which_o god_n can_v be_v except_o you_o will_v say_v that_o god_n of_o his_o mere_a goodness_n and_o mercy_n call_v they_o for_o the_o virtue_n and_o godliness_n which_o he_o mean_v to_o call_v they_o unto_o and_o in_o this_o order_n begin_v to_o work_v i_o mean_v in_o bestow_v upon_o they_o so_o liberal_o &_o by_o that_o mean_n to_o charge_v they_o with_o his_o expectation_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o great_a talon_n commit_v unto_o they_o which_o thing_n you_o seem_v to_o allege_v as_o no_o small_a cause_n and_o consideration_n of_o the_o high_a assess_n of_o the_o fee_n and_o charge_n desirous_a of_o other_o man_n and_o of_o silla_n that_o cruel_a tyrant_n he_o report_v this_o he_o will_v give_v no_o man_n more_o frank_o lend_v he_o will_v also_o very_o liberal_o but_o what_o soever_o he_o can_v borrow_n he_o will_v never_o pay_v again_o now_o unto_o the_o three_o part_n to_o wit_n pay_v a_o man_n debt_n and_o which_o say_v he_o i_o call_v the_o most_o high_a and_o sovereign_a virtue_n and_o the_o most_o proper_a unto_o godliness_n and_o that_o for_o these_o cause_n first_o it_o neither_o corrupt_v nor_o dishonest_v the_o doer_n nor_o the_o sufferer_n thereof_o for_o i_o be_o sure_a all_o man_n will_v confess_v that_o a_o man_n may_v honest_o pay_v that_o which_o he_o owe_v and_o he_o unto_o who_o he_o ought_v it_o may_v honest_o crave_v the_o same_o pay_v of_o debt_n corrupt_v no_o justice_n neither_o i_o suppose_v can_v be_v prove_v ever_o to_o have_v do_v in_o pay_v of_o debt_n there_o be_v no_o ostentation_n of_o vain_a glory_n for_o it_o be_v not_o the_o deed_n of_o a_o proud_a mind_n who_o property_n be_v not_o to_o acknowledge_v any_o good_a turn_n for_o that_o may_v charge_v he_o with_o duty_n of_o acquitail_n whereon_o the_o proud_a and_o ungodly_a differ_v chief_o from_o virtuous_a and_o godly_a for_o the_o proud_a may_v not_o seem_v to_o have_v need_v any_o man_n good_a turn_n neither_o to_o have_v use_v their_o help_n both_o which_o thing_n in_o pay_v their_o debt_n they_o shall_v implicative_o confess_v to_o have_v do_v and_o therefore_o be_v they_o ashamed_a to_o repay_v what_o so_o they_o can_v borrow_v for_o the_o conclusion_n aforesaid_a and_o that_o stand_v well_o with_o the_o say_n of_o jesus_n of_o sirack_n who_o say_v that_o what_o so_o the_o ungodly_a can_v borrow_v he_o account_v it_o as_o if_o he_o have_v find_v it_o whereof_o the_o reason_n be_v this_o although_o pure_a need_n and_o nescessitie_n constarin_fw-mi they_o oft_o to_o use_v this_o word_n lend_v yet_o they_o use_v he_o for_o a_o cloak_n of_o dissimulation_n as_o the_o effect_n show_v for_o this_o be_v evident_a that_o there_o be_v but_o four_o way_n of_o attaimment_n or_o get_v of_o whatsoever_o thing_n for_o it_o be_v either_o give_v we_o lend_v we_o orelse_o we_o take_v it_o perforce_o orelse_o we_o find_v it_o so_o that_o whatsoever_o be_v lend_v unto_o such_o people_n either_o it_o be_v give_v or_o lend_v or_o take_v by_o force_n orelse_o find_v give_v you_o will_v say_v it_o be_v not_o nor_o so_o mean_v by_o you_o and_o you_o shall_v find_v the_o same_o by_o he_o that_o take_v it_o at_o your_o hand_n for_o he_o will_v never_o give_v you_o thank_n therefore_o neither_o see_v you_o but_o against_o his_o heart_n borrow_v it_o be_v not_o upon_o his_o behalf_n and_o consequent_o not_o upon_o you_o howsoever_o you_o mean_v in_o depart_v therewith_o for_o except_v there_o be_v a_o borrower_n there_o can_v be_v no_o lender_n for_o they_o be_v correlative_a and_o none_o can_v be_v without_o other_o no_o more_o than_o there_o can_v be_v a_o father_n without_o a_o child_n then_o if_o the_o one_o do_v not_o borrow_v the_o other_o do_v not_o lend_v he_o borrow_v not_o for_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o with_o his_o good_a will_v he_o never_o mean_v to_o pay_v it_o again_o ergo_fw-la you_o lend_v it_o not_o he_o take_v not_o from_o you_o perforce_o for_o yourself_o deliver_v it_o so_o than_o if_o you_o neither_o give_v it_o lend_v it_o neither_o leave_v by_o force_n then_o there_o remain_v but_o a_o four_o which_o be_v that_o you_o lose_v it_o and_o he_o have_v find_v it_o according_a to_o the_o say_n of_o jesus_n of_o sirack_n for_o what_o soever_o a_o man_n find_v he_o take_v it_o from_o no_o man_n neither_o be_v he_o bind_v to_o thank_v any_o man_n therefore_o and_o that_o this_o be_v the_o manner_n of_o the_o ungodly_a the_o prophet_n david_n bear_v witness_v where_o he_o say_v the_o ungodly_a borrow_v and_o pay_v not_o again_o but_o the_o righteous_a be_v merciful_a and_o liberal_a thus_o it_o appear_v quoth_v our_o host_n that_o who_o so_o true_o pase_v his_o debt_n he_o can_v not_o therein_o be_v call_v a_o evil_a person_n or_o be_v say_v to_o have_v corrupt_v or_o dishonest_v neither_o himself_o or_o any_o other_o body_n and_o therein_o far_o excel_v this_o quality_n both_o the_o other_o ¶_o but_o now_o it_o rest_v i_o to_o prove_v quoth_v he_o that_o this_o word_n to_o pay_v a_o man_n debt_n do_v include_v both_o the_o rest_n so_o far_o forth_o as_o they_o may_v or_o can_v be_v call_v virtue_n or_o property_n of_o godliness_n which_o i_o will_v prove_v in_o this_o order_n ¶_o first_n i_o say_v that_o whatsoever_o we_o have_v here_o in_o this_o world_n we_o have_v it_o at_o the_o bountiful_a &_o merciful_a hand_n of_o our_o god_n as_o lend_v and_o which_o he_o may_v at_o his_o pleasure_n take_v from_o we_o as_o also_o we_o daily_o see_v he_o do_v then_o if_o we_o have_v nothing_o but_o that_o we_o have_v receive_v as_o saint_n paul_n say_v we_o must_v needs_o confess_v we_o be_v indebt_v unto_o he_o therefore_o how_o then_o can_v we_o pay_v unto_o he_o our_o debt_n for_o he_o receive_v no_o money_n we_o can_v feast_v he_o
