such_o thing_n a●_z be_v of_o this_o sort_n ●hen_o as_o in_o any_o action_n they_o be_v move_v ●y_a their_o own_o inward_a move_n be_v worthy_o say_v to_o work_v and_o therefore_o ●●_o this_o kind_a of_o instrument_n only_o fal●th_v the_o difference_n of_o well_o or_o ill_o do_v ●nd_v in_o this_o respect_n they_o can_v not_o proper_o be_v call_v instrument_n but_o rather_o efficient_a or_o work_a cause_n now_o i_o call_v that_o a_o evil_a action_n whi●●_n have_v not_o the_o reveal_v or_o open_v will_n 〈◊〉_d god_n for_o the_o end_n and_o contrariwise_o i_o c●●_n it_o a_o good_a action_n which_o have_v respect_n or_o look_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god._n ¶_o the_o same_o albeit_o they_o be_v cause_n 〈◊〉_d far_o as_o they_o work_v by_o their_o own_o proper_a motion_n yet_o in_o another_o respect_n the●_z be_v call_v instrument_n to_o wit_n as_o ofte●_n and_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o they_o be_v move_v b●_z another_o as_o when_o the_o hangman_n by_o th●_z commandment_n of_o the_o magistrate_n kill_v a_o man_n or_o when_o as_o by_o impulsion_n or_o set_v on_o of_o the_o devil_n man_n hurt●_n one_o another_o or_o when_o as_o the_o commandment_n and_o in_o the_o name_n of_o any_o we_o do●_n either_o good_a or_o evil_n unto_o any_o man._n ¶_o in_o this_o kind_n of_o action_n all_o man_n s●●_n that_o one_o &_o the_o same_o work_n be_v attribute_v unto_o two_o to_o wit_n unto_o the_o one_o as_o to_o he_o that_o move_v and_o work_v by_o another_o as_o by_o a_o instrument_n and_o to_o the_o other_o as_o to_o he_o that_o work_v himselfe●_n for_o he_o be_v in_o such_o sort_n a_o instrument_n that_o he_o also_o work_v by_o his_o own_o inward_a motion_n and_o not_o simple_o as_o the_o hammer_n or_o be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o the_o smith_n ¶_o yea_o for_o this_o double_a respect_n a_o double_a work_n seem_v sometime_o to_o be_v do_v in_o so_o much_o that_o the_o one_o may_v be_v laudable_a or_o praise_v worthy_a and_o the_o other_o wicked_a 〈◊〉_d if_o the_o magistrate_n deliver_v a_o man_n that_o be_v a_o offender_n unto_o the_o hangman_n to_o be_v execute_v there_o be_v no_o man_n but_o will_v worthy_o praise_v this_o work_n but_o if_o the_o hangman_n be_v move_v with_o hatred_n or_o covetousness_n or_o any_o other_o wicked_a lust_n rather_o than_o look_v unto_o the_o commandment_n of_o the_o judge_n do_v kill_v the_o same_o offender_n certain_o before_o god_n be_v can_v not_o escape_v the_o crime_n of_o murder_n ¶_o now_o let_v we_o apply_v these_o thing_n unto_o god_n who_o efficacy_n or_o strength_n we_o have_v prove_v before_o to_o step_n in_o in_o all_o thing_n ●hat_n be_v do_v without_o exception_n and_o in_o such_o sort_n that_o by_o those_o thing_n which_o he_o have_v create_v as_o by_o instrument_n he_o do_v execute_v or_o perform_v in_o his_o time_n whatsoever_o 〈◊〉_d have_v decree_v from_o everlasting_a ¶_o whatsoever_o god_n do_v be_v good_a see_v from_o he_o which_o be_v the_o chief_a good_a no_o evil_a can_v open_a will_n of_o god_n they_o work_v well_o and_o god_n also_o work_v well_o by_o they_o whereby_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o that_o work_n be_v always_o good_a as_o when_o good_a angel_n do_v that_o which_o god_n command_v and_o holy_a man_n follow_v god_n call_v they_o ¶_o evil_a instrument_n evil_n i_o say_v not_o by_o creation_n but_o by_o corruption_n in_o so_o far_o as_o they_o work_v they_o do_v always_o work_v evil_a and_o therefore_o they_o worthy_o incur_v or_o run_v into_o god_n his_o anger_n but_o so_o far_o forth_o as_o god_n work_v by_o they_o they_o do_v serve_v to_o the_o g●●_n work●_n of_o god_n either_o against_o their_o will_n or_o else_o of_o ignorance_n for_o god_n by_o what_o instrument_n soever_o he_o work_v work_v always_o well_o ¶_o now_o he_o so_o work_v by_o those_o instrument_n as_o he_o do_v not_o only_o suffer_v they_o to_o work_v neither_o only_a moderate_a or_o rule_v the_o event_n or_o thing_n that_o fall_v out_o but_o also_o he_o raise_v they_o up_o stir_v move_v guide_v and_o that_o which_o be_v great_a of_o all_o he_o create_v they_o to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v work_v by_o they_o which_o he_o have_v appoint_v all_o which_o thing_n god_n ●oth_z right_o and_o without_o any_o injustice_n ¶_o for_o as_o often_o as_o one_o evil_n