he_o be_v try_v if_o the_o scripture_n be_v not_o a_o rule_n and_o so_o these_o alas_o poor_a creature_n find_v such_o and_o such_o persuasion_n within_o they_o great_o fear_v to_o contradict_v or_o gainsay_v it_o it_o be_v no_o less_o to_o they_o then_o to_o contradict_v or_o gainsay_v the_o mind_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n they_o believe_v that_o it_o be_v christ_n the_o light_n that_o speak_v within_o they_o yea_o although_o their_o inward_a persuasion_n never_o so_o much_o contradict_v the_o scripture_n yet_o they_o adhere_v to_o they_o not_o dare_v to_o question_v the_o light_n as_o they_o call_v it_o within_o they_o but_o present_o conclude_v that_o they_o have_v understand_v the_o scripture_n and_o so_o pervert_v the_o plain_a meaning_n thereof_o into_o some_o kind_n of_o imagine_v mystery_n that_o so_o they_o may_v one_o way_n or_o other_o cause_n the_o scripture_n without_o to_o speak_v agreeable_a to_o that_o they_o call_v light_n within_o they_o and_o that_o i_o wrong_v not_o these_o man_n hereby_o consider_v one_o thing_n of_o many_o that_o may_v be_v instance_a namely_o touch_v woman_n who_o in_o all_o plainness_n be_v forbid_v by_o the_o scripture_n to_o teach_v in_o the_o church_n but_o since_o the_o spirit_n in_o these_o man_n say_v that_o woman_n may_v teach_v they_o adhere_v thereunto_o and_o pervert_v the_o plain_a scripture_n into_o a_o mystery_n and_o so_o declare_v that_o the_o woman_n which_o be_v forbid_v to_o teach_v 1_o tim._n 2.12,13_o be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o the_o flesh_n either_o in_o man_n or_o woman_n and_o not_o the_o you_o have_v either_o land_n in_o possession_n as_o your_o own_o or_o a_o good_a farm_n or_o good_a trade_n or_o good_a friend_n or_o the_o like_a if_o not_o so_o i_o will_v know_v what_o mean_v then_o the_o usual_a complaint_n discontent_n great_a fear_n and_o vexation_n of_o spirit_n when_o at_o any_o time_n these_o outward_a thing_n fail_v or_o begin_v to_o fail_v if_o your_o hope_n do_v arise_v from_o the_o only_a pure_a fountain_n to_o wit_n god_n gracious_a promise_n why_o then_o shall_v you_o be_v so_o disquiet_v for_o the_o decay_a or_o fail_v in_o measure_n of_o these_o outward_a thing_n do_v not_o make_v god_n promise_v to_o be_v no_o promise_n he_o abide_v faithful_a and_o all_o his_o promise_n be_v yea_o and_o amen_o in_o christ_n you_o indeed_o may_v sometime_o upon_o he_o for_o to_o receive_v that_o which_o you_o have_v ask_v of_o he_o contrariwise_o as_o the_o faith_n of_o the_o faithful_a render_v they_o happy_a and_o in_o all_o condition_n comfortable_a
