hard_a thought_n of_o god_n for_o it_o be_v possible_a god_n never_o give_v you_o any_o ground_n for_o your_o expectation_n of_o these_o thing_n from_o he_o it_o may_v be_v you_o have_v no_o promise_n to_o bottom_n your_o hope_n upon_o and_o if_o so_o why_o shall_v god_n be_v suspect_v and_o dishonour_v by_o you_o in_o a_o case_n wherein_o his_o truth_n and_o faithfulness_n be_v never_o engage_v to_o you_o if_o we_o be_v cross_v in_o our_o outward_a concernment_n and_o see_v our_o expectation_n of_o prosperity_n dash_v if_o we_o see_v such_o or_o such_o a_o outward_a comfort_n remove_v from_o which_o we_o promise_v ourselves_o much_o why_o must_v god_n be_v accuse_v for_o this_o these_o thing_n you_o promise_v yourselves_o but_o where_o do_v god_n promise_v you_o prosperity_n and_o the_o continuance_n of_o those_o comâ—ortable_a thing_n to_o you_o produce_v his_o promise_n and_o show_v wherein_o he_o have_v break_v it_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o you_o to_o say_v there_o be_v general_a promise_n in_o the_o scripture_n that_o god_n will_v withhold_v no_o good_a thing_n and_o these_o be_v good_a thing_n which_o providence_n withhold_v form_v you_o for_o that_o promise_n psal._n 84._o 11._o have_v its_o limitation_n it_o be_v express_o limit_v to_o such_o as_o walk_v upright_o and_o it_o concern_v you_o to_o examine_v whether_o you_o have_v do_v so_o before_o you_o quarrel_n with_o providence_n for_o non-performance_n of_o it_o ah_o friend_n search_v thy_o own_o heart_n reflect_v upon_o thy_o own_o way_n see_v thou_o not_o so_o many_o â—laws_n in_o thy_o integrity_n so_o many_o turn_n aside_o from_o god_n both_o in_o heart_n and_o life_n that_o may_v justice_n god_n not_o only_o in_o withhold_v what_o thou_o look_v for_o but_o in_o remove_v all_o that_o thou_o enjoy_v and_o beside_o this_o limitation_n as_o to_o the_o object_n it_o be_v limit_v as_o all_o other_o promise_n relate_v to_o external_o be_v in_o the_o matter_n or_o thing_n premise_v by_o the_o wisdom_n and_o will_n