man_n sin_v either_o against_o himself_o or_o against_o another_o wicked_a person_n god_n without_o any_o sin_n make_v either_o that_o the_o evil_n man_n take_v vengeance_n upon_o himself_o or_o that_o evil_n man_n shall_v punish_v other_o evil_a man_n with_o such_o punishment_n as_o they_o have_v deserve_v both_o which_o work_v of_o god_n be_v most_o righteous_a and_o by_o such_o example_n of_o his_o judgement_n god_n lift_v up_o &_o comfort_v those_o that_o be_v he_o ¶_o but_o so_o often_o as_o wicked_a man_n do_v hurt_v the_o good_a the_o wicked_a man_n sin_n &_o in_o the_o end_n suffer_v such_o punishment_n as_o they_o have_v deserve_v yet_o nevertheless_o by_o they_o in_o lord_n chasten_v instru●●eth_v and_o strengthen_v his_o own_o and_o 〈◊〉_d by_o the_o open_a enemy_n of_o his_o church_n make_v his_o church_n glorious_a yet_o can_v not_o these_o evil_a instrument_n be_v say_v to_o obey_v god_n because_o all_o be_v it_o god_n by_o they_o bring_v by●_n work_v to_o pass_v yet_o they_o so_o far_o as_o in_o they_o be_v and_o as_o concern_v their_o own_o counsel_n and_o pain_n of_o sin_n agree_v not_o but_o to_o the_o vicious_a and_o saultie_a quality_n which_o be_v whole_o in_o the_o work_a instrument_n ¶_o by_o reason_n of_o this_o ●●●rupted_a quality_n the_o work_n which_o of_o itself_o be_v but_o one_o be_v make_v some_o manner_n of_o 〈◊〉_d tw●●old_n and_o double_a insomuch_o that_o the_o one_o that_o be_v the_o just_a work_n of_o god_n direct_o fight_v against_o the_o other●_n 〈◊〉_d the_o ●niust_a work_n of_o man._n ¶_o yet_o god_n work_v otherwise_o by_o the_o good_a instrument_n then_o by_o the_o evil_a for_o beside_o y_fw-fr he_o work_v his_o work_n by_o the_o good_a instrument_n the_o good_a instrument_n also_o do_v work_v their_o own_o work_n by_o the_o same_o force_n &_o effiacy_n which_o the_o lord_n give_v unto_o they_o final_o the_o lord_n work_v his_o work_n by_o they_o and_o also_o work_v in_o they_o to_o will_n &_o to_o perform_v but_o by_o the_o wicked_a as_o by_o satan_n or_o by_o man_n in_o so_o far_o as_o they_o be_v not_o regenerate_v or_o bear_v anew_o as_o often_o as_o the_o lord_n execute_v or_o perform_v the_o just_a counsel_n and_o decree_n of_o his_o everlasting_a will_n he_o in_o deed_n show_v forth_o his_o strength_n and_o efficacy_n in_o his_o work_n by_o they_o either_o not_o know_v o●_n it_o or_o against_o their_o will_n and_o purpose_n but_o yet_o in_o so_o far_o as_o they_o work_v their_o own_o work_n the_o lord_n work_v not_o in_o they_o but_o let_v loose_a the_o reins_n unto_o satan_n to_o who_o by_o his_o just_a judgement_n he_o give_v they_o over_o be_v wicked_a to_o be_v move_v and_o stir_v forward_o that_o they_o may_v be_v carry_v away_o of_o their_o own_o will_n and_o he_o ¶_o therefore_o we_o do_v not_o refuse_v this_o term_n suffer_v or_o grant_v neither_o yet_o come_v it_o sufferance_n which_o augustine_n no_o doubt_n take_v of_o the_o greek_n and_o they_o receive_v from_o augustine_n therefore_o do_v we_o state_o refuse_v it_o ¶_o for_o the_o sophister_n set_v will_n against_o permission_n or_o sufferance_n whereof_o do_v follow_v you_o god_n sufferth_n the_o thing_n

not●_n or_o consideration_n consideration_n which_o be_v to_o consider_v whether_o a_o man_n in_o this_o life_n may_v be_v certain_a of_o his_o election_n to_o answer_v this_o question_n we_o have_v first_o to_o understand_v that_o although_o our_o election_n and_o vocation_n simple_o in_o deed_n he_o know_v to_o god_n ●●mply_o only_o himself_o a_o priore_n yet_o not_o withstand_v it_o may_v be_v who_o object_n be_v the_o body_n and_o passion_n of_o christ_n jesus_n crucify_v so_o that_o in_o the_o a●te_n of_o justify_v these_o two_o faith_n and_o christ_n have_v a_o mutual_a relation_n relative_n and_o must_v always_o concur_v together_o faith_n as_o the_o action_n which_o apprehend_v christ_n as_o the_o object_n which_o be_v apprehend_v for_o neither_o do_v the_o passion_n of_o christ_n save_v without_o faith_n not_o neither_o do_v faith_n help_v except_o it_o be_v in_o christ_n as_o we_o see_v the_o body_n of_o man_n sustain_v by_o bread_n and_o drinker_n not_o except_o of_o christneyther_o do_v again_o the_o same_o blood_n of_o christ_n profit_v we_o except_o by_o faith_n it_o be_v receive_v and_o as_o the_o son_n be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o light_n ●●y●eth_v
