so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o fraud_n use_v therein_o but_o that_o the_o intent_n and_o conscience_n of_o the_o receiver_n be_v upright_o and_o free_a in_o that_o behalf_n when_o the_o borower_n use_v either_o yearly_a or_o quarterly_a or_o at_o certain_a time_n to_o geve_v always_o one_o certain_a thing_n and_o that_o also_o in_o money_n it_o worthy_o make_v the_o receiver_n to_o be_v suspect_v as_o a_o usurer_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o good_a so_o to_o do_v if_o it_o be_v but_o for_o the_o save_n of_o a_o man_n good_a name_n and_o for_o the_o avoid_n of_o slander_n and_o offence_n but_o yet_o whether_o the_o receiver_n be_v in_o deed_n a_o usurer_n or_o no_o before_o god_n it_o depend_v altogethers_o upon_o his_o conscience_n which_o if_o it_o look_v not_o for_o the_o bribe_n and_o likewise_o if_o he_o lend_v not_o his_o money_n for_o that_o end_n or_o leave_v not_o the_o money_n therefore_o in_o the_o other_o hand_n he_o may_v be_v free_a from_o the_o vice_n of_o usury_n i_o can_v not_o easy_o devise_v how_o he_o shall_v be_v excuse_v from_o usury_n who_o though_o he_o bargain_n for_o no_o gain_n yet_o not_o tarrieng_v till_o his_o money_n or_o stuff_n be_v borrow_v usance_n it_o be_v the_o vice_n of_o usury_n for_o the_o length_n of_o the_o time_n can_v never_o be_v any_o just_a cause_n why_o i_o shall_v receive_v more_o than_o i_o delyver_v since_o it_o be_v straight_o his_o money_n who_o receave_v it_o and_o it_o stand_v at_o his_o peril_n and_o therefore_o he_o pay_v i_o for_o the_o use_n of_o his_o own_o which_o be_v unjust_a who_o so_o sell_v his_o ware_n the_o derer_n only_o because_o the_o money_n be_v not_o pay_v he_o out_o of_o hand_n require_v that_o overplus_n of_o money_n only_o for_o the_o time_n sake_n and_o that_o be_v a_o kind_n of_o usury_n for_o if_o the_o seller_n who_o shall_v have_v receive_v for_o example_n sake_n forty_o shilling_n for_o his_o ox_n demand_v seven_o noble_n because_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v pay_v before_o the_o quarter_n day_n he_o do_v as_o it_o be_v lend_v the_o bier_n forty_o shilling_n for_o so_o long_a time_n to_o receive_v for_o it_o one_o noble_a overplus_n which_o be_v evident_a usury_n the_o like_a be_v if_o contrary_a wise_a i_o owe_v one_o hundred_o pound_n at_o a_o certain_a day_n do_v pay_v ten_o pound_n the_o less_o only_o because_o i_o pay_v it_o before_o the_o day_n for_o the_o money_n which_o at_o the_o day_n shall_v be_v due_a be_v as_o it_o be_v lend_v for_o so_o long_o upon_o ten_o pound_n in_o the_o hundred_o he_o that_o buy_v a_o piece_n of_o ground_n under_o the_o rather_o he_o lend_v his_o money_n for_o usury_n and_o cloak_v the_o matter_n with_o the_o name_n of_o buy_v if_o i_o lend_v money_n upon_o the_o pledge_n of_o certain_a ground_n or_o house_n take_v up_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n the_o fruit_n of_o the_o same_o ground_n or_o house_n and_o afterward_o receive_v my_o principal_n again_o it_o be_v usury_n for_o i_o ought_v to_o take_v the_o fruit_n no_o long_o then_o till_o i_o have_v my_o own_o principal_a â–ª_o and_o in_o that_o case_n not_o to_o receive_v any_o other_o money_n â–ª_o the_o rest_n be_v unjust_o take_v but_o those_o be_v only_o to_o be_v account_v fruit_n which_o remain_v all_o just_a burden_n except_v and_o debate_v every_o danger_n of_o the_o money_n or_o cause_n of_o doubt_n do_v not_o take_v away_o the_o vice_n of_o usury_n except_o the_o danger_n or_o doubt_n do_v consist_v rather_o in_o that_o which_o may_v happen_v in_o the_o price_n of_o the_o thing_n itself_o then_o in_o the_o only_a respect_n of_o tyme._n for_o who_o so_o ever_o take_v overplus_n in_o respect_n of_o time_n only_o that_o a_o other_o keep_v his_o money_n though_o he_o be_v content_a to_o adventure_v the_o peril_n of_o care_v that_o money_n over_o the_o sea_n yet_o he_o thereby_o avoyd_v not_o usury_n because_o his_o bargain_n ground_v upon_o the_o gain_n of_o that_o time_n wherein_o the_o money_n be_v none_o of_o his_o own_o
