of_o such_o a_o defect_n or_o imperfection_n in_o the_o body_n of_o this_o man_n as_o by_o any_o natural_a mean_n or_o remedy_n that_o can_v be_v use_v be_v altogether_o incurable_a and_o thereby_o to_o give_v a_o undeniable_a proof_n that_o he_o be_v endue_v with_o a_o divine_a power_n and_o consequent_o that_o he_o be_v the_o messiah_n he_o be_v therefore_o bear_v blind_a that_o the_o power_n of_o our_o saviour_n shall_v be_v manifest_v in_o he_o but_o as_o the_o word_n may_v be_v general_o understand_v and_o apply_v to_o any_o other_o case_n of_o the_o like_a nature_n the_o mean_v be_v this_o that_o when_o any_o temporal_a evil_n or_o affliction_n befall_v any_o man_n which_o be_v not_o design_v for_o a_o punishment_n of_o his_o sin_n and_o to_o make_v he_o a_o example_n of_o the_o be_v in_o truth_n much_o better_a than_o the_o day_n of_o their_o birth_n and_o upon_o both_o these_o account_n we_o also_o may_v very_o well_o celebrate_v this_o day_n of_o the_o martyrdom_n of_o our_o late_a pious_a and_o gracious_a sovereign_a k._n charles_n i._o as_o his_o birth_n day_n and_o keep_v it_o as_o one_o of_o our_o high_a festival_n have_v he_o fall_v as_o the_o ancient_a martyr_n do_v by_o the_o hand_n of_o infidel_n or_o stranger_n or_o by_o any_o other_o hand_n than_o our_o own_o but_o this_o be_v our_o unhappiness_n and_o indeed_o a_o most_o just_a cause_n of_o the_o bitter_a grief_n and_o deep_a humiliation_n to_o we_o that_o we_o can_v never_o think_v of_o his_o exemplary_a piety_n and_o goodness_n without_o at_o the_o same_o time_n reflect_v upon_o our_o own_o great_a wickedness_n and_o that_o the_o more_o we_o admire_v his_o virtue_n the_o more_o we_o must_v condemn_v ourselves_o through_o who_o iniquity_n it_o thus_o happen_v to_o he_o for_o though_o the_o justice_n of_o god_n may_v be_v easy_o clear_v and_o vindicate_v in_o suffer_v the_o best_a of_o man_n to_o be_v grievous_o afflict_v to_o be_v revile_v and_o persecute_v and_o even_o to_o be_v barbarous_o murder_v by_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o wicked_a though_o i_o say_v these_o dispensation_n of_o providence_n so_o far_o as_o they_o be_v the_o act_n of_o providence_n be_v both_o
