that_o with_o contempt_n of_o authority_n under_o pretence_n of_o great_a and_o new_a light_n be_v a_o dangerous_a sign_n of_o a_o anabaptisticall_a spirit_n therefore_o i_o say_v what_o we_o change_v aught_o to_o be_v do_v with_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o the_o king_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n namely_o according_a to_o his_o word_n and_o with_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o king_n that_o be_v consent_v with_o the_o law_n and_o sovereign_a authority_n set_v over_o we_o or_o at_o least_o not_o with_o a_o high_a hand_n in_o contempt_n thereof_o for_o every_o soul_n must_v be_v subject_a to_o the_o high_a power_n 1._o yea_o say_v chrysostome_n though_o he_o be_v a_o apostle_n though_o a_o evangelist_n though_o a_o prophet_n therefore_o i_o can_v wish_v as_o i_o have_v often_o persuade_v that_o we_o may_v stay_v for_o the_o determination_n of_o the_o parliament_n in_o these_o thing_n and_o likewise_o the_o approbation_n of_o the_o company_n in_o those_o that_o concern_v they_o but_o because_o some_o here_o be_v very_o impetuous_a and_o a_o further_a change_n be_v daily_o preach_v and_o press_v among_o we_o i_o have_v little_a hope_n to_o stop_v the_o violence_n of_o this_o stream_n therefore_o to_o the_o intent_n we_o may_v understand_v and_o consider_v what_o to_o do_v and_o as_o the_o say_n be_v look_v before_o we_o leap_v i_o shall_v in_o the_o next_o place_n desire_n as_o many_o other_o do_v and_o as_o it_o concern_v we_o all_o to_o desire_v of_o they_o and_o of_o our_o minister_n especial_o that_o they_o will_v be_v please_v to_o set_v down_o in_o writing_n note_v whatsoever_o new_a thing_n in_o doctrine_n or_o discipline_n they_o will_v have_v we_o entertain_v different_a from_o the_o practice_n or_o tenant_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n that_o so_o each_o thing_n be_v well_o consider_v examine_v and_o adjudge_v by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n we_o may_v entertain_v or_o reject_v it_o according_o i_o know_v there_o be_v sundry_a objection_n allege_v and_o pretend_v more_o than_o i_o need_v to_o repeat_v or_o answer_v here_o for_o howsoever_o it_o be_v true_a that_o we_o be_v to_o submit_v ourselves_o to_o the_o word_n of_o god_n i_o mean_v the_o holy_a scripture_n in_o all_o thing_n yet_o not_o so_o to_o man_n objection_n especial_o when_o they_o seek_v themselves_o in_o stead_n of_o christ_n no_o though_o they_o tell_v we_o they_o be_v the_o mouth_n of_o god_n and_o sit_v in_o moses_n chair_n and_o therefore_o must_v be_v hear_v and_o obey_v and_o that_o the_o government_n of_o the_o church_n belong_v to_o they_o next_o under_o christ_n and_o that_o even_a caiaphas_n though_o a_o persecutor_n of_o christ_n yet_o when_o he_o have_v the_o place_n of_o highpriest_n he_o prophesy_v the_o truth_n and_o though_o they_o tell_v we_o we_o must_v not_o strive_v with_o the_o priest_n nor_o reprove_v our_o reprover_n and_o though_o they_o accuse_v we_o to_o have_v reject_v and_o oppose_v more_o
