not_o absolute_o oblige_v to_o his_o creature_n but_o only_o upon_o supposition_n and_o consequent_o can_v be_v absolute_o bind_v to_o reward_v great_a saint_n with_o great_a happiness_n yet_o if_o we_o once_o suppose_v he_o to_o engage_v himself_o by_o promise_n to_o be_v a_o rewarder_n of_o virtue_n in_o general_a there_o will_v be_v all_o the_o reason_n in_o the_o world_n to_o think_v that_o by_o the_o same_o promise_v he_o have_v also_o virtual_o oblige_v himself_o to_o crown_v the_o great_a virtue_n with_o the_o great_a reward_n for_o since_o the_o reason_n why_o he_o engage_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o rewarder_n of_o good_a man_n be_v not_o as_o be_v already_o precaution_v any_o absolute_a merit_n of_o they_o but_o only_o to_o show_v his_o great_a love_n of_o virtue_n and_o goodness_n it_o be_v reasonable_a to_o conclude_v that_o by_o the_o same_o motive_n and_o in_o persuance_n of_o the_o same_o end_n he_o also_o engage_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o more_o liberal_a rewarder_n of_o great_a saint_n since_o this_o be_v as_o necessary_a a_o mean_n to_o show_v his_o love_n to_o virtue_n and_o goodness_n as_o the_o other_o and_o therefore_o though_o we_o shall_v grant_v which_o yet_o in_o the_o sequel_n will_v appear_v otherwise_o that_o god_n have_v express_o promise_v only_a to_o be_v a_o rewarder_n of_o virtue_n in_o general_n yet_o since_o the_o end_n and_o reason_n of_o this_o his_o engagement_n be_v to_o show_v his_o great_a love_n to_o virtue_n this_o will_v be_v warrant_n enough_o to_o conclude_v that_o he_o have_v implicit_o and_o virtual_o engage_v himself_o to_o have_v a_o equal_a regard_n to_o the_o several_a degree_n of_o virtue_n and_o to_o reward_v they_o after_o their_o respective_a proportion_n but_o to_o rise_v high_a yet_o though_o god_n can_v be_v in_o strict_a justice_n oblige_v to_o reward_v the_o best_a of_o our_o service_n but_o by_o a_o engagement_n of_o his_o own_o much_o less_o to_o reward_v they_o
