of_o other_o forgetfulness_n of_o god_n of_o our_o mortality_n etc._n etc._n the_o evil_n come_v of_o adversity_n common_o be_v impatiency_n wicked_a what_o tentationâ—_n be_v to_o the_o godly_a and_o what_o they_o be_v to_o the_o wicked_a murmur_a grudge_v despair_a conâ—entning_a of_o god_n slatter_v of_o man_n steal_v lie_a with_o many_o other_o evil_n whereto_o tentation_n will_v entice_v a_o man_n that_o be_v leave_v to_o himself_o whereas_o to_o one_o that_o be_v guide_v with_o god_n spirit_n temptation_n be_v but_o trial_n to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n comfort_n of_o the_o tempt_v and_o edify_v of_o the_o church_n but_o as_o i_o say_v if_o a_o man_n be_v leave_v alone_o temptation_n entice_v even_o to_o the_o devil_n himself_o and_o therefore_o thy_o child_n pray_v to_o be_v deliver_v from_o evil_a understand_v thereby_o satan_n himself_o the_o sour_a and_o supporter_n of_o all_o evil_a and_o this_o thy_o child_n do_v aswell_o for_o other_o as_o for_o themselves_o so_o that_o i_o may_v learn_v hereby_o many_o good_a thing_n first_o to_o remember_v often_o our_o infirmity_n and_o weakness_n &_o the_o dangerous_a estate_n we_o stand_v in_o in_o respect_n of_o our_o flesh_n of_o the_o world_n which_o be_v full_a of_o evil_n of_o satan_n which_o seek_v to_o five_o we_o and_o as_o a_o roar_a lion_n to_o destroy_v we_o and_o of_o our_o sin_n which_o deserve_v all_o kind_n of_o punishment_n and_o correction_n that_o i_o may_v with_o thy_o child_n fear_v thou_o watch_n pray_v and_o desire_v the_o day_n of_o redemption_n and_o deliverance_n from_o all_o evil_n again_o i_o may_v learn_v here_o that_o to_o avoid_v all_o danger_n and_o evil_n be_v not_o in_o the_o power_n of_o man_n but_o only_o thy_o work_n by_o reason_n whereof_o i_o shall_v consider_v thy_o great_a goodness_n which_o hitherto_o have_v keep_v i_o from_o so_o many_o evil_n both_o of_o soul_n and_o body_n yea_o of_o name_n good_n etc._n etc._n as_o thou_o have_v do_v in_o my_o infancy_n childhood_n youth_n middle_a age_n etc._n etc._n three_o i_o may_v learn_v here_o that_o i_o shall_v be_v careful_a for_o other_o both_o that_o they_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o their_o evil_n and_o that_o they_o may_v be_v preserve_v from_o temptation_n and_o from_o be_v overcome_v in_o the_o same_o &_o therefore_o thou_o teach_v i_o not_o to_o pray_v deliver_v i_o from_o evil_a simple_o but_o deliver_v we_o from_o evil_a last_o of_o all_o i_o be_o teach_v hereby_o to_o see_v thy_o goodness_n towards_o i_o which_o will_v deliver_v i_o from_o evil_a and_o from_o be_v overcome_v in_o temptation_n for_o thou_o will_v not_o have_v i_o ask_v for_o that_o which_o i_o shall_v not_o certain_o look_v for_o at_o thy_o hand_n by_o reason_n

end_v the_o combat_n which_o during_o this_o life_n i_o must_v sustain_v in_o the_o end_n i_o may_v attain_v to_o thy_o heavenly_a rest_n which_o be_v prepare_v for_o i_o through_o christ_n jesus_n our_o lord_n and_o saviour_n amen_n a_o prayer_n take_v out_o of_o the_o first_o psalm_n almighty_a and_o most_o gracious_a god_n take_v away_o from_o we_o all_o evil_a counsel_n and_o then_o our_o sinneâ—â—_n suffer_v we_o not_o to_o run_v into_o a_o ungodly_a and_o wickedlife_o and_o final_o keep_v out_o mind_v far_o from_o the_o contempt_n of_o godliness_n and_o scorn_v of_o virtue_n &_o in_o the_o stead_n of_o these_o evil_n grant_v that_o we_o may_v continual_o be_v occupy_v in_o thy_o law_n and_o sacred_a scripture_n that_o we_o be_v not_o carry_v about_o like_o the_o wicked_a &_o like_o dust_n and_o fruitless_a chaff_n with_o every_o blast_n of_o affection_n and_o doctrine_n but_o rather_o that_o we_o as_o tree_n plant_v by_o the_o water_n brook_n endue_v with_o the_o life_n yea_o wtout_fw-fr all_o shame_n neglect_v &_o scorn_v wherefore_o it_o be_v no_o marvel_n if_o wâ—_n in_o the_o stead_n of_o that_o happiness_n and_o quiet_a peace_n which_o we_o alas_o have_v to_o long_o abuse_v be_v now_o compel_v to_o suffer_v all_o heavy_a grievous_a and_o most_o bitter_a plague_n but_o now_o o_o god_n in_o humbleness_n of_o hart_n we_o flee_v unto_o thou_o confess_v our_o grievous_a offence_n and_o we_o most_o humble_o and_o hearty_o beseech_v thou_o that_o those_o evil_n which_o we_o so_o foolish_o and_o wretched_o have_v commit_v thou_o will_v merciful_o forgive_v it_o be_v not_o so_o as_o afterward_o to_o their_o great_a comfort_n they_o find_v and_o feel_v but_o even_o the_o child_n of_o god_n themselves_o think_v that_o they_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o old_a &_o that_o the_o spirit_n and_o seed_n of_o god_n be_v lose_v &_o go_v away_o where_o yet_o notwithstanding_o the_o truth_n be_v otherwise_o the_o spirit_n &_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n at_o the_o their_o sense_n but_o not_o according_a to_o the_o truth_n desire_v of_o god_n to_o give_v they_o again_o his_o spirit_n as_o though_o they_o have_v lose_v it_o and_o he_o have_v take_v it_o away_o
