effect_n be_v not_o pure_o due_a to_o the_o second_o cause_n but_o to_o the_o original_a operation_n of_o the_o first_o cause_n that_o do_v put_v that_o activity_n in_o the_o second_o cause_n to_o first_o be_v be_v a_o substantial_a act_n not_o a_o act_n that_o flow_v from_o another_o thing_n or_o depend_v upon_o another_o thing_n for_o than_o he_o can_v not_o be_v ens_fw-la primum_fw-la nor_o life_n add_v a_o degree_n of_o perfection_n to_o the_o substance_n in_o which_o it_o be_v and_o the_o more_o perfect_a the_o life_n be_v the_o more_o perfect_a the_o be_v hence_o the_o sensitive_a life_n be_v perfect_a than_o the_o vegetative_a and_o the_o rational_a life_n than_o the_o sensitive_a and_o the_o life_n of_o a_o spirit_n than_o the_o life_n of_o a_o body_n now_o this_o first_o cause_n be_v a_o infinite_a and_o pure_a act_n he_o have_v a_o infinite_a perfect_a life_n 4._o from_o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o he_o be_v a_o intellectual_a be_v and_o as_o all_o his_o work_n bespeak_v he_o so_o so_o do_v this_o consideration_n of_o his_o perfection_n necessary_o evidence_n it_o for_o otherwise_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v perfect_a because_o a_o intellectual_a be_v be_v a_o more_o perfect_a be_v than_o that_o which_o be_v not_o so_o and_o this_o understanding_n of_o the_o first_o cause_n be_v commensurate_a to_o his_o essence_n viz._n infinite_a and_o eternal_a whereby_o 3._o all_o thing_n that_o may_v be_v because_o otherwise_o upon_o a_o further_a act_n of_o his_o power_n that_o shall_v be_v a_o new_a extension_n of_o his_o knowledge_n which_o stand_v not_o with_o we_o must_v necessary_o come_v to_o a_o first_o man_n if_o so_o how_o have_v that_o man_n his_o be_v it_o be_v true_a that_o there_o be_v some_o live_a creature_n that_o we_o may_v trace_v their_o beginning_n to_o the_o corruption_n of_o some_o preexi_a matter_n which_o by_o its_o own_o temper_n and_o the_o concurrence_n of_o other_o second_o cause_n may_v produce_v a_o live_a creature_n as_o worm_n mouse_n etc._n etc._n but_o if_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o production_n of_o man_n at_o first_o why_o be_v it_o not_o so_o at_o some_o time_n since_o viz._n that_o a_o man_n shall_v be_v produce_v out_o of_o the_o ground_n by_o some_o concurrence_n of_o the_o disposition_n of_o the_o matter_n with_o second_o cause_n if_o it_o be_v say_v that_o that_o be_v now_o needless_a and_o nature_n do_v nothing_o in_o vain_a the_o answer_n be_v unsatisfactory_a for_o 1._o where_o such_o production_n be_v as_o of_o mouse_n etc._n etc._n it_o be_v as_o needless_a because_o they_o reason_n upon_o they_o 3._o from_o the_o conscience_n that_o startle_v at_o the_o commit_n of_o a_o horrid_a offence_n though_o with_o the_o great_a secrecy_n and_o outward_a security_n in_o the_o to_o those_o inward_a motion_n of_o his_o soul_n by_o the_o violation_n of_o the_o least_o part_n of_o which_o law_n he_o incur_v a_o gild_n which_o be_v a_o obligation_n to_o punishment_n according_a appetite_n that_o can_v be_v imagine_v and_o all_o those_o supply_n and_o opportunity_n that_o may_v conduce_v to_o the_o fill_n of_o these_o desire_n yet_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o those_o enjoyment_n he_o will_v find_v a_o nauseousness_n a_o satiety_n a_o weariness_n and_o that_o be_v the_o reason_n that_o voluptuous_a man_n travel_v from_o one_o pleasure_n to_o another_o which_o though_o they_o be_v exquisite_o proportionable_a to_o that_o sense_n they_o be_v frame_v for_o yet_o there_o be_v somewhat_o within_o which_o be_v still_o empty_a and_o crave_v who_o can_v relish_v nor_o taste_v those_o enjoyment_n and_o cry_v after_o something_o that_o may_v be_v more_o suitable_a to_o it_o and_o the_o man_n not_o know_v what_o that_o be_v travel_n from_o one_o thing_n to_o another_o to_o find_v somewhat_o to_o satisfy_v that_o desire_n but_o can_v till_o he_o light_v upon_o that_o good_a that_o be_v immaterial_a 2._o in_o that_o the_o more_o spiritual_a the_o object_n be_v the_o
