gorgeous_a attire_n so_o much_o consume_v in_o law_n to_o have_v my_o will_n upon_o my_o neighbour_n etc._n etc._n for_o this_o will_v be_v think_v far_o worse_o then_o with_o the_o unprofitable_a servant_n to_o have_v hide_v our_o talon_n in_o a_o napkin_n etc._n etc._n four_o we_o learn_v that_o there_o be_v no_o certainty_n nor_o sufficient_a benefit_n that_o there_o be_v no_o certainty_n in_o the_o possession_n of_o temporary_a benefit_n cause_n of_o security_n in_o these_o worldly_a and_o temporary_a benefit_n see_v god_n oftentimes_o deprive_v we_o of_o they_o when_o we_o think_v ourselves_o most_o assure_v to_o enjoy_v they_o innumerable_a be_v the_o unlooked_a for_o accident_n which_o may_v spoil_v the_o fruit_n of_o the_o earth_n both_o in_o seed_n time_n winter_n spring_n and_o summer_n as_o too_o much_o rain_n too_o much_o drought_n worm_n canker_n caterpillar_n blast_n mildew_n and_o such_o like_a but_o though_o they_o escape_v all_o these_o yet_o can_v they_o promise_v unto_o we_o no_o certainty_n of_o enjoy_v they_o see_v the_o lord_n for_o our_o sin_n can_v take_v away_o our_o corn_n in_o the_o time_n of_o harvest_n and_o our_o wine_n in_o the_o vintage_n either_o by_o unseasonable_a weather_n or_o the_o invasion_n of_o our_o enemy_n he_o can_v sink_v the_o ship_n in_o the_o haven_n as_o well_o as_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o ocean_n and_o he_o can_v pluck_v back_o his_o benefit_n from_o we_o even_o when_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o stretch_v out_o the_o hand_n to_o receive_v they_o the_o consideration_n whereof_o shall_v make_v we_o never_o to_o promise_v unto_o ourselves_o security_n and_o certainty_n of_o these_o benefit_n so_o long_o as_o live_v in_o our_o sin_n without_o repentance_n we_o just_o provoke_v the_o lord_n to_o strip_v we_o of_o they_o and_o second_o we_o may_v hereby_o be_v move_v not_o to_o put_v our_o trust_n and_o confidence_n in_o these_o worldly_a thing_n for_o our_o preservation_n see_v they_o be_v possess_v of_o they_o because_o they_o hold_v they_o by_o a_o unlawful_a tenure_n and_o therefore_o may_v at_o the_o will_n of_o the_o grand-lord_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n be_v just_o every_o minute_n dispossess_v of_o they_o and_o though_o he_o suffer_v they_o for_o a_o time_n to_o hold_v they_o in_o their_o custody_n yet_o they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v esteem_v true_a owner_n but_o in_o spirit_n and_o truth_n pure_o &_o sincere_o where_o the_o lord_n show_v first_o that_o the_o church_n shall_v not_o only_o worship_v he_o but_o also_o that_o she_o shall_v worship_v he_o alone_o and_o renounce_v all_o her_o idol_n and_o false_a god_n second_o that_o she_o shall_v not_o worship_v he_o after_o a_o idolatrous_a manner_n in_o image_n and_o idol_n as_o it_o be_v the_o manner_n of_o the_o israelite_n who_o worship_v god_n in_o the_o idol_n baal_n as_o appear_v in_o this_o place_n but_o shall_v come_v unto_o he_o immediate_o and_o not_o by_o a_o substitute_n or_o inferior_a
