teach_v all_o man_n that_o fear_v of_o god_n to_o speak_v with_o application_n to_o themselves_o else_o they_o can_v have_v that_o strong_a consolation_n which_o be_v suitable_a to_o the_o case_n they_o be_v suppose_v to_o be_v in_o here_o sure_o i_o know_v it_o shall_v be_v well_o with_o they_o that_o fear_v god_n 8._o only_o these_o who_o have_v such_o a_o holy_a fear_n of_o offend_a god_n flow_v from_o the_o believe_a consideration_n of_o his_o sovereignty_n and_o greatness_n jer._n 10.7_o his_o goodness_n manifest_v to_o they_o host_n 3.5_o and_o his_o proneness_n to_o pardon_v in_o spirit_n 11._o man_n pride_n be_v another_o cause_n of_o their_o oppression_n a_o too_o lofty_a esteem_n of_o themselves_o make_v they_o malcontent_a with_o their_o measure_n which_o be_v covetousness_n and_o that_o make_v they_o turn_v oppressor_n therefore_o he_o give_v the_o oppressor_n the_o title_n of_o proud_a while_o he_o say_v better_a be_v the_o patient_a in_o spirit_n than_o ignorance_n of_o the_o lord_n sovereignty_n and_o wisdom_n who_o work_v all_o for_o his_o own_o glory_n and_o the_o good_a of_o his_o people_n hence_o learn_v â—â—_o motion_n of_o revenge_n be_v ready_a to_o arise_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o lord_n oppress_v people_n against_o the_o instrument_n of_o their_o trouble_n and_o will_v arise_v if_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o prepossess_v with_o christian_a patience_n for_o solomon_n have_v commend_v that_o grace_n he_o dissuade_v from_o this_o evil_a as_o contrary_a to_o it_o import_v proneness_n in_o the_o best_a thereunto_o in_o a_o revenge_n and_o this_o without_o any_o reluctance_n or_o grief_n that_o the_o heart_n shall_v be_v so_o exercise_v though_o a_o child_n of_o god_n may_v be_v assault_v with_o passion_n and_o motion_n of_o revenge_n yet_o these_o get_v not_o leave_v to_o rest_v peaceable_o in_o his_o bosom_n for_o anger_n rest_v in_o the_o bosom_n of_o fool_n the_o expression_n signify_v to_o cherish_v defend_v mean_v to_o be_v out_o of_o public_a employment_n and_o in_o a_o abject_a and_o despise_a condition_n isa_n 47.1_o four_o he_o enlarge_v this_o evil_a administration_n in_o two_o instance_n while_o and_o free_a spirit_n as_o prince_n shall_v be_v in_o a_o commonwealth_n redact_v to_o extreme_a misery_n for_o want_n of_o public_a employment_n which_o they_o deserve_v and_o servant_n or_o man_n of_o base_a slavish_a spirit_n fit_a for_o no_o other_o employment_n than_o to_o be_v at_o their_o command_n advance_v to_o rule_n over_o they_o or_o this_o verse_n may_v be_v look_v upon_o as_o a_o comparison_n illustrate_v misgovernment_n in_o the_o former_a instance_n thus_o this_o prefer_n of_o the_o unworthy_a and_o slight_v of_o the_o worthy_a be_v no_o less_o unsuitable_a than_o if_o a_o prince_n shall_v page_n on_o foot_n his_o servant_n ride_v on_o a_o stately_a horse_n hence_o learn_v 1._o those_o that_o will_v prove_v faithful_a in_o any_o employment_n especial_o of_o trust_n they_o do_v too_o frequent_o from_o any_o appearance_n of_o hard_a event_n reason_n that_o they_o must_v neglect_v necessary_a duty_n particular_o that_o of_o charity_n here_o press_v he_o that_o the_o prime_a exercise_n which_o these_o dispensation_n call_v man_n unto_o in_o prosperity_n say_v he_o be_v joyful_a he_o mean_v spiritual_a cheerfulness_n and_o thankfulness_n to_o god_n when_o thing_n go_v well_o and_o in_o adversity_n he_o do_v not_o press_v that_o which_o it_o contrary_a to_o joy_n but_o that_o which_o man_n be_v often_o then_o most_o indispose_v for_o namely_o the_o there_o be_v not_o any_o work_n of_o god_n providence_n in_o the_o world_n which_o do_v not_o deserve_v man_n most_o serious_a thought_n to_o be_v take_v up_o with_o it_o every_o one_o of_o they_o thereunto_o for_o this_o be_v it_o solomon_n here_o press_v consider_v the_o work_n of_o god_n 2._o they_o that_o will_v so_o consider_v the_o work_n of_o providence_n as_o to_o work_v their_o heart_n to_o quietness_n and_o guard_v they_o against_o anxiety_n and_o discontent_n must_v look_v above_o creature_n second_o cause_n and_o instrument_n and_o consider_v all_o event_n as_o god_n work_n and_o
