have_v do_v unto_o us._n where_o first_o we_o have_v to_o mark_v the_o pitiful_a estate_n of_o those_o law_n miserable_a blind_a be_v they_o who_o seek_v liâ—e_z in_o perfect_a observance_n of_o the_o law_n who_o seek_v life_n in_o the_o observance_n of_o the_o law_n which_o here_o the_o apostle_n say_v be_v impossible_a for_o the_o law_n to_o give_v they_o seek_v life_n where_o they_o shall_v never_o find_v it_o the_o apostle_n in_o another_o place_n call_v the_o law_n the_o ministry_n of_o death_n and_o condemnation_n and_o that_o because_o it_o instant_o bind_v man_n under_o death_n for_o every_o transgression_n of_o her_o commandment_n so_o that_o he_o who_o have_v eye_n to_o see_v what_o a_o universal_a rebellion_n of_o nature_n there_o be_v in_o man_n unregenerate_a to_o god_n holy_a law_n yea_o what_o imperfection_n and_o discordance_n with_o the_o law_n be_v remanent_fw-la in_o they_o who_o be_v renew_a by_o grace_n may_v easy_o espy_v the_o blind_a presumption_n of_o those_o that_o seek_v their_o life_n in_o the_o ministry_n of_o death_n yet_o so_o universal_a be_v this_o error_n that_o it_o have_v nature_n yet_o such_o be_v all_o the_o child_n of_o adam_n by_o nature_n overgo_v the_o whole_a posterity_n of_o adam_n nature_n teach_v all_o man_n who_o be_v not_o illuminate_v by_o christ_n to_o seek_v salvation_n in_o their_o own_o deed_n that_o be_v to_o stand_v to_o the_o covenant_n of_o work_n but_o the_o supernatural_a doctrine_n of_o the_o evangelist_n teach_v we_o to_o transcend_v nature_n to_o go_v out_o of_o ourselves_o and_o to_o seek_v salvation_n in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o so_o to_o use_v the_o law_n not_o that_o we_o seek_v life_n by_o fulfil_v it_o which_o here_o be_v impossible_a but_o as_o a_o schoolmaster_n to_o lead_v we_o unto_o christ_n in_o who_o we_o have_v remission_n of_o our_o sin_n sanctification_n of_o our_o nature_n acceptation_n of_o our_o imperfect_a obedience_n benefit_n which_o the_o law_n can_v never_o aford_v unto_o us._n inasmuch_o as_o it_o be_v weak_a because_o of_o the_o flesh_n the_o apostle_n do_v in_o such_o sort_n ascribe_v to_o the_o law_n a_o impotency_n to_o save_v we_o that_o he_o blame_v not_o the_o law_n but_o the_o corruption_n of_o nature_n the_o impotency_n of_o the_o law_n come_v not_o of_o the_o law_n which_o be_v good_a but_o of_o our_o own_o corrupt_a nature_n our_o fleshly_a nature_n be_v not_o able_a to_o fulfil_v that_o righteousness_n which_o the_o law_n require_v yea_o as_o the_o apostle_n have_v teach_v we_o before_o so_o far_o be_v our_o nature_n pervert_v by_o our_o apostasy_n from_o god_n that_o we_o be_v not_o only_o unable_a to_o do_v that_o which_o the_o good_a and_o holy_a law_n of_o god_n require_v but_o also_o we_o become_v worse_o by_o the_o law_n for_o by_o the_o commandment_n of_o the_o law_n sin_n revive_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o take_v occasion_n by_o the_o law_n to_o become_v more_o sinful_a and_o so_o like_o a_o desperate_a disease_n it_o convert_v that_o medicine_n which_o be_v minister_v to_o cure_v it_o into_o a_o nourishment_n and_o confirmation_n of_o the_o sickness_n itself_o it_o be_v law_n our_o nature_n become_v worse_a by_o the_o law_n the_o nature_n of_o contrary_n that_o every_o of_o they_o intend_v the_o self_n to_o expel_v another_o whereof_o it_o come_v that_o there_o be_v great_a cold_a in_o the_o bosom_n of_o the_o earth_n even_o then_o when_o the_o sun_n with_o great_a vehemency_n shine_v on_o it_o to_o califie_v and_o heat_v it_o even_o so_o our_o corrupt_a nature_n do_v never_o show_v itself_o more_o rebellious_a and_o stubborn_a than_o when_o the_o law_n of_o god_n begin_v to_o rectify_v it_o as_o a_o unruly_a and_o untamed_a horse_n the_o more_o he_o be_v spur_v forward_o the_o fast_o he_o run_v backward_o so_o the_o perverse_a nature_n of_o man_n nititur_fw-la semper_fw-la in_o vetitum_fw-la be_v so_o far_o from_o be_v reform_v by_o the_o law_n that_o by_o the_o contrary_a sin_n that_o be_v dead_a without_o the_o law_n be_v reviue_v by_o the_o law_n and_o take_v occasion_n to_o work_v in_o we_o all_o manner_n of_o concupiscence_n the_o apostle_n be_v
