law_n and_o god_n as_o a_o rector_n or_o just_a governor_n command_v obedience_n thereunto_o as_o the_o procure_a cause_n of_o our_o justification_n so_o that_o our_o faith_n and_o obedience_n be_v a_o cause_n and_o condition_n of_o life_n as_o unbelief_n and_o disobedience_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o eternal_a death_n but_o have_v former_o detect_v this_o dangerous_a error_n i_o shall_v not_o neglect_v of_o gospel-grace_n second_o this_o may_v also_o inform_v we_o how_o strange_o mankind_n be_v blind_v and_o deceive_v by_o the_o god_n of_o this_o world_n in_o that_o small_a thing_n be_v be_v a_o index_n and_o mark_n of_o our_o justification_n though_o we_o can_v own_v that_o use_n of_o its_o give_v right_o &c._n &c._n but_o to_o proceed_v say_v he_o a_o distinct_a law_n they_o must_v hold_v or_o quit_v their_o cause_n or_o this_o foundation_n of_o it_o for_o the_o text_n set_v the_o law_n of_o faith_n down_o as_o a_o opposite_a law_n to_o that_o of_o work_n and_o that_o they_o hold_v then_o if_o it_o be_v a_o perfect_a law_n require_v perfect_a obedience_n there_o be_v no_o possibility_n of_o justification_n in_o this_o life_n poppius_n the_o arminian_n grant_v the_o conclusion_n that_o our_o obedience_n must_v be_v consummate_a before_o our_o assurance_n and_o other_o distinguish_v between_o a_o complete_a and_o partial_a justification_n the_o former_a be_v not_o indeed_o a_o conditional_a hell_n but_o it_o be_v more_o dreadful_a than_o the_o fire_n of_o hell_n and_o the_o condition_n be_v more_o impossible_a because_o we_o have_v less_o power_n to_o shun_v
