their_o rider_n with_o fury_n as_o jerusalem_n be_v strike_v before_o when_o she_o have_v drink_v of_o that_o cup_n of_o giddiness_n that_o expose_v she_o to_o ruin_v but_o towards_o the_o house_n of_o judah_n at_o that_o time_n will_v i_o open_v my_o watchful_a and_o favourable_a eye_n while_o i_o smite_v their_o enemy_n horse-force_n with_o blindness_n that_o they_o may_v rather_o engage_v themselves_o more_o and_o more_o in_o their_o own_o danger_n then_o see_v how_o to_o effect_v what_o they_o subtle_o plot_v and_o contrive_v against_o my_o people_n 5._o then_o shall_v the_o prince_n and_o champion_n of_o judah_n say_v within_o their_o heart_n that_o the_o strength_n of_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o jerusalem_n must_v be_v in_o i_o even_o in_o the_o lord_n of_o host_n their_o god_n 6._o about_o that_o time_n i_o will_v make_v the_o governor_n of_o judah_n like_o a_o live_a coal_n of_o fire_n ligna_fw-la compass_v about_o with_o dry_a wood_n that_o can_v quick_o set_v all_o jerusalem_n all_o the_o while_n shall_v remain_v immovable_a like_o 3._o the_o stone_n we_o speak_v of_o before_o in_o her_o own_o place_n where_o jerusalem_n be_v ever_o seat_v and_o so_o shall_v that_o large_a church_n whereof_o jerusalem_n be_v but_o a_o figure_n it_o shall_v not_o be_v remove_v from_o that_o rock_n which_o give_v it_o such_o support_n 18._o that_o the_o gate_n of_o hell_n rather_o as_o a_o invitation_n to_o repentance_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n whereby_o the_o merciful_a god_n may_v be_v move_v to_o reconciliation_n and_o reversement_n of_o that_o heavy_a punishment_n which_o they_o have_v deserve_v 10._o this_o command_n of_o the_o king_n which_o second_v the_o preach_n of_o judah_n be_v so_o ready_o obey_v that_o god_n to_o who_o all_o heart_n be_v open_a seeinng_a their_o sorrow_n and_o repentance_n accompany_v with_o a_o serious_a and_o real_a intention_n of_o amendment_n in_o forsake_v their_o evil_a way_n and_o exercise_v themselves_o in_o all_o good_a work_n special_o in_o the_o virtue_n opposite_a to_o their_o violence_n and_o oppression_n he_o also_o repent_v of_o the_o punishment_n which_o he_o threaten_v to_o bring_v upon_o they_o and_o in_o his_o tender_a pity_n and_o compassion_n keep_v off_o the_o blow_n that_o be_v ready_a to_o fall_v upon_o their_o city_n chap._n iu._n 1_o but_o it_o displease_v jonah_n exceed_o and_o he_o punishment_n unto_o i_o heavy_a than_o death_n while_o i_o foresee_v the_o punishment_n that_o i_o may_v well_o think_v will_v fall_v upon_o my_o own_o countryman_n for_o their_o impenitence_n which_o be_v now_o make_v fowler_n by_o the_o repentance_n and_o conversation_n of_o the_o heathen_a that_o know_v not_o the_o goodness_n or_o pleasure_n of_o god_n so_o well_o as_o they_o do_v therefore_o i_o be_o likely_a enough_o for_o this_o business_n at_o ninive_n to_o be_v hate_v by_o the_o israelite_n as_o well_o as_o mock_v and_o deride_v by_o the_o ninivites_n that_o will_v look_v upon_o i_o as_o one_o quite_o out_o in_o his_o prophecy_n 4._o yet_o the_o gracious_a lord_n answer_v not_o the_o prophet_n according_a to_o the_o heat_n of_o his_o passion_n or_o the_o error_n of_o his_o judgement_n but_o in_o great_a mercy_n and_o meekness_n propose_v this_o question_n whether_o he_o think_v that_o he_o have_v just_a cause_n to_o be_v angry_a with_o he_o for_o spare_v so_o great_a a_o city_n upon_o their_o true_a repentance_n which_o every_o good_a man_n shall_v rather_o beg_v by_o his_o prayer_n than_o any_o way_n be_v trouble_v to_o see_v it_o do_v 5._o but_o jonah_n have_v become_v of_o ninive_n after_o the_o 40_o day_n
it_o be_v to_o give_v they_o as_o good_a as_o they_o bring_v when_o they_o be_v reprove_v or_o correct_v for_o their_o fault_n therefore_o it_o shall_v 2._o not_o be_v long_o before_o i_o lay_v thou_o low_a enough_o for_o this_o height_n of_o stubborness_n and_o rebellion_n and_o the_o false_a prophet_n that_o have_v deceive_v thou_o shall_v bear_v thou_o company_n in_o that_o punishment_n which_o shall_v sudden_o come_v upon_o you_o like_o a_o misfortune_n that_o come_v in_o the_o ult_n night_n when_o man_n neither_o look_v for_o it_o nor_o know_v how_o to_o prevent_v it_o and_o thy_o mother_n thy_o whole_a nation_n will_v i_o then_o out_o off_o from_o this_o place_n by_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o assyrian_a 6._o and_o yet_o indeed_o it_o be_v not_o i_o that_o so_o cut_v they_o off_o but_o
