therefore_o let_v we_o pray_v with_o the_o prophet_n psalm_n 12._o lord_n lighten_v my_o eye_n that_o i_o fall_v not_o in_o death_n and_o psalm_n 118._o give_v i_o understanding_n and_o i_o will_v search_v thy_o law_n yea_o i_o will_v keep_v it_o with_o my_o whole_a hart_n let_v we_o desire_v true_a knowledge_n that_o we_o do_v not_o leave_v god_n that_o we_o may_v remain_v with_o he_o and_o be_v in_o his_o house_n be_v content_a to_o be_v rule_v by_o he_o &_o keep_v his_o commandment_n not_o only_o ignorance_n of_o god_n goodness_n blessing_n gift_n and_o grace_n do_v turn_v we_o away_o alter_v a_o young_a man_n mind_n and_o a_o wilful_a sinner_n until_o he_o have_v full_o try_v his_o own_o way_n beyond_o all_o measure_n they_o trust_v too_o much_o to_o themselves_o to_o their_o own_o strength_n and_o wisdom_n policy_n and_o fetch_n think_v themselves_o to_o be_v of_o such_o good_a government_n that_o they_o know_v well_o enough_o how_o to_o order_v &_o to_o dispose_v their_o own_o matter_n and_o this_o self_n wisdom_n be_v the_o cause_n that_o many_o forsake_v god_n therefore_o the_o lord_n say_v revel_v 3._o thou_o say_v i_o be_o rich_a and_o want_v nothing_o and_o know_v not_o that_o thou_o be_v miserable_a and_o poor_a and_o blind_a and_o naked_a but_o how_o little_a we_o be_v able_a to_o do_v without_o god_n help_n and_o grace_n shall_v be_v show_v hereafter_o peter_n be_v bold_a and_o presume_v say_v though_o all_o man_n be_v offend_v yet_o will_v not_o i_o be_v offend_v who_o because_o he_o trust_v too_o much_o to_o his_o own_o strength_n be_v
