but_o in_o the_o word_n of_o god_n there_o be_v no_o warrant_n for_o this_o confession_n nor_o in_o the_o write_n of_o orthodox_n antiquity_n for_o the_o space_n of_o many_o hundred_o year_n after_o christ_n as_o one_o of_o their_o own_o side_n avouch_v and_o he_o quote_v in_o the_o margin_n a_o man_n of_o small_a credit_n among_o we_o beatus_fw-la rhenanus_fw-la for_o his_o author_n well_o let_v in_o heaven_n and_o who_o sin_n you_o do_v retain_v they_o shall_v be_v retain_v for_o give_v his_o apostle_n power_n to_o remit_v and_o forgive_v man_n their_o sin_n his_o meaning_n be_v not_o that_o they_o shall_v pardon_v they_o whether_o they_o will_v or_o will_v not_o or_o that_o they_o shall_v absolve_v any_o other_o than_o such_o as_o be_v contrite_a and_o do_v humble_o crave_v absolution_n neither_o shall_v they_o absolve_v they_o from_o they_o know_v not_o of_o what_o but_o that_o they_o shall_v know_v what_o how_o many_o and_o how_o grievous_a their_o offence_n be_v that_o they_o
