each_o man_n find_v to_o be_v best_a for_o himself_o and_o wherein_o he_o take_v most_o profit_n and_o commodity_n moreover_o i_o thowghte_v it_o expediente_a consider_v that_o the_o food_n and_o sustenance_n of_o our_o soul_n be_v the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o consideration_n of_o heavenly_a matter_n for_o therewith_o be_v our_o soul_n sustain_v in_o the_o spiritual_a life_n which_o consist_v in_o the_o love_n and_o fear_v of_o god_n that_o like_a as_o we_o geve_v ordinary_o to_o our_o body_n his_o refection_n twice_o every_o day_n to_o preserve_v it_o from_o feintinge_v in_o this_o life_n even_o so_o we_o shall_v also_o geve_v to_o our_o soul_n her_o ordinary_a refection_n twice_o
