the_o king_n supremacy_n in_o spiritual_n nor_o be_v the_o proof_n of_o that_o supremacy_n enervate_v by_o what_o follow_v but_o whereas_o it_o be_v object_v that_o the_o king_n of_o israel_n and_o judah_n under_o the_o old_a testament_n have_v power_n in_o spiritual_a cause_n and_o do_v punish_v blasphemy_n and_o idolatry_n which_o be_v crime_n of_o the_o high_a nature_n against_o god_n we_o confess_v they_o have_v such_o power_n which_o be_v give_v to_o they_o in_o plain_a precept_n write_v in_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n but_o the_o gospel_n that_o we_o live_v under_o be_v another_o dispensation_n in_o which_o the_o lord_n jesus_n be_v the_o only_a lawgiver_n who_o do_v not_o as_o moses_n proceed_v against_o the_o transgressor_n of_o his_o precept_n by_o external_a force_n and_o power_n to_o the_o destroy_v they_o in_o their_o body_n and_o estate_n in_o this_o life_n but_o in_o long_a suffering_n wait_v on_o man_n not_o willing_a they_o shall_v perish_v but_o rather_o that_o they_o shall_v repent_v and_o be_v save_v 2_o thes_n 1._o 9_o 2_o pet._n 3._o 9_o act_n 17._o 31._o and_o when_o any_o continue_v in_o disobedience_n to_o the_o gospel_n his_o punishment_n be_v eternal_a in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v the_o apostle_n paul_n testify_v of_o himself_o that_o he_o be_v a_o blasphemer_n and_o perescuter_n 1_o tim._n 1._o 20._o and_o if_o the_o mind_n of_o god_n have_v be_v that_o he_o shall_v have_v suffer_v death_n in_o that_o condition_n how_o shall_v he_o have_v have_v repentance_n give_v he_o and_o be_v such_o a_o glorious_a instrument_n in_o the_o church_n as_o he_o be_v furthermore_o it_o be_v too_o well_o know_v that_o the_o jew_n be_v the_o great_a blasphemer_n against_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n as_o be_v on_o the_o earth_n yet_o it_o be_v not_o the_o mind_n of_o the_o lord_n they_o shall_v be_v destroy_v from_o the_o face_n of_o the_o earth_n for_o how_o then_o shall_v the_o scripture_n be_v fulfil_v wherein_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o call_v they_o and_o to_o make_v they_o the_o most_o glorious_a nation_n of_o the_o world_n oh_o how_o can_v they_o be_v convert_v if_o they_o be_v not_o permit_v where_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v we_o speak_v not_o this_o in_o favour_n of_o any_o blasphemy_n for_o our_o soul_n abhor_v it_o but_o because_o we_o will_v have_v the_o life_n of_o man_n as_o precious_a in_o thy_o eye_n o_o king_n as_o they_o be_v in_o
